Watch Eminem's '8 Mile' Movie

It's been since 2002 when Eminem dropped the movie '8 Mile' for the world to watch and that they did. 8 Mile is a 2002 American drama film written by Scott Silver, directed by Curtis Hanson, and starring Eminem, Mekhi Phifer, Brittany Murphy, and more.

“8 Mile,” a movie about a fictionalized Eminem's rise from Detroit's darkest corners, starred the rapper as himself and banked $51 million during its opening weekend. The film has since earned $242 million in global sales on a scant budget of $41 million.

"Eminem wins by a knockout!" raves Rolling Stone, as the Grammy Award-winning phenomenon makes his feature film debut in this gripping story about the boundaries that hold us back and the courage that can set us free. For Jimmy Smith, Jr. (Eminem), life is a daily fight just to keep hope alive. Feeding his dreams in Detroit's vibrant music scene, Jimmy wages an extraordinary personal struggle to find his own voice and earn a place in a world where rhymes rule, legends are born and every moment... is another chance.

From Academy Award-winner Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential) and Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), 8 Mile is the triumphant film Time Magazine hails as "Powerful!" and Entertainment Weekly applauds as "Electrifying and Mesmerizing!"

African-American Unemployment Hits New-Record-Low

Black unemployment has hit yet another record low, and that is being cheered by members of the Project 21 black leadership network, who cite lower taxes and fewer regulations as major factors in America's economic recovery.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) just released its October employment report, which shows a 3.6 percent overall unemployment rate - with black unemployment at only 5.4 percent. This is the lowest level recorded since the BLS began tracking jobless figures by race in 1972.

"Once again, unemployment for blacks in the U.S. has reached a record low. Trump's policies of deregulation and low taxation have created one of the best environments for job creation in a generation," said Project 21 Co-Chairman Horace Cooper. "When Americans - black or white - have a job and are independent and self-sustaining they are happier, their families are better off and the economy booms. This is a welcome change that should be applauded as well as maintained into the future."

"Black Americans are doing well in a more competitive workforce. This is great news," added Project 21 Co-Chairman Council Nedd II. "America's growing energy independence, commonsense regulatory reform and other pro-business policies are helping create new jobsthat are putting black Americans to work and allowing them to take full advantage of the American Dream."

Understanding Rick James Hit Song With Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule hit song "Im Real" has always been one of my favorite songs from the the artist when they were doing there thing.

"I'm Real" is the name of two songs recorded by American singer Jennifer Lopez, both primarily for her second studio album J.Lo (2001). The original version was released as the album's fourth single; Ja Rule of Murder Inc Records wrote and was featured on a new version of the song entitled "I'm Real (Murder Remix)", which was featured on a re-issue of J.Lo in July 2001, on Lopez's remix album J to tha L–O! The Remixes (2002), and Ja Rule's third studio album Pain Is Love (2001).

Along with Irv Gotti, Ja Rule wrote the Murder remix for "I'm Real", which utilizes samples from "All Night Long" (1983) by Mary Jane Girls and "Mary Jane" by Rick James. "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" was produced by Gotti and 7 Aurelius, and was recorded at Record Plant in Hollywood, California and Crackhouse Studios in New York City.
