Protesters Shut Down I-80

Races from all over America is boycotting business and traffic movement in and out of the city. More than 1,000 protesters marched for hours on city streets, shutting down Interstate 80 and stopping a train in the third night of demonstrations Monday over police killings in Missouri and New York. They confronted a line of police officers in riot gear outside police headquarters before heading to a BART train station, prompting authorities to close it. Protesters then headed west on University Avenue, a four-lane divided street to shut down Interstate 80 in both directions.

Some protesters managed to get around officers and onto the freeway but were forced back. Then protesters retook the highway, halting traffic in both directions. Dozens of protesters also marched to the railroad tracks, blocking an Amtrak train. A protester held up a sign “Black lives matter” in front of the stopped train.

The protests were peaceful in contrast to Sunday night when some protesters vandalized and looted businesses, lit garbage cans on fire and blocked a nearby freeway despite calls from many in the crowd for a “peaceful protest.”

Ricky Allan Martin was reportedly heading northbound on Interstate 29 when the highway patrol flagged him down. The officer requested to search Martin's vehicle which he said was rented in the "Nevada-California" area. Police grew further suspicious after his inability to provide the documentation proving when and where the vehicle was rented.

The 61-year-old was arrested and charged with first-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Garth Brooks Makes A stand For Ferguson

Country music star Garth Brooks canceled scheduled media appearances this week, saing it would be in poor taste to promote his comeback album during national protests after a grand jury did not indict a white policeman in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager.

Brooks, 52, canceled appearances on NBC’s late-night “The Tonight Show” and the morning “Today” show as well as daytime talk show “Live with Kelly and Michael” and National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.”

The St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, has been hit by two nights of unrest after the grand jury’s decision not to indict police officer Darren Wilson after shooting 18-year-old Michael Brown in August 2014. Gansta Marcus Speaks On Ferguson, Florida And Ohio Police Brutality

Lima, Ohio producer and website owner of The Wrap-Up Magazine decides to release several new tracks earlier this week. On included a track to speaks of dead teenager Trayvon Martin and Edward Wade. Its about time that a rapper talk more that just prejudice. Listen to the words in the song and check out this writen interview of what Nieman Marcus feels on whats going on in the world.

Federal charges unlikely for Darren Wilson in Ferguson case, officials say. Its sad that this man could not be charged at all in any case. I understand that he is a cop and its a high risk to lock him up, but a charge with at least parole with a guilty conviction is a option that could have taken place.

"The black community members that caused and supported these riots that took place helped to cause this conviction to go free." Ferguson is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

Not only is this is just happening in Ferguson, but also in many various states across the United States. Ohio is no better joining in on the cause of police power. Florida really started the statement that is invloving into a movement with Trayvon Martin.

Two police officers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries recently in Ohio. While just before that releasing the 911 calls and the full surveillance video of the confrontation and fatal shooting of a 12-year-old Ohio boy, The biggest problem that I see in Ohio is not only the prison system, but also local county jail sytems. They don't care if the jail are full and have minor convictions, inmates can sleep on concrete floors exposed to any condition that is at hand.

There is just too much going on in the world. Both sides of color need to put down all protest, police set down all weapons, and raise their hands for a change. Lets all march for a better world standing together no matter how much it hurts.

February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, United States, George Zimmerman fatally shot Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African American high school student. Thousands then filled college field houses to hear Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin. Trayvon Martin was shot and killed as he walked to a family member's home from a convenience store.

Mike Brown Memorial Burned

Rumors are that a memorial honoring Michael Brown that lay just feet from where the unarmed teen was shot and killed in Ferguson, Missouri last month was burned early on Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The Ferguson Fire Department received a call around 6:45 a.m. about a fire on Canfield Drive. When fire fighters arrived they found the burning memorial which residents had erected in Brown’s honor. Firefighters extinguished the flames. For more than a month people had lit candles, laid cards and balloons and tied balloons to the memorial.

The memorial was one of two at the scene of the Aug. 9 shooting, this one erected around a telephone pole, the other in the center of Canfield Drive where Brown fell after being shot about a half-dozen times by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson after a brief struggle between the two. Police say Wilson shot Brown after the teen reached for the officer’s gun. Witnesses say Wilson shot at Brown as he tried to run away and fired the fatal gunshots as Brown turned with his hands up in surrender.

In the weeks after Brown was killed, protesters calling for justice in the teen’s death would begin or end marches at the very location he took his last breaths. Much of the early angst over Brown’s killing was a result of how law enforcement officials treated his body after the shooting. They left his remains uncovered in the middle of the street for more than four hours, baking in the afternoon sun for all to see.

The Michael Brown Case

Although there were five charges officer Darren Wilson was facing for the murder of Michael Brown, no indictment charges were filed against him. A Missouri grand jury has decided not to indict Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson in the August 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch said.

Brown’s father is “devastated” that Wilson will not face charges. After an “exhaustive review,” the jurors deliberated for two days. The grand jurors are “the only ones who have heard all the evidence. While protesters chanted late Monday for an indictment in the shooting death of Michael Brown, officials called for calm as the world awaits word of the grand jury’s decision.

Protesters were gathering outside the police department in Ferguson. Darren Wilson, a white police officer with the department, shot and killed Brown, a black teenager, on August 9 2014. The grand jury’s decision on whether to indict Wilson will be announced at about 8 p.m. (9 p.m. ET).

Members of the National Guard will be in the area to provide security at firehouses, police stations and utility substation. Brown’s death ignited a national debate on race and law enforcement. Nowhere was the tension more evident than in the predominantly black town of Ferguson, which has a mostly white police department and town government.

Supporters of Brown’s family back witness accounts that Wilson fired while Brown, 18, had his hands up in surrender. Wilson’s supporters say that Brown was the aggressor and had tried to take Wilson’s gun while he was in his vehicle and that the officer fired in self-defense.

KKK Imperial Wizard Found Dead

The body of a Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard was found lifeless on the bank of a Missouri river on Saturday, February 11. Frank Ancona, 51, of Leadwood, MO. had been missing for four days leading up to the discovery.

The body of Frank Ancona, 51, Imperial Wizard of the Traditional American Knights of Ku Klux Klan, was discovered Saturday on the bank of Big River outside of Belgrade, Mo., four days after he went missing from his Leadwood, Mo., home.

The last time anyone had seen Ancona was on Wednesday, when Ancona's wife said he received a call from work informing him he would have to travel across the state to carry out a task. His vehicle was found on a Federal Forestry service road on Friday night, and was taped off until morning, when authorities from the sheriff's office searched the area. Ancona's carcass was discovered by a family while enjoying a fishing trip.

An investigation into his death is ongoing. What authorities do know is that Ancona didn't immediately report him missing because he left the home with some clothes after an argument that sparked when she asked him for a divorce. It appears as though Ancona also took a heap of firearms that he had, as the safe he kept them in does appear to have been forced open but police do not suspect burglary. Police are not aware of the location of the weapons at this present time.

Ancona is known for being one of the KKK leaders to mobilize members to counter protesters of the Michael Brown killing in 2014. The divisive nature of the event is cited by many as having been used as a recruitment tool by Ancona and other white supremacist groups.
