Young Thug Says Jay-Z Doesn’t Have 30 Hit Songs

Young Thug was talking with Gillie Da Kid on the latter’s ‎Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast and the Atlanta rapper proceeded to jump out the window, figuratively. While bragging that he had 30 songs that would make the crowd go crazy at his shows in arenas, he then proceeded to add that “Jay-Z ain’t got 30 songs like that.”

Now Thugger said that with the utmost confidence. But the look on Gillie’s face said it all. But to be clear, the Philly rapper turned host also diplomatically added, “He got a lot, though.”

The tone, or maybe his thoughts catching up with what he just said, led Thug to walk back that wild statement instantaneously.

Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez to perform at Biden swearing-in

Pop artists Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga will be among A-listers who will perform at the largely-virtual swearing-in ceremony of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States on January 20.

Gaga, one-of-a-kind artist, performer and a trailblazer in beauty and fashion, will sing the national anthem and Lopez will give a musical performance on the West Front of the US Capitol, where the ceremony will be taking place.

Biden, 78, and Kamala Harris, 56, will be sworn in as President and Vice President of the United States during the ceremony.

But it won't be a typical inauguration, for several reasons.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic and fresh security concerns following a pro-Trump mob breaching the Capitol last week have combined to force some changes to what is a historical American day.

Dustin Poirier Defeats Conor McGregor

In a jaw-dropping second-round TKO, Dustin Poirier avenges his loss to Conor McGregor, making this the biggest win of his career so far.

The UFC lightweight contender shocks McGregor in a TKO win at 2:32 of the second round of Saturday night’s main event of UFC 257, hosted in Abu Dhabi. McGregor led the first round, landing several hard hooks to Poirier, snapping his head back but not hurting him enough to win the match.

In the second round, Poirier first weakens McGregor with kicks to the right calf, leaving him compromised. In a series of hard-punching combinations, McGregor’s highly anticipated return quickly becomes an unforgettable upset as Poirier delivers the closing righthand blow to drop McGregor. Poirier follows him to the ground, landing a couple more before the referee steps in and calls the match. This marks the first-ever KO or TKO loss in McGregor’s 13-year MMA career.

RZA Talks Second Chances and Cut Throat City Film

There calling him the leader of Wu-Tang Clan. RZA, or Bobby, as he is known to close friends and colleagues, had a particular way of putting beats to razer-sharp lyrics that made you feel part of a song’s creative process. Fans feel RZA’s music, both from Wu-Tang and his solo and collaborative efforts, on a cellular level.

An urban-bred intellectual who expresses through a mic or camera lens, RZA is considered prophetic to his community and perhaps a unicorn to mainstream culture. With a penchant for Eastern philosophy as is evident in the name Wu-Tang Clan and lyrical nods to Shaolin Kung Fu, RZA shared, “One thing I’m looking forward to doing in the near future… I’ve never been to India, and I have to check that one off,” referring to the top item on his bucket list. I recommended he connect with Indian author and yogi, Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, when he makes the trip. RZA is so well-read and well-versed, it felt novel giving him someone and something beyond his scope to Google.

“Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie… What are your plans for the weekend?” he joked in the Friday post.

Lopez, 51, meanwhile, was on location in the Caribbean Friday shooting her latest film, “Shotgun Wedding.”

Feds Say They Found $1.2M Of R. Kelly's Money

Federal prosecutors say a bank account controlled by R&B singer R. Kelly received at least $1.2 million last year and was created shortly after the singer was charged with sex crimes in Cook County Circuit Court.

They also say Kelly opened the bank account in the name of a nominee, and, in recorded jail calls, the singer appears to have directed people to contact that person “to receive payments indirectly from Kelly.”

That, in part, is what prosecutors say investigators were looking into when they unexpectedly wound up with bank records belonging to an attorney representing R. Kelly in federal court in Brooklyn. Kelly’s defense team accused the feds last month of an “unreasonable, intimidating, and harassing fishing expedition into the records of Mr. Kelly’s current counsel.”

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez are no longer interested in buying the Mets. That decision was reached after negotiations with potential partners failed to materialize.

Jennifer Lopez Talks Breaking Stereotypes as Latin Artist

Jennifer Lopez explained how they landed on Maluma to make his big-screen debut in Marry Me, which she also produced with her partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. “Maluma was top of the list,” Lopez said of the search to find the hottest international star, someone who was making music and could possibly act rather than find an actor who could fake being a singer, which “is sometimes not the best.”

As for Jennifer Lopez, she described playing Kat as “cathartic” if not a little meta because the character is a global superstar with many eyes monitoring her search for love. “She’s finding her perfect match but not what people would think is her perfect match,” she said.

The producers found a match for concert sequences in Madison Square Garden in part because Maluma was already scheduled to perform at the iconic New York City venue. So, they made use of the full audience for a sequence that didn’t quite go according to plan due to a technical hiccup. “The teleprompter didn’t work,” Maluma explained. “She came out — this beautiful queen over there. I was like, ‘Let’s do this.’ I was sure it was working but it was off. No one actually noticed.”
