Recently, Nicki Minaj dropped her ‘Queen’ album, which ended up debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The person who beat out Nicki was Travis Scott with his ‘Astroworld’ album. Because of that, Nicki Minaj went to social media to air out her issues with sales and also single out Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner.

She didn’t stop there though, saying “I looked at the numbers the Carters, Kanye, Nas, etc recently did. Travis sold 200K in his first week of clothes alone. I spoke to him last night & he said he’s been selling clothes b4 the music. Billboard says they’ll change the rules cuz of this, so it should be changed now!”

The 64-year-old father of rapper Nicki Minaj has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Long Island, police said. Robert Maraj was walking along a road in Mineola at 6:15 p.m. Friday when he was hit by a car that kept going, Nassau County police said. Maraj was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead Saturday.

"We just saw a jacket ripped open, cut open, trying to make sure the man had a pulse," she said. "All I hoped for was the person to have a pulse and survive. I'm speechless. I don't know what to say."

Nicki Minaj’s Brother Indicted

A grand jury has indicted Jaleni Maraj for raping a 12-year-old girl. He has been charged with felony predatory assault against a child, among others. Jaleni Maraj, the brother of Nicki Minaj, has been indicted for raping a 12-year-old girl, reports Bossip upon obtaining previously unseen court records. He had been arrested for the alleged crime in December and was released the same day on $100,000 bail, which was reportedly put forth by Minaj.

A grand jury had been deliberating the accusations made against Maraj for about a month before making the decision to indict him on April 4. The indictment means Maraj has officially been charged with felony predatory assault against a child, felony sexual conduct against a child under age 13, sexual conduct against a child, and endangering the welfare of a child.

If convicted solely on the charge of felony predatory assault against a child, Maraj will face upwards of 15 years in prison as well as the possibility of a life sentence.

Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga say they got screwed by Birdman just like Lil Wayne did, as least that’s what Lil Wayne claims in new legal docs. Lil Wayne now claims in his bitter lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, he has letters from Drake and Tyga’s people claiming they got stiffed out of a fortune. And Nicki’s people say in a separate letter her producers also got shortchanged by Young Money, and Wayne says it’s Cash Money’s responsibility to pay producers.

As you know, Lil Wayne runs Young Money, whose stable of artists include Drake, Nicki and Tyga. Cash Money is the parent company of Young Money, and Birdman is the big boss. The allegations of Cash Money’s financial shenanigans are massive. Young Money clams it was supposed to get a big chunk of a $100 million advance from Universal, an advance that went directly to Cash Money, and they’re still waiting.

But Cash Money says Wayne and company are full of it. They gave him a $20 million advance for Young Money in 2012, another $12 million for Wayne’s solo album and another $70 million in advances, royalties, marketing and recording costs for various Young Money artists.
