Amanda Bynes Calls Kid Cudi Ugly

Amanda just might be passing up LiLo when it comes to plummetting public perception, especially in light of the celeb’s recent rant targeting ex-boyfriend and The Voice guest star Kid Cudi. She feels that she has been unfairly attacked — both in words and in the posting of photos she perceives to be unflattering (never mind the far less flattering pictures she herself has posted to her Twitter account). 

All this frustration has come out in the form of angry Twitter posts, the most recent of which was targeted at Complex Media. In a long Twitter rant, the celeb complained at length about “fake articles,” demanding that these pieces be taken down immediately.

Complex Media’s negative coverage of the celeb is largely a result of the publication being “d*** whipped” by hip hop artist Kid Cudi, referred to as Amanda’s “ugly ex.” Amanda complained at length about Complex constantly quoting the “ugly duckling” and taking professional shots of him for their featured covers. Airplane Crashes At San Francisco Airport

An Asiana Airlines flight from Seoul crashed on landing at San Francisco’s airport Saturday. It was not immediately known if there were casualties. Initial images from the scene showed smoke billowing from the plane and emergency exits open from the plane’s fuselage.

The plane was a Boeing 777, FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford said. It crashed on runway 28L at San Francisco International Airport. Laura Brown, spokeswoman for the FAA in Washington, said Asiana Flight 214 from Seoul was attempting to land at San Francisco International Airport when it crashed.

Trayvon Martin’s Mother On Stand

Fulton and Tracy Martin, Trayvon Martin’s father, have been present every day of the trial and endured testimony about the shooting and their son’s wound that at times have prompted them to abruptly leave the courtroom. Trayvon Martin’s mother took the stand this morning in the murder trial of George Zimmerman, who faces second degree murder charges for shooting the teenager last year.

Moments before she began her testimony, Sybrina Fulton tweeted, “I pray that God gives me strength to properly represent my Angel Trayvon. He may not be perfect but he’s mine. I plead the blood of Jesus for healing.” Zimmerman, 29, maintains he shot the unarmed teenager in self-defense after he was confronted and attacked by Martin, 17, on Feb. 26, 2012. Prosecutors allege the former neighborhood watch captain profiled, followed and then shot Martin as he was walking back to the residence where he was staying as a guest.

A major point of contention in the trial is who is heard screaming for help in the background of 911 tapes the night Martin was killed. Fulton claims it is Trayvon Martin screaming, while Zimmerman’s father insists that it is his son’s voice that is heard. The prosecution hopes that Fulton’s testimony will have an emotional and convincing impact on the jury and that the jurors will tie her words to the opinion of FBI audio expert Hirotaka Nakasone who testified earlier in the trial that it was not technically possible to identify the voice.

Doctor Busted Beating Patient

A 30-second video clearly shows a verbal argument between a doctor and the tethered patient at the Federal Cardo-Surgery Centre in the industrial city. The experienced doctor was caught on camera twice viciously beating a heart patient as he lay tied to an intensive care bed. The defenceless patient died soon afterwards and the medic, Andrey Votyakov, blamed his frenzied attack on exhaustion after a busy 24-hour shift.

Then the doctor hits out, striking the patient first on the head and soon afterwards in the area of his heart.

He was evidently unaware that his brutal attack – which has now cost him his job – was being filmed on a camera focused on the patient’s bed.
