New Louis Vuitton Trailblazer Sneaker Boot Collection

Louis Vuitton introduces their brand new Trailblazer sneaker boot. Combining elements of both the Air Jordan 4 and Nike Air Yeezy 2, the first two colorways of this cutting-edge, high-top sneaker feature an innovative patchwork of materials: mesh, perforated nubuck and calf leather.

The black and white variants boast a neon-bright lining and technical two-tone outsole for a graphic, street-inspired look. The other style, seen here in a Bordeaux colorway, comes in a luxurious combination of water snake and tejus (lizard) leather. The black and white iterations retail for $995 USD, while the luxurious combinations retail for $1,990 USD. All four versions of the Trailblazer sneaker boot are now available at Louis Vuitton’s online store.

Nike Makes 80 $Million Off New Release

According to SportScanInfo, Nike made $80 million dollars as a result of selling close to 480,000 pairs of Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue sneakers in an estimated three hour window that coincided with the shoe’s online and in-store release. To put that in perspective, there are businesses in Oregon whose annual sales fail to clear the $80 million mark. Nike has raised the bar yet again with the conclusion of this year’s holiday Jordan 11 release. The anticipation now begins to build for next year’s traditional Jordan 11 holiday drop.

Rihanna Named Puma Creative Director

+Rihanna has been mentioned in +PUMA as the most creative director. Continuing a recent trend of pop stars and musicians being given lucrative positions of athletic and streetwear brands, PUMA joins the ranks by naming Rihanna as their Creative Director. 

While rumors have been circulating for nearly a month, the dubious title was confirmed this morning by the brand itself. The starlet touched down in PUMA’s hometown of Herzogenaurach, Germany yesterday for her first creative session with the design team, picking out colors, styles and discussing the line’s direction. Tapping Rihanna for the position doesn’t come as such a surprise, since PUMA has recently worked with Solange and competing brands continue to reach out to pop culture icons for their magic touch.

According to PUMA, the singer “will work with PUMA to design and customize classic PUMA styles as well as create new styles to add to the PUMA product portfolio.” She will also act as the company’s global brand ambassador, alongside Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and football star Mario Balotelli, among others, while also being the face of PUMA’s ad campaign for Fall 2015.

New Nike Doernbecher Collection 2014

+Nike is back on the market in time for the holidays. Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital officially unveiled the Doernbecher Freestyle for 2014. Headlining this collection of sneakers is the Air Jordan 8, followed by a series of other Nike sneakers that include the Nike Air Max Penny, the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max, the Nike Free 5.0, and the Nike Air Max Thea.
