Kanye West ended his feud with Drake as they smiled together in a new video. Drake first confirmed that the feud appeared to be over when he shared two clips on Instagram.
Alongside the two videos, Drake wrote: “You have reached your destination.” Kanye West further proved the feud was over when he shared the same video onto his Instagram Story. The Donda hitmaker continued to document his night with Drake by sharing a photo of the two rappers joined by J Prince.
Now in 1995 Jay Z formed Rocafella Records with his partners Damon Dash and Kareem Burke. The first project that got released by the label was Reasonable doubt in 1996. The project did not do amazing numbers out the gate. Most of the project’s singles like dead presidents and can’t knock the hustle failed to reach the top 40, It debuted at number 23 on the billboard 200 and sold 43000 copies in it is first week.
Just a few days out from the tenth anniversary of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s collaborative epic, ‘Watch The Throne’, social media personality and friend of West’s Justin Laboy has claimed that a follow-up album is coming – and sooner than fans might expect.
The former Roc-A-Fella artists, Beanie Sigel and JAY-Z have had a complicated relationship from the get-go. Prior to Beanie’s 2009 diss track at Jay, the two had already had a falling out. The high-profile beef gave the public a front-row seat to the infamous Roc-A-Fella split.
On Friday, April 30th, Hype Williams will premiere a new music video for the song “Sorry Not Sorry” starring Jay-Z, and Nas.
This is an incredible feat as both rappers are considered in different rap genealogies to be the best rappers to ever touch the mic and there have been rumors of friction between camps dating back to the late 90s or early 2000s.
Back when music was real, artist had the opportunity to shine in their own distinctive way. Rap is one of the most distinctive features of hip-hop. Rappers use rhythm, lyrics, and vocal tone to express themselves. The best rappers are distinguished by their “flow” – the way the words run together without the performer getting tongue-tied.
The history of Jay-Z and Nas beef will be talked about for years to come. It seems like it was just yesterday when Nas and Jay-Z were involved in the what some may call the greatest Hip-Hop battle of all time.
It seems that Jay-Z and Nas have put all of that behind them. In 2006, Nas was good enough for Jay-Z to sign him to a $3 Million dollar record deal. Even Fat Joe and Jim Jones have a long-standing history with JAY-Z, having beefed with him in the early 2000s.
