Introducing the Concept of Candy Pickles to the World

Entrepreneurs are people who establish new businesses by developing and implementing unique ideas. They take risks to create and manage profitable businesses by utilizing limited resources. Entrepreneurship typically starts with an idea or concept for a product or service that motivates an individual to transform that idea into a profitable business.

However, many businesses fail during the initial stages because entrepreneurs cannot go through with their ideas or lack the skills, expertise, and experience to take a company to new heights. Innovation is also essential for successful entrepreneurship because new products and innovations are necessary for a successful business. Entrepreneurs develop and run businesses with limited resources while fulfilling market demands and customer needs.

Become Someone Not Anybody

I do my best in the community I reside in to tell our youth to "Become Someone Not Anybody". There is enough stupid things going on in the world for people to not learn and advance themselves. Becoming an entrepreneur has less to do with what you know and what your experiences are, and everything to do with what you are willing to do to succeed.

You don’t need permission. You don’t need to have experience in startups. You don’t need to have a revelatory experience where the clouds part and you are blessed with the mother of all business ideas. You don’t need a million dollars. You don’t need rich friends or family to back you. You don’t need to be a genius, and you don’t need perfect timing.

The folks that just won’t hack it as entrepreneurs are most often the ones that are not actually willing to do the work. This usually means that they don’t have sufficient intrinsic motivation. They start a business for the wrong reasons. They start with unrealistic expectations, and find that it’s too hard or too difficult, and then drop out.

Top 3 Signs You're Standing In Your Own Way

Here are five signs you're getting in your own way to success and how to move over and let yourself be the best you can be at anything.

1. You're unable to complete a task:
Some entrepreneurs just cannot finish, it doesn't matter how much time they have or how many resources are available. Maybe it's the fear that their final product could be better, or they're worried it isn't perfect.

2. You micro-manage everything:
Unsuccessful entrepreneurs want to do everything themselves. They don't believe anyone else can get a job done as well as they can. If you want to grow your business and become a leader, you're going to have to learn to trust others. Everyone needs a support team.

3. You're always right:
If you fail to acknowledge a mistake, you miss out on a learning opportunity. Mistakes are stepping stones to success. Ask for advice and admit when you're wrong.

Do You Think Outside The Box

Youth Entrepreneurship Summit is pushing young people to think outside the box. Here are a few tips that we have learned along the way that have aided us in getting outside the box:

1.  Identify the issue.

2.  Determine whether a regular or typical solution to the problem exists.

3.  If one does, you’re done. If no, map out everything that went into creating the issue. In this aspect, be expansive. Include everything possible.

4.  Once you start mapping out the issue more completely, start looking for ways to  address the situation in one of the more outlying areas that was not considered  previously.

5.  Never dismiss a possible solution on the basis, “It simply cannot be done.” Consider everything. Go through every possibility until you know for a fact it can or cannot be done.

Teach yourself to look at problems more expansively. Never be dismissive of a potential solution before you have thoroughly thought it through. In thinking outside the box we began looking at how did the opponent acquire their trademark rights they are now asserting against us?
‘Think outside the box’ is one of the biggest creativity cliches. The basic idea is that to be creative you need to challenge your own assumptions and look at things from a fresh angle. You need to break out of conventional thinking and take off the blinkers formed by past experience.

Opportunities are out there for young entrepreneurs and Y.E.S. is a great way to create discussion with those just starting out as well as others who’ve turned ideas into reality. “Anything can happen but if you really want to put your mind to it and see change happen it has to start with you.”

The Underwater Pod For Yachts

British studio Gresham Yacht Design has recently introduced the next best thing in yacht design with their Hydrosphere, an underwater viewing platform that fits up to seven people and lowers from underneath the bottom of the vessel in minutes in order to observe passing sea life.

The Hydrosphere can be deployed while the yacht is in motion (in speeds up to two knots), and exterior lighting illuminates the surrounding water, which allows for both day and night use. Also, unlike personal submarines or other submersibles that require a specialist or pilots to drive and deploy, the Hydrosphere operates simply and quickly at the push of a button.

Key Moments In Hip-Hop History

Hip hop is more than music; it’s a cultural movement that incorporates different elements of art. Before there was Lil Yachty, Young M.I.A., or YNW Melly, there was a world of hip hop artist who's name rain supreme even still today.

Back when music was real, artist had the opportunity to shine in their own distinctive way. Rap is one of the most distinctive features of hip-hop. Rappers use rhythm, lyrics, and vocal tone to express themselves. The best rappers are distinguished by their “flow” – the way the words run together without the performer getting tongue-tied.
