Ariana Grande Receives Woman Of The Year

Sources report that Ariana Grande has been named Woman of the Year. Billboard just named the 25-year-old diva its Woman of the Year. Grande was on hand to receive the honor on Dec. 6.

Ariana Grande has had an incredibly successful year and on the heels of her Billboard 200 chart-topping fourth album Sweetener. “Ariana Grande is a star on her own terms, never bending to any particular musical trend or path in the industry.”

Certain in her convictions, she consistently stands up for herself and her decisions in a world that often isn’t hospitable to that sort of strength in young women. She’s got guts, she’s making some of the best music of her career, and she’s absolutely deserving of Woman of the Year.

Over the course of her career, Grande has claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart three times. Her latest chart-topper was August's Sweetener, home to the hits "No Tears Left to Cry" and "God Is a Woman" and scoring the largest streaming week ever for a pop album by a female artist upon its release.

Understanding Michael Jackson and R. Kelly's Hit "You Are Not Alone"

We need to teach our youth the true on were music they listen to comes from. I know Michael Jackson and R Kelly true fans know which song I am talking about. "You Are Not Alone" was one of Michael's greatest hits that was written by R Kelly himself.

The R&B ballad was written by American R&B singer R. Kelly for Michael Jackson in response to difficult times in his own personal life. Kelly sent a bare demo tape to Jackson, who liked the song and decided to produce it with him in Chicago.

The song was a commercial success. It holds a Guinness World Record as the first song in the 37-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 to debut at number one, and was later certified platinum by the RIAA.

Although the song was written by Kelly, Jackson was adamant that the production should be a collaborative effort among the two musicians. The tape sent to him had no harmony or modulations, so Jackson added a choir in the final portion and added a sense of climax and structure to the final piece.

R. Kelly recorded his own version of the song and put it on his critically acclaimed 2010 album Love Letter, he recorded it as a tribute to Jackson following his death. The song was a hidden bonus song on the album, shown as the final song on the album's track list. The song starts with Kelly paying tribute to Michael Jackson, saying "In loving memories of my hero... MJ".

Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone” is creepier and sadder than you think. The majority of Michael Jackson’s 13 chart-topping solo hits are more than mere songs. They’re audio companions to videos etched into the hearts and minds of those old enough to remember The King Of Pop during his mighty reign.

Lounging semi-nude on a temple set that looks like something out of a porno, or maybe an orientation film at a discount day spa, MJ and his bride cuddle and giggle yet never actually kiss. There’s obvious affection but zero sexual chemistry.

R. Kelly wrote “You Are Not Alone” especially for Jackson, and he even went so far as to imitate Jackson’s quavering vocals in his demo. But the most shocking allegation came from a woman named Lizzette Martinez, who said that Michael Jackson’s hit “You Are Not Alone,” written by Kelly, is based on the sexual relationship she and Kelly had when she was just a teenager.

Backup singer Jovante Cunningham didn’t confirm Martinez’s account, but she did say that Kelly’s songs are grounded in reality. “In hindsight, all of the songs, they’re real stories,” said Cunningham. “They’re about different people during those times and different situations that were occurring with him. So, ‘Your Body’s Callin’, ‘Sex Me’, those are real stories. ‘Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number.’ He meant that.”

Jeremih Or Jacquees

Although fans has made it known that Jacquees is not the "King of R&B" it does not stop us from comparing him to other R&B artist.

I'm sure we all can agree R. Kelly is out of Jacquees league, but what about comparing him to Jeremih? This seems to be a artist that's more on his level.

Although Jacquees net worth is a estimated $6 Million and Jeremih is only $2 Million, they seem to be on the same level when entertaining there fans.

Will The Feds Screw R. Kelly By Allowing The Medical Records Into The Case?

It seems as if the Feds are trying to use R. Kelly financial, and medical records to ensure his lock-up. The prosecutors have asked a judge to keep the materials under seal so that the process of poring over the evidence could be expedited.

R. Kelly is accused of racketeering and the sexual exploitation of children. He allegedly sexually exploited at least five girls and women since January 1999 in Illinois, California, New York, Connecticut and other States they claim.

Federal prosecutors did not provide any details as to exactly what is included in those materials other than they are financial and medical documents.

At the end of the day, these allegations have been swirling around for over 20 years so it seems more than likely that he is guilty of the crimes he's been accused of. Over the past few years, new allegations of the singer exposing his alleged victims to STDs have swirled around.

Aside from his medical records, the feds are digging up dirt on R. Kelly to make sure he's put behind bars. The government said they have bank statements, airline, Uber and hotel receipts that seem to prove the singer and his team flew girls from state to state.

Although he's maintained his innocence, not many others are buying it. His own crisis manager had to step down after saying he wouldn't leave Kelly alone with his daughter. However, Kelly is doing everything he can to come out victorious in the case.

R. Kelly's facing dozens of sex abuse charges right now after new indictments were unsealed last month. Kelly's facing both federal and state charges in relation to alleged sex crimes.

Will More R. Kelly Victims Come Forward?

Now that R. Kelly may be under investigation again, will there be more victims who come forward with allegations they they star had sex with them at the time they were under age? I have a strong feeling more will come forward.

Even I who live in Ohio have heard of the parties that goes down in Chicago at R. Kelly's mansion. Although R. Kelly is under investigation in Georgia,  the singer is not being investigated in Chicago, another place he's faced numerous abuse allegations.

Source

At press conference on Tuesday (Jan. 8), State Attorney Kim Foxx asked R. Kelly victims to come forward and contact her office. She said that the allegations raised in the docuseries were “deeply disturbing.” "I was sickened as a mother, I was sickened as a prosecutor.”

Foxx said that her office have already been talking to two families of alleged victims that had been in contact with the R&B singer within the last few years. Both victims are over the age of 18, she added.

Apparently, Georgia authorities have been contacting some of R. Kelly's alleged victims from the docuseries, including Asante McGee. If you recall, she reportedly escaped from Kelly's Georgia home where she lived as a member of an alleged cult.

Jaheim or Lyfe Jennings?

I was an instant fan of both R&B artist when they had there debut. While Jahiem made good loves songs, Lyfe Jennings hit fans with ghetto love songs that had a new touch.

Fans Favorites is now asking music lovers which of the two artist would you rate higher than the other? Which R&B singer had the best hits?

When Jaheim was 15, he entered one of African-American music's famous talent competitions—the Apollo Theater in New York's Harlem neighborhood.

He was signed by Naughty by Nature's Kaygee to Divine Mill Records in 2000, and released his debut album Ghetto Love in 2001.

After his release in late 2002, Lyfe Jennings first album, released in 2004, was "Lyfe 268-192," borrowing his inmate number for the title. He eventually moved to New York and later Atlanta.

Why Is Everyone Trying To Bring Down R. Kelly?

One thing that we all know for certain, no matter what happens to R. Kelly in court, his music will live on. He is locked up pending trial because he's been denied bail twice in the two federal cases, in New York and Illinois.

The R&B singer — who currently faces 18 federal charges related to the sexual abuse of girls and women — once again asserted his innocence, as he has for almost two decades. So why is everyone still after this man?

Since the three-night Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly” that delved into the singer’s history of alleged physical and emotional abuse of women aired, some viewers have been wondering about Kelly’s family, particularly his children. I mean they are all in this mans business.

R. Kelly did face trial on multiple charges of child pornography but he was acquitted on all counts in the past. So why are we having this discussion again? Have you seen or heard about the “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary, or the sexual abuse allegations against him? How has this news affected you or the way you now view R. Kelly?

While other celebrities might have tried to deflect the allegations, lawyers are turning down hundreds of thousands of dollars to take him on as a client.

Is The Media Turning R. Kelly Girlfriends Against Him?

It seems as if everyone is turning a blind eye to R. Kelly these days. One of R. Kelly's longtime live-in girlfriends has had enough of the circus surrounding his myriad of federal and state legal battles.

Azriel Clary tell us she recently got her own place in Chicago and is no longer living with Joycelyn Savage. We're told Azriel wanted to distance herself from the ongoing Kelly saga -- including Joycelyn's fake Patreon page -- and focus on her life.

Will R. Kelly Be Charged On Multiple Federal Indictments?

I'm just finding out that Sources from all over are reporting that R. Kelly may be indicted soon! The ongoing federal investigation into R. Kelly is close to wrapping up, and there’s a very good chance the singer will be battling dual indictments in both New York and Illinois.

We’re told a key group of those witnesses were from the family of girlfriend Joycelyn Savage, who met with the team of investigators and provided information and physical evidence, including plane tickets, text messages and photos.

Officials have been specifically interested in how Kelly and his associates allegedly bought plane tickets for underage girls and moved them around the country while he was performing.

The investigation has been led by officials with ICE Homeland Security Investigations, which is responsible for investigating crimes of human trafficking, sex trafficking and child exploitation.

We will do our best to keep you informed if more was to come up before the trial begins.

Could This Be The End Of R. Kelly Career?

Although he has made many hits and topped various charts, R. Kelly is still labeled a pedophile in most eyes. They will never get over the fact that it's true and he has not apologized for any of it.

Now that the Aaliya case has resurfaced, could the be the crushing moment in R. Kelly's career. Just like Bill Cosby, Tekashi 69, and Russel Simmons, this is damaging to loosing endorsers and more.

R. Kelly could see his career come to a halt just as quick as it started. He has a problem with stick him grown penis into our children on my personal note. The Wrap-Up Magazine loves the mans music, just not the ways he live by.

If his career loosing everything right at the end, this is karma in the making for him. Does he deserve jail time? Or just like many other, case are too old to close but the evidence is still there?

R. Kelly need help and it may be time for him to be held accountable for it. It's time to come out in public before this hits. I'm sure even white people would agree that this relationship was clear in ones eyes.

Kabir - Got Me Hooked #NowPlayingOnTWUM @AlwaysKabir

To understand Kabir, you first must understand that he is motivated by the confluence of two things: family and music. These two things are inextricable for someone raised as the heir to a formidable musical legacy; his paternal lineage includes the world-renowned group of Indian musicians, the Partap Brothers.

Growing up, he would often awake to the sound of the sitar, the drums, and his uncle’s singing voice—an informal education in the complex beauty of classical Indian sound. This fueled Kabir’s desire to carry on and evolve the Partap family’s musical tradition, reaching new audiences with his own blend of Pop and R&B.

Throughout high school, Kabir earned high marks and went on to graduate with a Business degree from Suny Geneseo, where he spent more time in music halls and practice rooms than on assigned classwork. Over the course of his adolescence, he developed an eclectic taste in music, spanning classical Indian styles, American classics like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, and Marvin Gaye, as well as genre-bending contemporary artists like Frank Ocean and Bruno Mars.

Watch out for Kabir’s first single, “Got Me Hooked,” written and produced by Damen Heyward and Juan “Majik” Peters.
