Would Obama Have Beaten Trump?
In an interview with David Axelrod released yesterday, December 26th, President Obama claimed that he would have defeated Donald Trump had he been allowed to run for a third term. "I'm confident that if I — if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could've mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it," Mr. Obama said.
President-elect responded on Twitter with a firm denial that Obama could have beaten him.
It's an interesting debate: President Obama won the popular vote in both the 2008 and 2012 election, while Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016 but did not defeat Hillary Clinton in the popular vote.
Obama stressed his admiration for Clinton and said she had been the victim of unfair attacks. But, as he has in other exit interviews, he insisted that her defeat was not a rejection of the eight years of his presidency. To the contrary, he argued that he had put together a winning coalition that stretched across the country but that the Democratic Party and the Clinton campaign had failed to follow through on it.

Michael Cohen, who served as the president's lawyer and fixer for a decade, claimed he witnessed Mr Trump making derogatory comments about black people throughout the 2016 election campaign.
Cohen has publicly split from Mr Trump since he was charged with campaign finance violations and tax fraud earlier this year. He pleaded guilty to several charges this summer, claiming he violated election laws at the direction of Mr Trump, to pay a porn star in a hush money agreement.

Kim Kardashian Nominates Hillary Clinton
It all stemmed from a Kardashian quote attributed to an upcoming Wonderland magazine cover story. The quote doesn’t appear in the online version of the magazine, but BuzzFeed reports that it did appear in an advance version sent to certain outlets, including to BuzzFeed UK.
The reported quote read: “At first I thought, ‘Oh my god, I’m so Hillary (Clinton),’ but I had a long political call with Caitlyn (Jenner) last night about why she’s voting Trump. I’m on the fence.”
Headlines declared “Kim Kardashian Is Suddenly (And Disappointingly) Considering Voting For Donald Trump;” “Caitlyn Jenner Convinces Kim Kardashian to Consider Trump” and “Hillary Clinton Supporter Kim Kardashian Might Vote for Donald Trump.”
“I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job,” wrote Kardashian. “This year, I’m not just voting for myself, but also for my children, and I took that into careful consideration when I made my decision.”

Did Jay-Z Cut a Deal with Trump for Desiree Perez's pardon?
Funk Flex and Jay-Z's feud extends years, but the DJ added a new chapter by consigning a report accusing the Hip Hop mogul of cutting a deal with former President Donald Trump in exchange for Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez's pardon.
Funk Flex announced on Instagram that he has "a story to tell" in relation to the report. He posted a photo of a tabloid story covering Perez being accused of wearing wiretaps for the feds after her arrest.

The 75-year-old "godfather of funk" recalled the impact P-Funk made on the world but was sure to avoid pivoting from a time capsule, as he spoke in the present, saying, "We're here. We ain't going nowhere. We are a movement," in spite of the group's half a century long history in the music business. It is an assertion that Parliament fans can expound upon, beyond the fact that the band continues to perform in its present incarnation. True fans of hip-hop would concur, in having heard samples from Clinton's past woven into some of the genre's most prolific songs, whether they knew what they were listening to at the moment or not.
It is in bringing the party together, regardless of culture or creed that Clinton's music is often cited for, and he touched on how they bore the intention to convey that message with the classic "One Nation," saying, "That's the holy grail of the funk. It's ... our anthem and that binding force." And it is Clinton's absolute faith that the music actually facilitates unity, that prompts him to direct anyone searching for answers right back to the funk, as was the case when the CNN reporter inquired about whether he had any thoughts on Donald Trump's first 100 days in office.
"Ain't no funk in the Trump," said Clinton. "You can't be that against everything and everybody and be funky -- that's hard to do. He needs to go to a good funk concert a few times. He'd probably change his mind about a lot of things. I'm going to send him a copy of 'One Nation Under a Groove' -- maybe that'll help."

Donald Trump has a long and storied history of equating a woman’s value with her looks. Most recently, the GOP frontrunner retweeted an image of his wife Melania juxtaposed with an unflattering shot of Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi — presumably to prove that Melania is hotter. Trump Gets $100 Million From Russia
Dodson described his time spent with Donald Trump and his son on their National Charlotte clubhouse, saying Donald was "strutting up and down talking to his new members about how they were part of the greatest club in North Carolina." When Dodson asked Trump "What are you using to pay for these courses?" he responded with $100 million.
From there, Dodson got into a golf cart with Eric Trump and asked "Eric, who's funding? I know no banks--- because of the recession, the Great Recession--- have touched a golf course. You know, no one's funding any kind of golf construction. It's dead in the water the last four or five years.

Rioters with Donald Trump and soviet flags stormed the U.S. Capitol Building while Congress met to certify electoral. Among that, Donald Trump our President was inciting the invasion of the US Capitol with his own Vice President inside.
President-elect Joe Biden also expressed his belief that had the crowds of men dressed in face paint and protective riot gear storming the Capitol been BLM supporters, the response by law enforcement would have looked differently.

During a speech at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Friday, Obama said the country is in a “backlash” moment.
While Obama has in the past blasted Trump and his policies, this was the first speech in which he used his successor’s name.
Obama also addressed Trump’s tone-deaf comments last year, when the president claimed that there were “some very fine people on both sides” during the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that saw white supremacists squaring off against anti-racism protesters. Paralegal Heather Heyer, 32, was killed during the protest when a white supremacist struck her with his car.
The former president also applauded the women who have taken a stand in the Me Too movement, and the teens of Parkland, Florida, who are standing up to gun violence and the National Rifle Association. That’s how real change starts, Obama said. But nothing will get done if this generation doesn’t vote, he added.

Stormy Daniels Ordered To Pay Trump $300,000
A US federal judge in California has ordered porn star Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump nearly $300,000 for filing a defamation suit against the president that was dismissed.
US District Judge S. James Otero said Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, must pay Trump $293,000 to cover the president's attorney fees and costs plus $1,000 in sanctions for filing the lawsuit.

Trump's attorney Charles Harder hailed the ruling, along with an earlier one dismissing Daniels's defamation case, as a "total victory for the president, and a total defeat for Stormy Daniels in this case."
Clifford has also sued Trump over a non-disclosure agreement. The judge has not dismissed that case.
Daniels's attorney Michael Avenatti said in a tweet after the latest ruling that his client planned to appeal and will likely never have to pay a dime.
"If Stormy has to pay $300k to Trump in the defamation case (which will never hold up on appeal) and Trump has to pay Stormy $1,500,000 in the NDA case (net $1,200,000 to Stormy), how is this a Trump win?"

Former United States President Donald Trump left his golf club in New Jersey on Thursday and headed to Georgia to turn himself in on charges related to his attempt to overturn the state's results of the 2020 election. Upon arrival in Georgia, he was booked at the Fulton County Jail and had his mug shot taken, making him the first former U.S. president to have this experience.

Donald Trump Rants Off On Hollywood
In the midst of discussing alleged anti-conservative bias in social media, Trump abruptly shifted the topic to entertainment, accusing Hollywood of “racism” without providing context.
Trump is criticizing Hollywood’s terrible history of whitewashing and perpetuation of harmful stereotypes. Considering that Hollywood has recently shown great commitment to diversity and inclusion, the statement seems untimely, at best.
