Beyoncé Wins Trademark Battle Over Blue Ivy's Name.

The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) had no time for the efforts of a Massachusetts wedding planner to block Beyoncé in her quest to secure intellectual property rights. In a little-noticed ruling one week ago, Beyoncé won her ongoing trademark battle over her daughter’s name.

For years, Beyoncé has attempted to trademark her daughter’s name, Blue Ivy Carter. She’s filed applications that cover everything from books to pacifiers to shampoo to video games and much more. The problem, though, is that wedding planner Veronica Morales called her business “Blue Ivy Events” – even before Beyoncé’s daughter was born.

Beyonce Gives Positive Speech To 2020 Graduates

Beyoncé gave a moving speech for 2020 graduates over the weekend, telling them "real change has started with you."

"Congratulations to the class of 2020, you have arrived here in the middle of a global crisis, a racial pandemic and worldwide expression of outrage at the senseless killing of yet another unarmed Black human being. And you still made it, we're so proud of you," Beyoncé said in a video address as part of YouTube's "Dear Class of 2020" event.

"Thank you for using your collective voice and letting the worlds know that Black lives matter. The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and so many others have left us all broken. It has left the entire country searching for answers," she continued." We've seen that our collective hearts, when put to positive action, could start the wheels of change. Real change has started with you, this new generation of high school and college graduates who we celebrate today."

She went on to discuss the music industry's own biases and how that prompted her to start Parkwood Entertainment in 2010.

How Beyoncé And Jay-Z Fell In Love

Once upon a time, Jay Z and Beyoncé fell in love. But—when, exactly? At this point, it seems as though music’s preeminent power couple has been together forever, but there were actually several years where they kept the world at large guessing, denying their undying love while likely continuing to date under the rader (or—as under the radar as two famous people can be).

Though there are varying reports as to when exactly they first came face to face, but in 2007 Jay told Charlie Rose he met Bey “10 years ago,” or in 1997; Queen B told Seventeen a year later that “I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we first started dating.” So young! Beyoncé was born September 4, 1981, so that’d mean they met in late 1999 or early 2000. Since women have a better memory than men, we’d bet on Bey. (Jay was born December 4, 1969, which means he was about 30.)

What Would You Do If You Met Jay-Z?

How do you think it would feel or how would you act if you met one of the biggest and richest hip-hop stars in our generation Jay-Z?

We all know him as Jay-Z or Hova, but his real name is Shawn Corey Carter. Did you know? Jay-Z is the third best-selling rap artist of all time, after Eminem and Tupac with over 28m sales worldwide. Jay Z is one of the most well-known and highly-regarded rappers in the industry.

He’s also an extremely successful investor and businessman who’s a co-owner of the New York 40/40 Club, the clothing line Rocawear and is the former president of Def Jam Recordings, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and founder of Roc Nation. On top of all this, he’s also a certified NBA and MLB sports agent.

The Lifestyle Jay-Z And Beyonce Kids Live

It shouldn’t surprise any of us that the lives of Beyonce and Jay-Z are super lavish. They’re self-made billionaires who entertain the whole world! The couple collectively has a worth of over a billion dollars and they’re making money as we speak. Right now, they just made more money.

Can you believe that? But does it surprise you to know that their kids, Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir live lives SO luxurious that we’re all seriously jealous? Yeah, these kids have got it made.

They’re probably set for literally the rest of their lives thanks to their hard-working parents. Exclusive schools, sure. Fancy nurseries? Obviously! But it goes so much farther than that. They get to live in the many, MANY, homes that Beyonce and Jay-Z own all over the country, they get to take lavish vacations, and they don’t lift a finger.

The Insanely Lavish Lifestyle Of Mariah Carey

When it comes to reigning pop divas, no-one wears the crown like Mariah Carey. The singer has developed a reputation for living luxuriously, and we can’t say we blame her. After such a successful career, she’s earned the right to a lavish lifestyle.

With record sales of around 200 million, there are only a few people in the world who have shifted as many albums as Mariah. No-one could have anticipated that she’d become quite so successful when she made her debut in the ‘90s.

Wendy Williams Talks Beyoncé, Jay Z, And National Anthem

Wendy Williams kicked off her show with “Hot Topics,” which is a segment based on the latest celebrity news and gossip. Of course, there was plenty to say about the Super Bowl. Williams said she liked the halftime show overall and felt that both women did a great job. Ultimately, though, she felt Jennifer Lopez “won” the show. She said Lopez’s more glamorous look and dance moves are what sold her.

Williams condemned Jay Z and Beyoncé for sitting during the National Anthem. It was hard for people not to notice that two of the world’s biggest stars didn’t stand for the National Anthem. When Demi Lovato sang the Star Spangled Banner, most everyone stood up with their hands over their hearts. But the Carters did not.

The Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show took place on February 7, 2016, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California as part of Super Bowl 50. It was headlined by the British rock group Coldplay with special guest performers Beyoncé and Bruno Mars.

Beyoncé Inks Deal With Sony/ATV Music Publishing

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have worked closely for much of their careers with Jon Platt, who took the reins at the Sony Music company as chairman and CEO in 2019. Platt already brought Rihanna over to his new home last fall, after moving to Sony/ATV from Warner/Chappell earlier in the year.

Jay-Z called Platt his “brother” and said he was “the Obama of the music industry” when the publishing exec was the honoree at the annual City of Hope Spirit of Life dinner in October 2018. “This man has worked his way up from a Denver DJ to be the highest-ranking black executive,” he said.

Jay-Z Returns To Spotify Music

Rap icon Jay-Z brought his music discography back to the world’s largest streaming platform Spotify, leaving Tidal subscribers scratching their heads. The Insanely Lavish Lifestyle Of Beyoncé And Jay-Z

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the closest thing there is to royalty in the U.S. While they didn't grow up with silver spoons, they've earned unparalleled success in their careers. And now that they're on top of the world, they are living their best lives. Here's a look at this music mogul couple's glamorous life.

Also: Updates on Jay-Z Lifestyle

In order to gain some context on Beyoncé and Jay-Z's super lavish lifestyle, it first helps to understand how much cash they have and how they keep it coming in. So just how much dough are we talking about? According to Forbes, the Carters are worth roughly $1.4 billion dollars as of mid 2019.

Beyoncé herself is only worth a mere $400 million compared to her husband's $1 billion, but that doesn't tell the full story. The Queen's income comes mostly from her album sales and concert earnings, which tend to be larger than her husband's. Conversely, Jay-Z earns his income mostly as a result of his investments, such as his significant ownership over the streaming company Tidal. Obviously, both celebs know their strengths and play to them well.

Also: More on Beyonce Lifestyle

So now you know what  means when she talks about her great-great grandchildren already being rich, as she did on the track "Boss" from her joint album with Jay, Everything Is Love.

Jay-Z Charts His 100th Song On The Hot 100

Jay-Z lands yet another minor hit, and though the song probably won’t stick around for very long, it’s become a very important one for the rapper.

“Mood 4 Eva” marks Jay-Z’s one hundredth solo Hot 100 appearance under that moniker, which is something only a few musical acts have ever managed. In fact, the rapper is now just the sixth musician to appear on the all-genre songs ranking 100 times.

Jay-Z And Beyonce Had The Best Album In 2018

Jay-Z was the man to recon with when him and Beyonce released there joint album "Everything Is Love." Both Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been nominated for Album of the Year several times on their own.

What Everything Is Love represents, then, is an opportunity — not just for JAY and Beyoncé, the most powerful couple in popular culture, but for the Grammy Awards as an institution.

The make-good angle is clear as day: neither Beyoncé nor JAY-Z has won an album of the year award, despite being two of the most lauded musical artists of this century, and Everything Is Love offers a way to right both wrongs in one fell swoop.

They say it's a marathon, not a sprint. But for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, it was both. Their sprawling On the Run II Tour finished with $253.5 million in ticket sales. The On the Run II tour more than doubled Bey and Jay's previous tour in terms of overall gross and ticket sales.

The hip-hop megastar is now on the same level as four of the biggest names who have ever reached the No. 1 spot on the albums chart. The album's sales increased by 397 percent and moved a total of 94,000 units to earn a No. 1 spot on the charts. Fans have been thirsty for the new release ever since Beyoncé's 2016 album “Lemonade,” which sold more than 2.5 million copies.

Drizzy previously entered this list when he went on tour with Future for their Summer Sixteen tour. The duo accumulated $5 million more than the 6 God did with the Migos, but that could be because they played for 11 more dates.

Ja Rule and Ashanti Realeases "Encore"

The Murder Inc. rapper and singer share undeniable chemistry on the breezy, Cheryl Lynn-inspired track, which they’ve been previewing during their live shows. Rule even pays homage to JAY-Z’s 2003 classic off The Black Album. “Can I get an encore? Do you want more?” he asks. “Your good love deserves an encore,” sings Shanti.

The long overdue collaborative project by Ja Rule and Ashanti is expected to be on the way, and this week fans got a teaser with the leaked song “Encore.” Back in June, Ja and Ashanti revealed that they were plotting a joint album, inspired by JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s Everything Is Love. “I think we should do one of these joint albums,” tweeted Ja.
