Meek Mill Charged With Assault

Meek Mill landed himself in some trouble while traveling to Miami from the St. Louis Airport, where he got into an altercation with an airport employee. According to TMZ, the employee wanted a photo with Meek, but he wasn't having it. The interaction between the men led to an altercation, and Meek and two airport employees were charged with a misdemeanor assault.

Meek was given a summons to appear in court but was not arrested after the incident. Meek is currently on probation for a weapons and drug conviction, although it's unclear if this would be considered a violation of his probation.

Fat Joe Signs With Roc Nation

The Terror Squad MC Fat Joe has joined JAY Z and Roc Nation. Fat Joe is the latest artist to sign with Roc Nation management, announced in a press release by Joe’s publicist on Wednesday (Jan. 18).

The Bronx veteran joins a loaded lineup over at Roc Nation who recently added Yo Gotti and The LOX to their label/management company that also has Rihanna, J. Cole, Big Sean, The-Dream, Nick Jonas, Vic Mensa, Meek Mill and Fabolous.

Rumors of a breakup between Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have been swirling for a while now with the duo posting subliminal shots and unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Things really heated up when the Philly rapper posted the behind of a mystery woman dressed in red lace. He captioned it "Sitting like…… $avage…", before adding "just friends" later. He teased the identity of the woman on his Snapchat, asking his followers if they wanted to know who the lady is, but his next snap simply read, "Confidential." He later deleted the Instagram picture, but the rumor mill is continuing to swirl.

Meek has allegedly been cheating on Nicki with a Philly boutique owner named Sonye for over a year. In fact, word on the street is the Dreamchaser put up the cash for her to own the shop. According to the site, many people in Philly already knew about Meek and Sonje, adding that she’s close friends with the girlfriends of the men in the Dreamchasers camp.

Joe Budden sent out a tweet aimed at Meek Mill regarding something he said about the rapper last summer. Budden simply wrote “I’m not off ‘barbs get him’…F*** Meek” earlier today, responding to a tweet sent by the Philly rapper last year where told his girlfriend’s followers to get at him. The conflict erupted when Joe mocked Meek Mill being in love with Nicki Minaj. “Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this f***ing sappy f**k sh*t,” said Budden on his podcast last year.

He clarified his statement to Hot 97 later that month during an interview with Hot 97. “This is what happens on podcasts,” he said. “You half-heartedly speak on things that might be a hot topic, right? So, the awards came on and the camera guy just showed a lot of shots of Meek blissfully smiling in love. I thought that was interesting. I thought it was funny. It was funny to me. So we joked about it on the podcast.”

Meek Mill doesn't seem ready to drop his beef with Drake, as the Philly rapper dropped yet another diss freestyle during The Pinkprint tour stop in Camden, NJ. The "Lord Knows" emcee dropped a diss freestyle just two days prior during a tour stop in Charlotte, where he alleged that Lil Wayne and Birdman didn't care for Drake.

The Philly rapper can be heard making another reference to Drake's alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller in his latest freestyle with the line, "If Quentin Miller wrote that s**t, what the hell were we buying?"

Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill Engaged

Rumors are that rapper +Meek Mill and +Nicki Minaj is more than friends. According to E! News, the ring is a 15-carat yellow heart diamond mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pavé diamonds, which retails for a whopping $500,000. Nicki took to Instagram to post a photo of her hand with a massive heart-shaped ring on it with the caption of a series of heart, ring, and diamond emojis.

A source confirms to E! that the couple is indeed engaged. “Both Meek and Nicki have been spending amazing quality time together lately and have gotten extremely close these past few months,” said the insider. “It may seem like it all is happening very quickly but Nicki and Meek are in this 100. They truly love each other.”

Rapper +Rick Ross has purchased professional boxer +Evander Holyfield mansion. Rick Ross just moved into the biggest single-family home in Georgia, a 109-room mansion with a dining room that sits 100 guests, and a pool that holds 350,000 gallons of water. From Meek Mill‘s recent Instagram, it looks like the Miami rapper is right at home in Atlanta.

Rick Ross purchased the mansion a year after heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield lost it to foreclosure—he owed the bank a whopping $14 million. This summer the Atlanta residence, which is actually located in Fayetteville County, Ga., went back on the market for $8.2 million, but it hasn’t been revealed how much Rick Ross dropped on the mansion. At auction, the starting bid was $2.5 million.
