Woman Kills Cheating Husband

Tyra Holmes, 26, found texts from other women on Michael Holmes’ cell phone. The woman woke her husband up with the same hand that would take his life. She called one of the numbers, but got no response. At the top of the staircase, he tried to embrace her, presumably to put the feud to rest. But Tyra Holmes raised the blade to her ear and plunged it into his chest. “You stabbed me,” he said. The couple exchanged “I love you’s.” He died later in the hospital.

Holmes was arrested for the first-degree murder of Michael Holmes. She is being held without bond. Michael Holmes’ sister said that he was not in a relationship with anyone else and was good to her and his kids.

Holmes initially told investigators that she blacked out after raising the knife to threaten him in their Plantation, Fla. apartment. Later she admitted to stabbing her husband and not being able to control herself.

Foxy Brown Falls On Stage Video

Brooklyn artist +Foxy Brown had a slip up on stage while performing at Gay Pride weekend in NYC. Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown was debuting her new single on Friday night at El Morocco in Harlem, when her performance was abruptly cut short.

Foxy actually had the crowd really feeling her, but things plummeted before she could get through her first verse. Foxy was looking at the crowd as she took one step too far and fell hard right off the stage. You can actually catch a few people in the crowd go "Holy sh*t!"

Barack Obama Visits Nelson Mandela's Prison Cell

+Barack Obama and his family is paying tribute to the ailing 94-year-old Mandela throughout the day. The president and his family were visiting Robben Island, where the anti-apartheid leader spent 18 years confined to a tiny cell. They also made a stop at the lime quarry where Mandela toiled and developed the lung problems that sent him to the hospital.

The White House said Obama’s guide during the tour was 83-year-old South African politician Ahmed Kathrada, who also was held at the prison for nearly two decades and guided Obama on his 2006 visit to the prison as a U.S. senator. The president also saw the prison courtyard where Mandela planted grapevines that remain today

Ohio Cops Using Fake Checkpoints

Police in the city of 19,000 recently posted large yellow signs along Interstate 271 that warned drivers that there was a drug checkpoint ahead, to be prepared to stop and that there was a drug-sniffing police dog in use. Police in the Cleveland suburb of Mayfield Heights know they’re not allowed to use checkpoints to search drivers and their cars for drugs. There was no such checkpoint, just police officers waiting to see if any drivers would react suspiciously after seeing the signs.
