The city of Lima, Ohio better get ready for a change in direction. For the rapper Nieman Marcus has touched down to cause hell. Lima is a small city in northwest Ohio that is full of rappers and entertainers, but there is one who stand out among the rest.

Nieman Marcus made a local name for himself under the rap name of Gansta Marcus. He is the largest underground producers the city has to offer. He is also the owner of The Wrap-Up Magazine.com and online blogger of unsigned artist.

In 2010 he released his first album under +Catapult Distribution on many online digital retail stores on sites like Amazon.com, and Itunes.com. Since then, he has released several artist like Lil Reese (All I Am Mix-Tape), Young Cardo (Mississippi Boy Mix-Tape), and a few of his own.

Sir Charles C of Lima, Ohio has been signed to +Motown Records since 2008. Since that time, he’s made singles and done shows and tours, all to build up his buzz. Sir Charles was recently in Dayton, Ohio a few weeks ago to participate in a video shoot with Indiana-based Rap artist Mr. Perfect (who also has a deal pending with Def Jam). He took time from his busy schedule for a Q&A.

Sir Charles C: “It took many tanks of gas going up an down the highway, it took me and Ty Jamz (my producer) many restless nights trying to come up with great songs, it' took my homie S Rise to believe in me and give me a chance at working toward my dream, and it took Tony T Luv Davis to see my true potential and introduce me to Sylvia Rhone (President of Universal/Motown Records). And I won her over with my music an my passion. I am humbled for this opportunity.”

Federal charges unlikely for Darren Wilson in Ferguson case, officials say. Its sad that this man could not be charged at all in any case. I understand that he is a cop and its a high risk to lock him up, but a charge with at least parole with a guilty conviction is a option that could have taken place.

"The black community members that caused and supported these riots that took place helped to cause this conviction to go free." Ferguson is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

Not only is this is just happening in Ferguson, but also in many various states across the United States. Ohio is no better joining in on the cause of police power. Florida really started the statement that is invloving into a movement with Trayvon Martin.

Two police officers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries recently in Ohio. While just before that releasing the 911 calls and the full surveillance video of the confrontation and fatal shooting of a 12-year-old Ohio boy, The biggest problem that I see in Ohio is not only the prison system, but also local county jail sytems. They don't care if the jail are full and have minor convictions, inmates can sleep on concrete floors exposed to any condition that is at hand.

There is just too much going on in the world. Both sides of color need to put down all protest, police set down all weapons, and raise their hands for a change. Lets all march for a better world standing together no matter how much it hurts.

Driver Survives Icy River

A Lima, Ohio man who drove his car through a fence and plummeted into the icy Ottawa River overnight was lucky to be alive. Friday to reports of a man walking on East Elm Street with his face covered in blood and wearing wet clothing. They came across 35-year-old Robert Smith III, of Lima. It was so cold, Smith’s wet clothes had frozen to his body.

Smith was taken to an area hospital to be treated for cold weather and minor facial injuries. Several hours later, Smith said he may have driven his car into the river somewhere. Officers were sent to the area and found a car in the river near the intersection of South Jackson and East Elm streets. From what officers could tell, it appears the driver drove south on Jackson Street, through the Elm Street intersection and veered toward the river.

The driver drove through a fence and plummeted 20 feet down into the Ottawa River. He freed himself from the car and swam ashore. Alcohol may be a factor in the incident, according to police. The crash remains under investigation, the Lima, Ohio police reported. The Lima/Allen County Dive Team was dispatched to the scene to remove the car from the river.

Terry Watson Becomes New Lima, Ohio Celebrity

Lima, Ohio has introduced their very own local celebrity Terry Watson in a major way. Terry Watson, known locally as the “Little Caesar’s Dancing Guy,” entertains passers-by on a daily basis with his sign spinning and dance routine. On May 4, the local celebrity took his talents from the parking lots of Lima to the big stage in Las Vegas, where he placed second in the Little Caesar’s shaker board contest.

The shaker board contest is a competition among Little Caesar’s restaurants across the U.S. and the world. Each franchise sends in a video of their “shaker board dancer” to the company’s corporate office, where a panel of executives reviews the tapes and selects three people to attend the international contest in Las Vegas.

Watson was chosen out of hundreds of applicants, and received an all-expenses-paid trip to compete during Little Caesar’s annual franchisee meeting. Watson said he was “shocked” that he was chosen, but his boss, Ron Massey, wasn’t the least bit surprised.

“He’s been close to the top three for the last couple years, and this year he finally made it to the big show,” said Massey, who owns Little Caesar’s restaurants on Cable Road and Calumet Avenue. “What makes him so good is he’s doing what he loves. If you have a passion for what you’re doing, you’re twice as good at it.”

Massey said Watson has a “thousand-watt smile that everyone loves,” and that it’s not uncommon for customers and passers-by to hand him money or Kewpee hamburgers.

“I call him the richest man in Lima,” Massey said.

Back at work Tuesday, Watson was only a few minutes into his routine before he started getting honks and waves from drivers passing by the restaurant. He said in the past, he’s had children take pictures with him and ask for his autograph.

“I just love interacting with people and seeing their smiles,” Watson said. “It makes me smile inside.”

Despite his celebrity status, Watson said he doesn’t let it go to his head.

“I’m not a celebrity,” he said with a smile, “I’m just Terry.”

Lima, Ohio Refinery Explosed

I hope my city is not going to be the first zombie nation! A loud explosion at the Husky Lima Refinery shook Lima and the surrounding area early on Jan 10, 2015. Authorities said there’s no immediate danger to the area, although the fire continues to burn.

An isocracker at the refinery exploded around 6 a.m. While the isocracker continues to burn, the flames and fumes neighbors notice are strictly oil burning off and shouldn’t pose a threat to the environment or residents.

The company was “managing the situation” at 8 a.m. He said the fire started on a processing unit. All personnel had been accounted for, and there were no reported injuries, he said. There was one unrelated injury of a man with a head injury.

Sgt. Andy Green, of the Lima Police Department, said the fire was still burning, but residents should be safe if they remain in their homes. Traffic was restricted in all directions near the refinery, essentially from Fourth Street to Vine Street. Only emergency responders are allowed to approach, according to the Lima Police Department.

People as far away as Bluffton, Delphos and Wapakoneta reported feeling the rattle from the explosion, which woke many people in Lima. The explosion was worse than any other he’s dealt with in his 17 years as EMA director. That’s including the 2006 explosion of an oil tanker on Allentown Road. He noted that incident involve 10,000 gallons of fuel and this was “significantly more than that.”

One Arrested In Drug Raid

One person was arrested in Lima, Ohio after an investigation by the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force into sales of crack cocaine from a Lima residence. The task force, with the aid of the Lima Police Department SWAT team, executed a search warrant at 642 E. Third St., Lima.

During the search, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and two handguns were seized from the residence. Jamy L. Hogue, of Lima, was taken into custody during the search, as well. Hogue is being held at the Allen County Jail pending charges of drug trafficking. Other charges will be considered by the Allen County Grand Jury.
