Astrology seems to be a more popular topic than ever, as more and more people research what may happen in their futures and learn more about personality traits of their star sign. As The Atlantic noted, astrology never went away, but with the internet, it has become increasingly easier to look up zodiac signs. For example, the app Stardust is known for tracking women's menstrual cycles, as well as telling the user what's in store for them based on their star sign. Zodiac compatibility has also taken flight in popularity, as people determine whether or not they are compatible with their current (or future) significant others. This interest has also inspired us to look up the signs of celebrities — and their significant others.

The Air Force Is Working To Create The First HBCU Research Center

 


According to an Air Force release, the agency is also soliciting HBCU schools with high-research activity ratings to apply. The new research center will focus on tactical autonomy. The Air Force and Department of Defense secured $12 million annually for five years to fund the center’s research, faculty, and students.


“Historically Black Colleges and Universities graduate 30% of Black Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics professionals in the United States, but receive less than .05% of Department of Defense research funding,” said Dr. Victoria Coleman, chief scientist of the Air Force.

R. Kelly is now expected to serve 30 years behind bars after his sentence was announced today in New York. The R&B legend would find himself in trouble after several women over the years would come forward to share their stories regarding abuse.


Chicago-born R&B superstar R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, punctuating a remarkable fall from grace after decades of sexual misconduct allegations.
