Brad Pitt Attacked

+Brad Pitt was attacked in Hollywood. Brad Pitt almost got face-planted by an infamous Ukrainian prankster who rushed the movie star Wednesday outside the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. The hunky heartthrob had arrived late with his family to the premiere of Angelina Jolie’s “Maleficient,” which also stars their 4-year-old daughter Vivienne as a young Aurora.

Pitt was strolling the red carpet when 25-year-old Vitalii Sediuk — wearing maroon pants, a dark jacket and casual loafers — leapt over the security barrier and tried to get his hands on one of the world’s most famous kissers. Sediuk ended up facedown over a security barrier — checkered underwear exposed — as security grabbed him and hauled him away from Pitt.
The Ukrainian prankster was detained by the Los Angeles police and faced a misdemeanor battery charge. He is being held on $20,000 bail. Pitt was later seen laughing over the incident as he continued on his way into the theater.
This incident marks the Sediuk’s fourth celebrity prank of the year. Earlier this month, he tried to crawl under the back of America Ferrera‘s dress at the ‘How to Train a Dragon 2′ screening at the Cannes Film Festival.

His first prank of 2014 came in January, when he hugged Bradley Cooper’s crotch on the red carpet of the Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. In February of this year, he made the same move on Leonardo DiCaprio‘s crotch at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. In February 2013, the 25-year-old appeared onstage to crash Adele’s acceptance speech at the Grammys. He was charged with trespassing and spent the night in jail.

Sisters Gang Raped And Hung

A group of men, including at least two police officers, raped and killed two teenage sisters in rural India then hung their bodies from a mango tree, authorities said Thursday, announcing the arrests of four men. Villagers found the girls’ bodies hanging from the tree Wednesday morning, hours after they disappeared from fields near their home in Katra village in Uttar Pradesh state, police Superintendent Atul Saxena said. The girls, who were 14 and 15, had gone into the fields because there was no toilet in their home.

Hundreds of angry villagers stayed next to the tree for the rest of Wednesday, silently protesting alleged police inaction in the case. Indian TV footage showed the villagers sitting under the girls’ bodies as they swung in the wind, and preventing authorities from taking them down from the tree until the suspects were arrested.

The villagers accused the chief of the local police station of ignoring a complaint by the girls’ father Tuesday night that the girls were missing. The station chief has since been suspended. The family belongs to the Dalit community, also called “untouchables” and considered the lowest rung in India’s age-old caste system.

India tightened its anti-rape laws last year, making gang rape punishable by the death penalty, even in cases where the victim survives. The new laws came after the fatal gang rape of a 23-year-old woman on a moving bus in New Delhi that triggered nationwide protests.

Records show a rape is committed every 22 minutes in India, a nation of 1.2 billion people. Activists say that number is low because of an entrenched culture of tolerance for sexual violence, which leads many cases to go unreported. Women are often pressed by family or police to stay quiet about sexual assault, experts say, and those who do report cases are often subjected to public ridicule or social stigma.

Apple Buys Beats Conformation

The official Beats By Dre Twitter account confirmed reports of the deal being official with a simple, clever tweet. +Applenws has bought Beats from +Dr Dre. The business deal that sent both the business and hip-hop world into a frantic frenzy has officially gone through, despite reports surfacing over the weekend of several snags, including a citation of premature announcemenet, that put the deal in jeopardy.

Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine both became Apple executives, as the cellphone and software company officially acquires Beat Music for a whopping 3 billion dollars (2.6 billion in cash, 400 million in equities), and they pose alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook, and another Apple executive in charge of internet services, Eddy Cue, in an era-defining photograph.

John Janick, who has already practically been running Interscope’s day-to-day operations (according to a Billboard report), is Jimmy Iovine’s hand-picked successor at Interscope, and once Iovine has made his full transition from label exec to Apple power-player, Janick will be handed the reigns of one of music’s most powerful and successful labels, especially as of late.

Jay Z Splits From Longtime Business Partner

Jay Z has ended his partnership with John Meneilly, a man he once called his ‘consigliere.’
On to the next one. Jay Z and Solange Knowles may have (publicly at least) squashed whatever beef led to their now-infamous elevator brawl, but Hova and his longtime business manager are over.

Music industry insiders exclusively tell Confidenti@l that Jay Z has cut ties with John Meneilly, who helped build the “Empire State” rapper’s empire. Music industry insiders tell Confidenti@l that news of Meneilly’s departure started making the rounds shortly before Memorial Day weekend.

The former Provident Financial executive is largely credited with navigating the rise of the Rocawear clothing line, which Jay Z sold off for $200 million in 2007 while maintaining marketing and licensing rights. Meneilly is also credited as one of the architects behind Jay Z’s huge deal with Samsung last year, which instantly moved a million copies of the rapper’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” Meneilly was also a chief player at Roc Nation, which has grown from a record label to a talent management group that reps Yankee CC Sabathia and former Bronx Bomber Robinson Cano.

The “99 Problems” rapper is having a rough couple of weeks for sure. In addition to a surveillance video that went public of his sister-in-law pummeling him after the Met Ball gala in mid-May, photos of Jay and Bey sufaced in the Hamptons last weekend while his “Watch the Throne” collaborator Kanye West was marrying Kim Kardashian in Europe. Jay Z is also being sued for $7 million by an artist who says the rapper ripped off his Roc-A-Fella records logo design in 1995. Jay Z’s legal team is trying to postpone that case while Mr. and Mrs. Carter are on tour this summer.

Former Microsoft CEO To Buy Clippers For $2 Billion

Former Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer won a frenetic bidding war for ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers, with his $2-billion offer setting a record price for an NBA team, The Times has learned. Ballmer, who was chief executive of Microsoft for 14 years, was chosen over competitors that included Los Angeles-based investors Tony Ressler and Steve Karsh and a group that included David Geffen and executives from the Guggenheim Group, the Chicago-based owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The sale price is almost four times the highest previous NBA franchise sale price — the $550 million paid earlier this month for the Milwaukee Bucks. It is second only to the Dodgers’ 2012 sale for $2.1 billion as the highest price for any sports team in North America. The prospective sale by Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling comes five days ahead of an NBA hearing to oust her family from ownership following a controversy in which Donald Sterling insulted African-Americans in a secret audio recording.

The tentative deal still must receive the blessing of her husband, Donald Sterling, who has waxed and waned on the question of whether he would allow his wife to sell the team he has controlled for more than three decades. The deal also needs the eventual approval of 29 other NBA owners, but is expected to clear that hurdle as long as Ballmer reaffirms his pledge to keep the team in Los Angeles and not move it to Seattle, where he lives.

Why They Hating

Kind of like the photo say above, "before you ask someone why they hate you, ask your why should you even care." Some people hate each other because they grow up feeling insecure, "small" and vulnerable, whether because of parenting, poverty, 'karma', or randomness. Yes people do hate other people..Even though this is wrong.

There was a recent problem with me at work selling movies on the job, so someone took it upon themselves to tell the front office on me. After that, I find out there selling movies now too. Like really, how small do you get.

To be honest... people don't hate each other for no reason. Some would say, "we don't hate each other, It is just that we have been misunderstood by each other."  I never really get why people dislike each other so much. Yet people in the past have done things to hurt me but its not like I hate them.

There are more that ten rap groups in the city of Lima, Ohio, but none of them know how to sell their music digitally but me. So when i'm asked about it, I tell them "the game is to be sold, not to be told." It's not that i'm holding a secret back from them, its just thats my way of making my studio stand out from the rest of them.
