B.I.G. SUV Sells For $1.5 Million

One week after the BMW Tupac was shot in on the Vegas strip in 1996 was put on the market for $1.5 million, the SUV Biggie was murdered in in 1997 went up for sale for the same cost.

On Thursday, March 2, it was announced that the sale of the green GMC Suburban the Brooklyn rapper was riding shotgun in when a gunman pulled up alongside the vehicle and took his life in L.A. in 1997, has gone public. Its current owner divulged to TMZ that it was in seeing the price Tupac's car was valued at that she decided to test the market as well.

The owner originally came into possession of the vehicle seven months after B.I.G's murder on March 9 of that year. Ricky Harris Dies

Ricky Harris, a comedian known for both his racy stand-up act and his appearances in family-friendly fare such as the TV series “Everybody Hates Chris,” died Monday, his manager said. He was 54.

The cause was not immediately known. But Harris’ manager, Cindy Ambers of Art/Work Entertainment, said Harris had suffered a heart attack two years ago.

Fellow performers posted condolences on social media, including comedians Sinbad and Cedric the Entertainer — the latter of whom Tweeted: “Devastated!!! #RIP to the One and Only #RickyHarris.”

Harris, the son of a preacher, was raised in Long Beach. He made a name for himself as a performer on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam” in the 1990s with a pop culture-inflected routine that touched on subjects such as horror movie sound effects and movie sex.

He made his acting debut in the 1993 drama “Poetic Justice,” which starred Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur. Two years later he appeared in “Heat,” a heist film directed by Michael Mann.

Harris appeared on TV series such as “Moesha” and Chris Rock’s “Everybody Hates Chris,” where he played the charming neighborhood ne’er-do-well, Malvo. Other recent appearances included roles on the 2015 dramedy “Dope” and “The Tracy Morgan Show.”

Harris was also known for doing raunchy skits on the albums of rapper Snoop Dogg, a childhood friend from Long Beach. (The pair sang in their church choir together.)

Snoop Dogg posted a short, mournful video to Instagram calling the actor “my big brother, my homeboy” and a “Long Beach original” — saying that he was “on his way to heaven now.”

Harris is survived by his mother, his ex-wife and two daughters.

At the age of 13 Sip started to really go for the rap flow as this was the time when rappers like Bone Thugs and Twista was running the rap show, so at eight grade Sip start joining the cypher rapping even though it was just for fun at that time. By tenth grade Sip started to put the basketball down and go for the rapping thing even though from the delta in Mississippi was really hard to get heard. So then I had to move elsewhere just to connect with the right musicians.

after completing High School That's when i met Shockhouse Productions in Chicago, IL from a rapper name Sleepy Boy. He was forming this group called Face Off with 2 more fellas in the group, sleepy asked if i can join with the group even though i was with the group going to a month. After the situation with leaving the group he decided to go solo in the booth at The Shockhouse. Feeling like a real rapper in this booth Sip reply.

After that moment, thats when i started to link up with this Promoter and rapper Gansta Marcus. Sean Diddy Combs Retires After 1 More Album

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) The Bad Boy of hip hop is retiring from the rap game. The Bad Boys record mogul, who covers the June issue of Cigar Aficionado, told the magazine his last album will be “No Way Out 2,” the follow-up to 1997’s “No Way Out” featuring his best friend, the late Notorious B.I.G. The release date of his final work is unknown.

“I want to stop at a great place. And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time.” Diddy has starred in films such as “Training Day,” “Monster’s Ball,” “Get Him to the Greek” and “Rush Hour 4″ under his birth name, Sean Combs.

“When I’m gone, only the songs will survive. I know I’m making music that will live on. I don’t go into the studio just to be hot or to hear myself on the radio,” Diddy said in the interview. “Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie — part of them lives on in their music, even though they’re not here anymore. That’s really deep, man. The only thing like that is religion.”

His Bad Boy Family Reunion tour kicks off May 20 at the Barclays Center and will feature appearances by Jay Z, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, 112, Total, The Lox, and Carl Thomas.

Afeni Shakur Police Report

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) Afeni Shakur Davis, mother of late rap legend Tupac Shakur who was the subject of one of his most iconic songs and who oversaw his posthumous legacy, has died. She was 69 years old.

Marin County deputies responded to Shakur’s home in Sausalito, Calif., Monday night after she suffered a possible cardiac arrest, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday morning. She was taken to a local hospital and died just before 10:30 p.m.

In 2014, Shakur co-produced “Holler If Ya Hear Me,” a Broadway jukebox musical featuring her son’s works.

A movie about Tupac’s life, “All Eyez on Me,” is set for release in November, with Danai Gurira cast as Shakur. Shakur served as an executive producer for the film.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office will lead the investigation to determine the cause and manner of Shakur’s death.

Puff Daddy Announces Bad Boy Reunion

The “One Night Only” Bad Boy Family Reunion will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday, May 20th. Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, Mario Winans will come back together in honor of what would have been Notorious B.I.G.’s 44th birthday.

“This isn’t just another concert — This is hip-hop history,” said Sean “Diddy” Combs aka Puff Daddy. “The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. (The Wrap-Up Magazine) Rumors are that a former cop that's been investigating the Tupac death has reportedly cracked the case. The music mogul formerly known as Puff Daddy offered Crips member Duane Keith (Keffe D) Davis $1 million to whack Shakur and his manager, Suge Knight, former LAPD detective Greg Kading boldly alleged in a documentary, according to the Huffington Post.

Kading, who once led a task force investigating the shooting deaths of Shakur and Smalls, supposedly wrangled a confession out of Keffe D after the Crips member feared facing charges for a different crime. “If his intention was to just get away with it, so to speak, it would have been very easy for him to not include all the details that he did,” Kading told the Huffington Post.

Knight, 50, is currently serving jail time on charges he ran over two men with his truck, killing one, outside a Compton burger restaurant last January. The documentary in which Kading makes his case — called “Murder Rap” and based on a book he wrote in 2011 — will stream on Netflix this spring.
