Irv Gotti Talks Beef Between Jay-Z and 2Pac

2Pac was attempting to ignite total warfare against The Notorious B.I.G. This means anyone that stood next to Biggie was liable to be hit with a direct shot. Per Irv Gotti, that was the case when it came to 2Pac's issue with Jay-Z

Irv made a recent appearance on Fat Joe's Instagram Live show, The Fat Joe Show, during which he touched on Jigga's tension with 2Pac. Gotti told Joey Crack that Hov got on 2Pac's bad side by having Biggie featured on "Brooklyn's Finest" from his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. On the track, Big makes a rare allusion to 2Pac by using his name in witty wordplay.

"Gotta go, Coolio mean it's gettin' Too Hot," Biggie raps after making a reference to "Who Shot Ya" earlier in the song. "If Fay' had twins, she'd probably have two Pacs/Get it? Tu... Pac's?" Per Gotti, allowing Biggie to get this off on his record put Hov in 2Pac's crosshairs.

What Roc Nation And The NFL Is Doing For Hadiya Pendleton

It's a good thing how Jay-Z is getting involved in our African American culture. It's time we slow down gun violence in our black communities. He is really using his voice to stand out behind his music while having the NFL to back him up.

Hadiya Pendleton's family has continued to keep her legacy alive. The Chicago teen is the subject of Team Roc's latest PSA about putting an end to gun violence.

Pendleton is one of many stories of kids being killed by gun violence from all over the world. Pendleton was gunned down as she was spending time with friends at the city's Harsh Park.

The video titled "Hadiya's Promise" is narrated by her mother Cleopatra Cowley-Pendleton, who shared her daughter's hopes and dreams as well as her own efforts at social justice in her young years.

Yo Gotti Sued For $6.6 Million

Yo Gotti is having his pockets hit hard after a North Carolina judge ordered Yo Gotti to pay millions over a botched business deal. Gotti lost a $6.6 million default judgment Tuesday (May 28) after failing to appear in court to address allegations that he refused to sign off on the release of a song collaboration, despite pocketing $20,000 for the feature.

Michael Terry paid Gotti to work with his artist, Young Fletcher, in hopes of jump starting his career. The 38-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Mario Mims, reportedly refused to sign a side artist agreement which would have allowed Fletcher to release the song.

Terry claims that he attempted to get in contact with Gotti and his team numerous times but to no avail. He also claimed Gotti tried to poach his artist. “At some point during this time period, Yo Gotti contacted Young Fletcher directly and privately offered him $150,000 to leave my label and join his instead,” Terry asserted in his affidavit. “Young Fletcher turned down the offer.”

Gotti is also accused of recording a new track with the same verse that he used for the song to “intentionally” make it seem as if Fletcher copied his music. Terry is prepared to do whatever it takes to get the money, including going after Gotti’s cars and Bel Air mansion.
