50 Cent Gets New Late Night Show

BET is bringing a late night show to fans of sketch comedy, and 50 Cent will be its producer, host, and namesake.

50 first announced the coming of 50 Central through a vague Instagram post last week. On Sunday, April 30, followers got a broader insight into what the production might look like, with him posting a teaser in which he touts it as "a platform that allows us to get all those hidden talents out in the open." In the caption of the post 50 makes mention of inviting some of the trendy content makers and breakers around social media on for a chance at fame.

"Expect the unexpected. It's me having freedom. That's a different type of comedy, it's a little more edgier than the things you've seen in the past, and BET at night, they're going to let me to do what I've gotta do," he says.

BET has been on a hot streak so far as news of the various new productions viewers can expect to see coming to fruition over the next year or two, goes. Only days ago the network announced that it will be following up on the success of The New Edition Story with a drama series based on the life of Bobby Brown, and a documentary on Death Row Records. 50 has been no slouch himself, continuing to branch off of his Starz network Power fame with new deals, including his agreement with Sony to produce two new crime drama series' [Oath and RPN] for its Crackle streaming platform.

50 Cent To Produce Two New T.V. Drama Series

Rapper, actor and producer 50 Cent isn't stopping. He has connected with Sony Pictures Television’s streaming network Crackle to executive produce two crime-themed drama series.

"Curtis, G-Unit Film & Television Inc., Storied Media Group and Joe Halpin are the perfect team to take this extraordinarily fast-paced and complex narrative to Crackle's passionate and engaged audience. This is the kind of unexpected storytelling that our viewers have come to expect and we look forward to breaking new ground with this new original drama,” said Eric Berger, Crackle’s GM and EVP Digital at Sony Pictures Television Networks.

In addition to "The Oath", 50 Cent will also executive produce an hour-long original drama series “RPM” (working title). Written by Leo Sardarian, the crime drama is set in the working-class streets of Boston’s most corrupt neighborhoods following a used-car salesman who starts moonlighting as a getaway driver for a crime syndicate. "RPM" is produced by Adam Riback, Nick Phillips and Kelly Wagner.

Will Hudson Bay Buy Neiman Marcus?

I don't know how true it is, but Canada's Hudson's Bay Co., widely reported to be in talks to acquire Macy's Inc., may also be interested in luxury retailer Neiman Marcus. Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus says it's exploring strategic alternatives.

The Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board currently owns 50 per cent of the company, with private equity firm Ares Management as an equal partner. Neiman Marcus disclosed it is exploring strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of the company. Neiman Marcus scuttled plans for an initial public offering in January, as the retailer grapples with slowing sales.

Macy’s market cap, at just shy of US$9.4 billion, is more than five times the value of Hudson’s Bay, though the latter has forecast its real estate assets hold as much as $14.2 billion in value.

50 Cent Talks Amber Rose

50 Cent is not mad at all that Amber Rose would bring his name up during her late-night VH1 show, especially while plugging his wildly successful "Power" television series, even if it is to tell a fabricated story. That much he said during a recent visit to Big Boy's Neighborhood while setting the record straight that the brief conversation she claimed he had started with her, about getting the Muva maven on the Starz show, never happened.

"Look, Amber's show I think is interesting," 50 responded when asked about the alleged encounter. "She says some wild stuff on there. You know, like when she talked about me communicating with her about the project... I never talked to her."

During last week's airing of The Amber Rose Show, Amber spoke about bumping into 50 Cent and having been made a random proposition. According to Rose, 50 asked her to get on board with his production but only gave her 60 seconds to make a decision. She went on to put her dilemma out to the audience, reminding them how difficult it would be to simply commit to something so time-consuming when you've got a child. 50, whom it is reported, recently promised Chris Brown a role on the show doesn't recall ever affording her the same opportunity but said that he is glad she incorporated a bit of the show's buzz on her platform.

50 Cent And Cam'ron Squash Beef

The beef between 50 Cent and Cam'ron is like water under the bridge for the two rappers who recently caught up in New York. 50 shared a photo of him and Cam sharing a laugh with the caption, "I said Cam I would talk to you like you ain't got money, if I didn't see them big ass knot's in ya pockets."

Back in 2011, Cam'ron spoke on his past beef with 50 Cent, as he told MTV, "I don't have no problem with 50. 50 cool with me. It was good for hip-hop. Bieber has resurfaced on Hip Hop's radar over the past week with him showing up Taylor Swift while face timing with Kanye West early Tuesday. The Instagram photo he posted of this time with Ye would draw 150k comments by the day's end.

Bieber's rock star attitude was scrutinized earlier in the year when he made it known that he would no longer sign autographs or take random selfies with fans in public. Those conditions would allegedly lead to his confrontation with a fan whose request for a signature he'd reject and would up exchanging blows with in Cleveland in early June.

Back in 2014, 50 Cent lost a $1 million bet with Webbie over the Terence Crawford/Yuriorkis Gamboa boxing match, which Webbie spoke about during an exclusive interview with VladTV. When asked about settling the bet, the Baton Rouge rapper said that he and 50 Cent worked everything out, and Webbie added that he would be out looking for someone if the debt wasn't settled.

During the conversation, Webbie also revealed that he has recently experienced seizures, that he claims have led to some memory loss. When speaking about his friendship with the late rapper Pimp C, Webbie said he was having trouble recalling memories from their interactions.

50 Cent alluded to Loon, Ma$e, G Dep, Shyne and even the Notorious B.I.G. “dancing with the devil.” The posts appear to be promo for his EFFEN Vodka brand which he markets by competing fiercely with Puffy’s Ciroc. However, the “I’m the Man” rapper took it pretty far this time.

All of us have competitors, whether it's someone who is pumping out a similar product, or someone who wants to snag our top job candidate. Whatever the competition, we want to win. Be known in the marketplace as the company with the fun group of professionals who are not only intelligent and hardworking, but who are nice and empathetic.

Find opportunity where competition fell short. If prospective clients share how they've been burned in the past, show proof of how your company excelled. Make your company a one-stop shop for customers. For instance, if customers use your product or service as one part of a larger process, consider offering those other points of that process.

Be selfless and offer expert knowledge and suggestions. Building rapport early is key to not only facilitating communication, but building a credible reputation. Deflecting that sale and giving up half a million dollars may seem crazy now, but circumstances can change and they could be a $50 million client five years down the road because of that built trust.

Picture being in their shoes and develop a sense of empathy. Would you want to receive three calls from the same person in one week? Or would a hand-written letter make more of an impact? Being respectful of a person's time and treating them like an actual human rather than a sale can go a long way.

Have good posture. Experts say that first impressions are based on 60 per cent non-verbal communication and 40 per cent verbal. Whether you want to stand out at an interview or get noticed by a member of the opposite sex, just hear me out and follow the directions.

Puff Daddy Announces Bad Boy Reunion

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) The Bad Boy Reunion tour has been talked about for almost a year now and today, Puff Daddy aka Diddy has announced the first show of the potential tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The “One Night Only” Bad Boy Family Reunion will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday, May 20th. Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, Mario Winans will come back together in honor of what would have been Notorious B.I.G.’s 44th birthday.

“This isn’t just another concert — This is hip-hop history,” said Sean “Diddy” Combs aka Puff Daddy. “The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time – Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there.”
