P. Diddy Dropped by Powerhouse Law Firm

 


The media law firm Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks has reportedly dropped Sean “Diddy Combs” from its client list following multiple lawsuits and the release of a security video showing the rap mogul’s physical conflict with his then-girlfriend Cassie inside a Los Angeles hotel. The-Dream accused of rape



Songwriter and producer “The-Dream” a longtime hitmaker and collaborator of artists including Beyoncé and Rihanna – was accused Tuesday of rape, physical assault, and psychological manipulation by a former protégée.


The woman, Chanaaz Mangroe, filed the suit in a Los Angeles district court against Gesteelde-Diamant, as well as the record label Epic Records and a company co-owned by Gesteelde-Diamant called Contra Paris, LLC.

Major Myjah signs deal with Roc Nation

Feds Claim To Have Surveillance Footage of Diddy

 


The Feds first raided two of his properties in Miami and LA back in March. Back then they confirmed they were investigating allegations of sex trafficking. The new CNN report claims that the federal government acquired surveillance footage of a male sex worker inside Diddy's home. They also shared that the man claims he was "victimized" by the rap mogul and could end up a witness in any possible indictment against him.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s home in Florida was raided by federal agents and they even seized some of the “Gummo” rapper’s vehicles, according to reports. The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 6ix9ine’s home  in Lake Worth, FL yesterday(April 17) to assist the IRS in their operation.

Judge Orders Dame Dash to Sell Roc-A-Fella Shares

 


A New York judge has reportedly ordered Dame Dash to sell his shares in Roc-A-Fella to pay a $823,000 judgment to movie producer Josh Weber. 


This comes after Dame sued Weber for defamation and copyright infringement from a dispute over the 2016 film "Dear Frank." Dash was fired as the film's producer, and he claimed that Weber was trying to sell the film independently under the new title, "The List." This led to Dash's lawsuit against Weber, which he ultimately lost and was ordered to pay the six-figure judgment.

Rihanna and Jay-Z’s Surpasses Billion Views on YouTube

 


The official video for the pair’s 2007 collab has now surpassed one billion views on the platform since it was uploaded in 2009. The song sat atop the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released, and maintained that position for seven weeks, making it one of the Anti singer’s most successful songs.

Keffe D Granted Bail

 


After doing a recent article, its funny how things turned out. In the latest developments in the case of the murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. Duane "Keffe D" Davis, a former gang leader and suspect in the murder, has pleaded not guilty and the bail has been set at $750,000. Judge Carli Kierny of Clark County District Court has granted the possibility of house arrest for Davis before his trial in June.

Diddy Facing New Lawsuit

 


Diddy is facing another lawsuit, one of the last cases brought under New York's Adult Survivors Act, according to Rolling Stone. Filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday, the lawsuit accuses Diddy of sexually assaulting a woman, a former student at Syracuse University, in 1991 by drugging her during a date and filming the alleged incident.

Chris Brown Sued

 


A man named Abe Diaw is suing Chris Brown, alleging that the singer assaulted him at a London nightclub back in February. According to Diaw, Chris Brown attacked him at TAPE nightclub, wielding a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila as a weapon, causing severe injuries. Diaw claims he was knocked unconscious after Chris struck him with "crushing blows" and then proceeded to stomp on him while he was unconscious on the club floor.

On Sunday (Sep. 24), the R&B icon announced that he’ll be headlining Apple Music’s halftime show for Super Bowl LVIII. In addition, he revealed the title of his long-awaited album, Coming Home, and its release date of February 11, 2024.


Super Bowl LVIII will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is where Usher currently holds a residency until the end of the year.

According to AllHipHop.com, a source close to Nelly revealed that the St. Louis entertainer has sold 50% of his music catalog for $50 million.


Nelly reportedly made the deal with HarbourView Equity Partners for "select recorded assets," including 8 albums and a slew of #1 singles like Grammy-winning singles "Dilemma" ft. Kelly Rowland and "Hot in Herre."

Jay-Z Wins $6.8 Million For Parlux Lawsuit

 


Jay-Z was wrapped up in a lawsuit with fragrance company Parlux, and the brand reportedly lost its appeal for a 2021 court ruling. The billionaire rapper countersued the brand in 2016 for unpaid royalties after they sued Hov for allegedly breaching his contract. Parlux was reportedly seeking $68 million. They claimed Jay-Z failed to promote their perfume as part of the terms of a 2012 contract.
