Thug Misses - 99 U Ain’t 1

Thug Misses pops off like a little gun while rapping on hot new single ’99 U Ain’t 1’

VALLEJO, CA – As a half-Black, half-Latina female artist trying to make her way in the music industry, Camille “Thug Misses” Carlos has faced her fair share of challenges. Like a lot of other women in the industry – especially those within the hip-hop genre – she feels like she hasn’t always gotten the credit she deserves. That’s not to say she’s proud or even bitter about some of the things she’s missed out on throughout her career – in fact, she’s quite humbled by the opportunities she’s been given. But to say that it’s been effortless and without challenge is inaccurate. She’s overcome a lot of adversity as a woman in the industry, which she chronicles on her latest hit single “99 U Ain’t 1.”

Young So - Back on

Young Soldier fights battle of good and evil with new single ‘Back On’

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA – Young Soldier, AKA Young So the Tiger, started playing piano at age 13 and hasn’t looked back since. Today, he’s one of the fastest-rising young talents in the industry, and his new music is lighting up the West Coast in major ways. His latest single “Back On” has a cool West Coast sunny day kind of vibe that’s a perfect introduction to the upcoming warmer months. It’s West Coast Hip Hop that’s full of positivity and as such, it’s not your normal kind of Hip Hop.

“It’s a song about being on the West Coast and living the best life,” Young So said. “The one thing that sets me apart from anyone else out there is that I don’t talk about money or clothes or cars or sex or guns or hoes or jewelry. I talk about the truth of the life we have – the struggles between good and evil and the decisions we make that lead to bad things or good things. I’m more of a spiritual lyricist. You don’t find that often, especially in mainstream music today.”

How Jay-Z created a hip-hop path to luxury

This past Monday, rapper Jay-Z unveiled a deal with LVMH to expand his Armand de Brignac champagne globally. The next day, Oatly, the Swedish vegan-milk group in which he has invested, took its first step towards a $10bn initial public offering.

Jay-Z has further tasks to occupy him, apart from his own music. He still heads Roc Nation, a music and sports talent agency that includes Rihanna among its clients. He is also “chief visionary officer” of a special-purpose company backed by Roc Nation that acquired two Californian cannabis groups in November. And so on.

This year is the 25th anniversary of Jay-Z’s first album Reasonable Doubt, released on his own Roc-A-Fella Records label. Some have lasted and some not, but Jay-Z was ahead of his time in business in a way that is only now clear. “Put me anywhere on God’s green Earth, I triple my worth,” he once rapped. The deal with LVMH, under which the world’s leading luxury group has taken 50 per cent of Armand de Brignac — the “Ace of Spades” champagne praised in his lyrics — is proof of that.

Big Trip (@RealBIGTRIP) - "INTL (Sleep When You're Dead)"

Denver, CO rapper Big Trip released his latest single "INTL (Sleep When You're Dead)" along with the official video on Friday. Formerly one-half of Colorado rap outfit, Low Hanging Fruit, Big Trip is stepping out as a brand new solo act with his debut single "Pack" and this new offering. The visual shot pre-quarantine by Zay Jones finds Trip wheelin' and dealin' out of Luigi's Body Shop. Premiered via AllHipHop.com and featuring an 808-heavy bassline coupled with slick rhymes, "INTL (Sleep When You're Dead" is available everywhere now.. “The lyrics in the song speak to my mindset that I’ve acquired throughout my journey of becoming a strong, hard-working, independent man," Big Trip explains to AllHipHop.com. "Once I heard the aggressive beat from Dirty Harry, I knew I had something gritty and authentic to say. The simplistic flow and cadence created space for me to really let people know how I’m feeling. I’m tired! My mind’s always going, and my phone’s always ringing. My body aches for rest but my mind is strong enough to realize: all that resting can happen when I’m dead! Crazy thing is, I actually had a close call when I was shooting the video for the song. I had a seizure while on set and almost died. Doctor said I wasn’t taking good enough care of myself or getting enough rest. But the only thing I’m focused on is getting my money and expanding my network internationally while being the flyest dude to do it.” Big Trip was originally destined to become a professional baseball player. Instead, he paved his own way to becoming a dedicated musician and executive. Now twenty-five years old, Trip applies those same sports practices and ideologies to the art of leading a successful business and career in music. One night, an overdose on college fun led to a near-fatal experience that left him in a coma.

How much is Master P worth?

While most of Master P's work in the music industry has been behind the scenes in recent years, he's often considered one of the richest rappers, surpassing even Snoop Dogg in his reported net worth.

To understand how Master P became so wealthy, you have to look at his long career, beyond what he's done with music. He founded his first record label, No Limit Records, in 1991, signing big names like Snoop Dogg and Mystikal.

His music group, TRU, then took off that decade, releasing his own music outside of TRU and continuing work for his record label. In that same 10-year span, he also played for two professional basketball teams.

Did Tory Lanez Steal The Concept For His New Video From Seattle Artist Macntaj | @itsMacntaj

Tory Lanez's name has been in all sorts of controversy in 2020, and he might just be ending it with a little more. The recent release of Tory's new music video "Boink, Boink" shows some eerily similar shots and concepts as underground Seattle artist Macntaj's new video Hood Burger. From the burger shop design to the tight-fish lense solo shots, it's easy to see the similarities with one watch. But it goes deeper, "Boink, Boink" is directed by Joshua Valle who works for Blank Square Media which is founded by Edgar Esteves - the same producer who was accused of stealing Polish group RYSY video concept for Russ' single "Losin Control." We also have reason to believe Edgar and Joshua have both seen the director of Hood Burger - Justin Frick's work on multiple occasions.

It's no secret to any fans of Seattle Hip Hop that Macntaj has been dropping incredible videos all year even throughout a pandemic, and this all wouldn't be the first time a larger artist has lifted concepts from someone smaller and expected to not be caught. Did Tory Lanez director lift this the concept for their recent video from Seattle artist Macntaj, or is it all coincidence?

Big Trip (@RealBIGTRIP) - "Pack"

Denver, CO rapper Big Trip released his debut single "Pack" along with the official video on Friday. Formerly one-half of Colorado rap outfit, Low Hanging Fruit, Big Trip is stepping out as a brand new solo act with "Pack". The visual shot pre-quarantine by Zay Jones finds Trip alongside beautiful women in Miami, lounging with libations perfectly underscoring the track's braggadocious energy. "Pack" is available everywhere now. Big Trip was originally destined to become a professional baseball player. Instead, he paved his own way to becoming a dedicated musician and executive. Now twenty-five years old, Trip applies those same sports practices and ideologies to the art of leading a successful business and career in music.

One night, an overdose on college fun led to a near fatal experience that left him in a coma. After miraculously surviving what should have been a death sentence, Trip grew more spiritual and in tune with the universe around him. One night in 2016, Trip had an intense dream about the mountains and when he awoke the next morning, without ever visiting the state, he booked a flight to Boulder, Colorado.

#Stream #Throwback #Album Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele

The Wu-Tang Clan had dominated the '90s both as a group and as individual artists -- thanks in no small part to Ghostface Killah, whose 1996 debut album Iroman is among the Wu-Tang's finest work -- but by the end of that decade, there were serious doubts in the hip hop community that the group had anything left to say. Ghostface wasn't giving up that easy, though.

He tapped the Wu-Tang's production mastermind RZA to helm about half the tracks on this 21-song album, and he matched the production with some of the best rapping of his career. It's a bolder, richer, more modern-sounding album than Ironman, and it helped the Wu come into the new decade swinging. Would they be the timeless group they are today had this album not saved them from becoming '90s relics? Maybe not.
