Essential workers are the personnel needed to maintain essential services. Essential Personnel are generally defined as the faculty and staff who are required to report to their designated work location, to ensure the operation of essential functions.

For our latest installment of our music comes to workers who put their lives on the line through Covid-19. There is no doubt that COVID-19 is creating strain for people throughout the world.

Leaders Are Born, Not Created

The discussion that follows pre-supposes that we are not born with the essential qualities of leadership ingrained into our psyche. Some say that extraordinary leadership is something that is injected into our psyche at the moment of our conception. Apparently these leadership qualities come packaged as part of our DNA. We are therefore either born with the gift for extraordinary leadership or we unfortunately draw the short end of the straw. There are however other people who believe that extraordinary leaders are not born but rather nurtured and inspired to achieve feats of greatness.

Beyoncé spoke about the heroes of the pandemic, while also shining a light on the communities devastated the most by the deadly virus.

Instagram Teaming up with Brooklyn Museum for #BlackVisionaries Program

 

Instagram is teaming up with the Brooklyn Museum to debut the 2022 #BlackVisionaries Program to provide $650,000 in grants to Black artists, designers, and small businesses.

This year’s round calls for 10 creators to obtain essential funding. That includes five Visionary Small Business Grants of $100,000 for Black designers. Five Emerging Visionary Grants of $30,000—with the backing of Meta Open Arts—will be for people centered on arts and design based in the United States.

New Planet Discovered By NASA

Astronomers studying the stars teamed up with astronomers looking for new planets which led to the discovery of another planet. It is the first planet to be identified through TESS.

Studying the star's oscillations did not just provide its age and essential characteristics, but this also allowed scientists to discover that TOI-197.01 has a radius nine times compared to Earth's.

The primary objective of TESS is to look for planets outside our solar system and possibly provide more leads to help discover alien life. This makes it easier for astronomers to follow up on any findings via other space and ground technologies.
