Trey Songz Turns Down Plea Deal

Trey Songz had an opportunity to have a felony assault charge he incurred during a post-concert meltdown, reduced to a misdemeanor, but rejected the plea deal it has been reported.

Fans will recall receiving the news that Trey went off on organizers at a Detroit show he was performing at in December when they cut the lights off on him. At the time, CNN reported that Trey "began throwing objects after the venue cut his concert short due to an 11:30 pm curfew." After destroying equipment on the stage, which he has since claimed belonged to him, he is said to have punched one of the city's police sergeants.

The sergeant eventually went to the hospital to be treated for a concussion, while Trey was hauled off to jail, where he remained for a short time on $25,000 bond. He with was charged with malicious destruction of property, resisting arrest and obstructing arrest. Those charges were eventually upgraded to include aggravated assault and felony assault on a police officer, causing injury.

The deal offered by prosecutors would have allowed the 32-year-old singer, born Tremaine Neverson, to plead guilty to one count of attempted resisting and obstructing charges and one count of aggravated assault. But he has remained headstrong in maintaining the not-guilty plea he initially entered during his arraignment before the Wayne County Circuit Court Judge.

Should the Grammy award winning singer be found guilty, he stands to face between four and five years behind bars. The plea bargain, which would compromise so that he only serves two years of probation, and undergoes anger management counseling and drug and alcohol screenings, is reportedly still on the table for Trey should he wish to avoid a trial where he risks of being sent away for a substantial period.

Eminem Disses Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Reese Witherspoon and More

The rapper dropped the 11-minute "Kick Off" late Friday night (Nov. 30), and he mentions Ariana Grande (while referring to the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester in May of 2017) and compliments Jada Pinkett Smith ("Told this chick she's hot as Jada Pinkett/And just stared 'til I made her think it").

The song comes in video form, with the visuals being shot at The Shelter at St. Andrew's in Detroit and it definitely finds Shady in battle rap mode. He released the video via Twitter stating, "The release of BODIED has me feeling nostalgic about battle rap so I headed down to my old stomping grounds."

Eminem raps about beating Witherspoon to death with a broom, and the third verse features a barb at Justin Bieber ("Justin Bieber in a Catholic school/Selling dust and reefer when your back is to him").

The Kamikaze MC raps for over 10 minutes and in that time period he spits about a plethora of subjects including Islamic terrorism and the infamous Manchester Arena bombing following Ariana Grande's show in 2017.

Regardless, there are plenty of familiar names to be found in the lyrics of "Kick Off," and Marshall Mathers' latest output falls in line with his many instances fo violently attacking women with his words.

The New Apple IPlane

During the meeting with President Trump and Kanye West, West suggested that Trump should fly on the ‘iPlane 1’, instead of the current Air Force One, a Boeing VC-25AS aircraft.

Following the meeting, the designer of the concept, Shabtai Hirshberg, told The Verge that Kanye’s words “completely caught [him] by surprise”.

The original design was posted back in 2012 and is called ‘Aerocruiser’. It was created as part of the Detroit-based designer’s master’s degree, with the project titled, “Redesign of a Commercial Aircraft for 2030”.

Hirshberg added that while Apple is not involved at this stage, he is currently working on a smaller version of the craft.

Mötley Crüe Sells 700,000 Tickets On It's First Weekend

The Stadium Tour featuring Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts has sold more than 700,000 tickets and grossed over $90 million at the box office in the first weekend of sales.

The tour, which is promoted by Live Nation, saw the fastest sellout in Miller Park history in Milwaukee. Additional shows sold out instantly in Atlanta, Seattle, Charlotte, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago and Denver. In response to the fan demand, seven new shows in San Antonio, Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati and Cleveland were announced.

Mötley Crüe made headlines in November when its members reneged on the cessation of touring agreement they entered into ahead of their farewell tour earlier this decade. Although Eminem makes a point to show love to Diddy at the end of the track saying, “Oh, and I’m just playin’, Diddy. You know I love you,” some Hip-Hop fans didn’t take too kindly towards the Tupac line.

Two Morons Arrested

A pair of teens from Roseville, Michigan were arrested on Friday [October 7], for dressing up as clowns and scaring two 14-year-old girls the day prior. Jaime Salinis, 18, and Elandra Sledge, 18, are behind bars this weekend after they jumped out of a car and shocked the girls as they walked down the 18000 block of Minnesota, near 13th Mile and Gratiot at around 9 p.m. Thursday night. According to reports, Salinis and Sledge, whom a spokesperson for the police department called "morons" and "idiots," allegedly chased their accusers while screaming.

Authorities in the metro Detroit area have promised to take extensive action against citizens who dress as clowns to carry out acts of intimidation. “These incidents create unnecessary hysteria, within our community, and threats and will not be tolerated,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement. “The Dearborn Police Department will pursue charges against any individual that deliberately commits an act that is designed to create fear or panic among our citizens.” The penalty for Salinis and Sledge was indeed exceptional, with 39th District Court Judge Catherine Steenland charging them with disorderly conduct, ordering them to be detained at Macomb County Jail and setting their bonds at $10,000 cash without a 10% option. A standard misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge is punishable by up to 90 days in jail or a $500 fine.  Their court date is set for October 20.

Law enforcement officers from around the nation have begun cracking down on clown-scare hoaxes, as several instances of violence have been reported to come from the encounters. Three clown related arrests were made in the Dearborn, MI area over the past week, with several other clown scare reports remaining under investigation.
