Funk Flex Reveals The Reason Jay-Z Stays Off Social Media

Funk Flex isn’t holding back his opinions lately. Toronto rapper Drake along with Jay-Z has been getting disses from Flex.

Checking into the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast, radio host Funk Flex exposes his private convo with Jay-Z. During the conversation, hosted by Gillie Da King and influencer Wallo267, the Hot 97 disc jockey shared the alleged reason why Hov stays off of social media.

While referring to the private convo Flex says, “You know he wants me to tell you why he can’t be on social media.” He continues, “‘He’s the most sensitive motherf*cker on the planet and he can’t take n***as in his comments telling him the truth.”

Gansta Marcus Speaks On Jay-Z And Funkmaster Flex Beef

DJ Funkmaster Flex already called Jay Z’s Life + Times website trash, but now the DJ is taking shots directly at Jigga. many stars and celebrities are weighing in the statements on the problem that just won't seem to go away. Now Dame Dash has entered the ring in the Jay Z and Funkmaster Flex beef. Dame says HOV is too corporate to respond. The veteran disc jock also went on to offer a vague challenge to Hov.

New York Dj Funk Master Flex is pretty pissed off with Brooklyn mogul Jay Z. Apparently Funk Flex feels that Jigga is doing shady business and trying to steal the DJ style. Funkmaster Flex had some pent up feelings about Jay Z from years ago, such as Jay’s Magna Carta Samsung app and not being able to play Dipset songs at the 40/40 Lounge.

The producer out of Lima, Ohio also had comments of his own releasing this statement! "The two are giants in the music industry. Jay-Z cannot afford to loose DJ Funk Master Flex while on the other hand Flex cannot afford to loose Jay. I'm sure we can all agree that Jay had to make some decisions to get to the job. Some may not have been his best move, but look at where it got him."

"Also, If I owned a lounge, club, or any kind of bar that let entertainers perform, it would not be Gangster rap. The violence and community that they promote cause people to want to live in that manner which sometimes leads to bad things happening during the show. Which is why I believe Jay did not want music like Dipset being played in the club."

Dame Dash recently sat down with Kenyatta of Hip Hop Motivation and shared his thoughts on Funkmaster Flex calling out Jay Z last week for allegedly stealing an app idea and banning The Dipset’s music from his 40/40 clubs, with Dash acknowledging it’s impossible for him to be unbiased due to affiliations with both Jay and Dipset. He did however say that this was the “coolest” he’s ever seen Funkmaster Flex and admires the DJ’s honesty.

The Hip Hop mogul also feels that Jay won’t be able to respond directly to Flex because of his corporate status, and that the press will have to confront Jay about the allegations, namely that he doesn’t allow Dipset music to be played in his clubs, otherwise these so-called journalists would be “fake” for ignoring the obvious.

Marcus had this to say, "Out of all people to release a statement on this conversation, it had to be Dame? Why not Dipset or other DJ members. What about the wrtiers at Life+Times, what do they have to say about this?"

Did Jay-Z Cut a Deal with Trump for Desiree Perez's pardon?

Funk Flex and Jay-Z's feud extends years, but the DJ added a new chapter by consigning a report accusing the Hip Hop mogul of cutting a deal with former President Donald Trump in exchange for Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez's pardon.

Funk Flex announced on Instagram that he has "a story to tell" in relation to the report. He posted a photo of a tabloid story covering Perez being accused of wearing wiretaps for the feds after her arrest.

Funk Master Flex Say's Drake Is Better Than Jay-Z

While on IG Live, Funk Master Flex got into a debate with Gillie Da King about who the greatest rapper alive was and Flex revealed that it was Drake in his opinion.

“You know if those reference tracks never happened, Drake would have been my favorite artist of all time. He would’ve surpassed Jay-Z in my book.”

Gillie would jokingly say to Flex that he better get security because New Yorkers will lose their minds. Flex went on to further explain his point.

“If those reference tracks did not come out, Drake is the number one rapper of all time. Do not get it f**ked up. I would’ve said because he’s too versatile, his melodies, he had the bars and he had the songs. Drake is the number one singer right now?”

Trap Manny (@trapmannyhbtl) - "Trap Seazon" LP

Though he is a fresh face in the national rap scene, Trap Manny is no rookie in the game of life. Having gained legendary status in his Bronx neighborhood via his music, Trap’s career trajectory was stifled due to several jail stints. Garnering a co-sign from Hip Hop heavyweight Max B, who had similar struggles with the law, Max offered Trap advice on maintaining artistic integrity and remaining steadfast with his musical aspirations. Tapping into his inner sense of resiliency, Trap Manny reconnected with his longtime friend and fellow Bronx native Don Q, landing him a deal with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Highbridge the Label. Trap’s first few releases showcased his ability to turn gritty stories from his life into bouncy cuts with strained yet soulful melodies that resonated with listeners. Now on the brink of stardom, Trap Manny looks to carve out his own niche with the release of his debut project via Atlantic Records titled Trap Seazon. Featuring contributions from his Highbridge comrades A Boogie and Don Q, the 14-track opus is an encapsulation of his life. Akin to the haunting tales by the iconic DMX, Trap Seazon harkens back to a grimier era of New York City meshed with a new age sensibility. "Empty The Clip," which is the lead single from the project recently had its visuals premiered via HotNewHipHop and "Alone," which features A Boogie has already been staking its claims as one of the standout tracks. In support of the release, Trap Manny is set to perform at various cities throughout the northeast and midwest: June 30 - Common Ground Music Festival - Lansing, MI July 2 - Henry W. Maier Festival Park - Milwaukee, WI July 21 - Mad City Festival - Foxborough, MA August 17 - Funk Master Flex Car Show - Bronx, NY August 30 - Soulfrito Fest - Brooklyn, NY Aug 31 - Hot 104.7 Summer Jam - Portland, ME October 13 - Rolling Loud New York - New York, NY October 25 - Powerhouse Philly - Philadelphia, PA October 26 - Power 105.1 Powerhouse - Newark, NJ
