Watch Eminem's '8 Mile' Movie

It's been since 2002 when Eminem dropped the movie '8 Mile' for the world to watch and that they did. 8 Mile is a 2002 American drama film written by Scott Silver, directed by Curtis Hanson, and starring Eminem, Mekhi Phifer, Brittany Murphy, and more.

“8 Mile,” a movie about a fictionalized Eminem's rise from Detroit's darkest corners, starred the rapper as himself and banked $51 million during its opening weekend. The film has since earned $242 million in global sales on a scant budget of $41 million.

To anybody contemplating whether or not to actually watch this movie, just stop reading this post and actually watch the movie below, then finish this review with a comment.

"Eminem wins by a knockout!" raves Rolling Stone, as the Grammy Award-winning phenomenon makes his feature film debut in this gripping story about the boundaries that hold us back and the courage that can set us free. For Jimmy Smith, Jr. (Eminem), life is a daily fight just to keep hope alive. Feeding his dreams in Detroit's vibrant music scene, Jimmy wages an extraordinary personal struggle to find his own voice and earn a place in a world where rhymes rule, legends are born and every moment... is another chance.

From Academy Award-winner Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential) and Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), 8 Mile is the triumphant film Time Magazine hails as "Powerful!" and Entertainment Weekly applauds as "Electrifying and Mesmerizing!"

Eminem Rap Battle With Chris D'Elia Will Happen

Things are not clear on what Eminem is trying to do by calling certain entertainers to battle him, but it sure looks like the Detroit rapper is winning. On Tuesday, Eminem returned to the 'Gram to promote the collaborative record and to make the following promise to his fans: "Me and @chrisdelia are gonna battle one day," he wrote in the caption.

The 39-year-old comedian, who raps under the Chank Smith alias, caught wind of Em's post and immediately accepted the challenge. The post also included a photo of D'Elia posing with a trunk filled with napkins—a reference to his 2018 freestyle in which he imitated Shady's signature flow.

Eminem was seemingly amused by D'Elia's impression. He posted another clip of the comedian's video titled "Eminem in the cypher." "This is INCREDIBLE!!!," he captioned the video, "4 a second I actually thought it WAS me!!"

D'Elia told Billboard that Logic's team had reached out to him just days before "Homicide" dropped. The comedian said he was honored to be featured on the record, so much so that he refused to accept payment for the sample.

So what is it that Eminem is trying to prove? Is he giving the right artist the spotlight they deserve? Or is this apart of his legacy on how he made it to the industry? Leave your thoughts below!

#Stream Chel Strong - "She Ready" @Chel_Strong

Detroit hip-hop artist/songwriter Chel Strong presents "She Ready", his new single featuring Foxxanne.

Already getting spins on LA's Real 92.3 with DJ Hed and Chuck Dizzle, Chel says his new single "is a saying that we say about a bad one who not only looks, but knows her worth so she won’t settle for less. When I wrote the song, I was at Cory’s house going through beats and as the actual beat was just playing as background music, he’s showing me a girl he was potentially dating and I told him 'damn bro, she ready!' We both laughed and was like 'yo, that’s a song idea'. Not even five minutes later, hook was recorded and verses were being pinned.” Chel is expected to release an EP by the end of the year.

Eminem Disses Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Reese Witherspoon and More

The rapper dropped the 11-minute "Kick Off" late Friday night (Nov. 30), and he mentions Ariana Grande (while referring to the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester in May of 2017) and compliments Jada Pinkett Smith ("Told this chick she's hot as Jada Pinkett/And just stared 'til I made her think it").

The song comes in video form, with the visuals being shot at The Shelter at St. Andrew's in Detroit and it definitely finds Shady in battle rap mode. He released the video via Twitter stating, "The release of BODIED has me feeling nostalgic about battle rap so I headed down to my old stomping grounds."

Eminem raps about beating Witherspoon to death with a broom, and the third verse features a barb at Justin Bieber ("Justin Bieber in a Catholic school/Selling dust and reefer when your back is to him").

The Kamikaze MC raps for over 10 minutes and in that time period he spits about a plethora of subjects including Islamic terrorism and the infamous Manchester Arena bombing following Ariana Grande's show in 2017.

Regardless, there are plenty of familiar names to be found in the lyrics of "Kick Off," and Marshall Mathers' latest output falls in line with his many instances fo violently attacking women with his words.

The New Apple IPlane

During the meeting with President Trump and Kanye West, West suggested that Trump should fly on the ‘iPlane 1’, instead of the current Air Force One, a Boeing VC-25AS aircraft.

Following the meeting, the designer of the concept, Shabtai Hirshberg, told The Verge that Kanye’s words “completely caught [him] by surprise”.

The original design was posted back in 2012 and is called ‘Aerocruiser’. It was created as part of the Detroit-based designer’s master’s degree, with the project titled, “Redesign of a Commercial Aircraft for 2030”.

Hirshberg added that while Apple is not involved at this stage, he is currently working on a smaller version of the craft.

Cadillac Returning Back To Michigan

Cadillac will relocate is headquarters back to Detroit from New York City. Cadillac moved its HQ to New York under former boss Johan de Nysschen. Cadillac on Wednesday confirmed that the automaker has decided to relocate the luxury brand's headquarters back to Michigan.

Detroit is great, but it can be an echo chamber, especially in a company as large and storied as General Motors. The problem is that Cadillac still relies heavily on Detroit.

Cadillac is returning its global headquarters to metro Detroit after three years in New York's upscale SoHo neighborhood. The move contradicts General Motors' stated plans in the near future.

A GM spokesman confirmed that Cadillac will move to a location near GM’s technical center in Warren, Mich., north of Detroit. A probable location would be the former headquarters of longtime GM ad agency partner Lowe Campbell Ewald in Warren, Mich., north of Detroit. GM bought the 150,000-square-foot building for $2 million in 2014.

"The move will place the Cadillac brand team closer to those responsible for the new Cadillacs, including design, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing, ensuring full integration of Cadillac's global growth strategy."

Machine Gun Kelly Disses Eminem Live In Performance

It doesn't look like the beef between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem is dying down any time soon. After Eminem's diss track targeted at Kelly, "Killshot," MGK dissed the rapper on stage during an Orlando, Fla. concert and taunted him on Instagram.

"Fuck Marshall Mathers," MGK said as he opened his set, according to TMZ. "The real Slim Shady can't stand up," he later shouted, poking fun at the Detroit rapper's age.

He later posted a photo on Instagram wearing the cover art for Em's song "Killshot," with his middle finger up. "He missed," MGK wrote. In the sliding pictures that followed, he also included a screenshot of his original diss track at Eminem, "Rap Devil," still at the No. 1 spot on Apple Music's chart.

Machine Gun Kelly didn't hold back his feelings about the song when it came out, calling it trash and announcing he's prepping a new EP Binge. However, he may be harboring more bad blood than he's letting on, as his security team was accused of beating up an actor who called MGK a "pussy" for bringing up Eminem's daughter.

Eminem Drops MGK Diss 'Killshot'

Eminem
Eminem has released his response to MGK’s “Rap Devil” with his own on record decimation, “Kill Shot.” The four-minute record takes aim at several lines spit by MGK, including the line that calling out Em for not visiting his hometown.

Although Eminem makes a point to show love to Diddy at the end of the track saying, “Oh, and I’m just playin’, Diddy. You know I love you,” some Hip-Hop fans didn’t take too kindly towards the Tupac line.

Eminem Is About To Give It All He Got Again

MGK set the rap world ablaze when he dropped his diss record, “Rap Devil”, in response to Eminem’s initial diss “calling Eminem washed up with misplaced anger and also accused the Detroit veteran of blackballing him in the industry over a tweet in 2012 about his daughter.
