Muhammadu Buhari Talks Nigeria's Poverty Level

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night lamented the high level of poverty pervading in the country at the moment, saying that the situation makes him uncomfortable.

The president expressed his displeasure on the nation’s poverty rate when he played host to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the Ministers, Service Chiefs, Heads of Security Agencies and Chief Executives of Federal Government Agencies and Institutions to a breaking of fast at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He frowned at the inability of the Nigerian elites to address the welfare and educational needs of the less-privileged in the society.

President Buhari who noted that too many people were running around unable to find something to eat, challenged the elite to do something very urgent to ameliorate the pathetic situation.

He stated that already Federal Government had introduced people friendly programmes like the School Feeding and `Trader Money’ to alleviate the hardship being experienced by the less-privileged individuals across the country.

President Bush vs Obama War Tactics

All members and staff of The Wrap-Up Magazine had to discuss the tactics that President George W. Bush had to take vs Barack Obama. Although there may have been water gating in Guantanamo Bay detention camp, it was tactics that were needed to catch a criminal that could not be caught. Six men released from Guantanamo Bay arrive in Uruguay, all i'm saying is why? They should not close down the prison but get ready for more prisoners out of ISIS.

Ice Cube Has Words For Donald Trump

The rapper took to Twitter to express his frustration over the ad which shows him wearing a Trump shirt with the message, "Rapper-Actor Ice Cube Endorses Trump. 'We need a common sense President.'” He replied to the message with a tweet that said “stealing endorsements is not how you become the president of the United States, homie. Leave my name out ya mouth. I will never endorse a mothaf**ka like Donald Trump EVER!!”

Even though Cube clearly does not support Trump, he doesn’t seem to be much of a fan of Hillary Clinton either. “She might be the president of the United States,” he said during a Bloomberg Politics interview in April. “And if she becomes the president of the United States, we need to know what she’s thinking. How does she think? How is she gonna handle this? How’s she gonna fix this? She helped create it in a way. How are you gonna fix this?”

Hillary Clinton May Run For President In 2020

Hillary Clinton
Is the world ready for the next Presidential running. Hillary Clinton gave a possible hint about maybe emarking on another presidential run. On behalf of America, I am answering. Hillary Rodham Clinton, I beg you: Please run again.

This prohibits former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama from being elected president again. However, former presidents Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush (both nonagenarians ), having each served a single term as president, are not constitutionally prohibited from being elected to another term in the 2020 election.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during an event over the weekend left the door open to a possible 2020 run, saying that even though she doesn't want to run, "I'd like to be president."

Clinton went on to say that "there’s going to be so much work to be done" after a Democrat "hopefully" wins the next presidential election.

"The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department," she said, listing off the qualifications that she often touted during her previous run.

She added that she's not going to think about a possible run until after the upcoming midterm elections. Hillary loss the previous race to Donald Trump.

Is Trump A Dictator?

Magic Johnson gave his two cents on Donald Trump's controversial travel ban, on Sunday night [Jan. 29], saying that it is "not who we are as Americans." He also directed some sharp words at the President, with a warning that he remember he is legislating over democracy.

"It’s just not a good time. He’s gotta learn you can’t just be a dictator. We’ve never had a president like that. We’ve always had a president who brought the country together and brought all people together. That’s what we need today, right now, and we’re not getting that," Johnson told a TMZ reporter while exiting the W Hotel in Los Angeles.

The Trump Administration has moved quickly to deliver on the promises he made to his base over the course of his campaign. The executive order, which denies all refugees entry into the U.S. for a four month period, blocks citizens from seven Middle Eastern and African countries for the next 90-days and instills a ban on refugees from Syria indefinitely, which comes days after he signed an order to begin construction on a Mexican border wall. Johnson touched on each of those decisions, while also raising the plight of African-Americans and women.

Bandidos vs Hells Angels

The Bandidos Motorcycle Club has started a probationary chapter in the city of Sittard in the Netherlands. In the country where once the Hells Angels reigned supreme things have gotten pretty crowded in the past few years. The presence of the Bandidos is especially worrisome to police, though, as the two clubs have a bitter and violent rivalry in other parts of the world.

The United States Vs Russia

The United States may be on the brinks of another war. The Ukrainian official was reacting to Russia’s plan to launch military exercises along its border with Ukraine after at least five pro-Russian protesters were killed in eastern Ukraine.

The first stage of the operation began when Ukrainian troops entered the eastern city, killing at least five pro-Russia protesters. On April 17, Ukraine’s interim government together with the United States, Russia and the European Union reached an agreement in the Swiss city of Geneva, calling for all sides to ease the ongoing crisis in eastern Ukraine, where protesters keep occupying state buildings in several towns and cities.

Some 150 American troops arrived in Latvia as part of a bigger contingent of US forces sent to the Baltic states amid rising tensions between Russia and the West over the crisis in Ukraine. Another company of US Army troops arrived in Poland and around 150 others are expected in both Lithuania on Saturday and Estonia early next week.

The US said it was sending 600 troops to the region in order to increase its military presence there and reassure its allies. Russia has begun extensive military drills near its border with Ukraine, saying the escalation of violence in eastern Ukraine and the militarization of the region by the US and its allies have forced it to react. US President Barack Obama says Russian President Vladimir Putin is not a “stupid man” as Washington warns of tougher sanctions on Moscow over Ukraine crisis.

He also stated that the Russian president sees “Russia’s interests as invariably in conflict with the West.” Obama’s comments come less than a week after Ukraine’s interim government together with the United States, Russia and the European Union reached an agreement in the Swiss city of Geneva on April 17, calling for all sides to ease the ongoing crisis in eastern Ukraine, where protesters keep occupying state buildings in several towns and cities.

A Dozen Arrested Protesting Trump

A crowd of over 1,000 amassed outside of New York's Trump International Hotel and Tower to show their resistance of the President's administration on Wednesday, March 8. They were organized in solidarity with demonstrations that took place in more than 50 countries, as the world celebrated International Women's Day. Here in the U.S., many of the thousands who congregated in cities across the nation did so under a general strike promoted as a "Day Without a Woman."

School districts in such cities as Virginia and North Carolina were forced to shut down due to the limited staffing the exodus of workers caused. And while the numbers for Wednesday's events didn't come close to the droves who took to the streets the day after Trump's inauguration, the message was as loud and militant as it has been from some vowing to keep women's rights a priority of the administration, and others calling for an ouster of the Commander In Chief. "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Donald Trump has got to go!" echoed from the scores of women packing Columbus Circle. Outside of Trump Tower alone, 13 women were arrested, including the march's co-founder Linda Sarsour, for reportedly refusing to clear the street.

Later on in the evening, over 2,000 people were estimated to have come together downtown in Washington Square Park. A projector shined the phrase "Women's Strike!" onto the arch raising over the park's entrance. Participants held up signs and took in the messages of speakers blaring from a megaphone.

Despite the hostility espoused against him, the President would take to Twitter to honor the occasion, writing, “tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy.” Former President Barack Obama also shared words of solidarity, releasing a statement that read: "On International Women’s Day, @MichelleObama and I are inspired by all of you who embrace your power to drive change."

Stormy Daniels Ordered To Pay Trump $300,000

A US federal judge in California has ordered porn star Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump nearly $300,000 for filing a defamation suit against the president that was dismissed.

US District Judge S. James Otero said Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, must pay Trump $293,000 to cover the president's attorney fees and costs plus $1,000 in sanctions for filing the lawsuit.

Trump's attorney Charles Harder hailed the ruling, along with an earlier one dismissing Daniels's defamation case, as a "total victory for the president, and a total defeat for Stormy Daniels in this case."

Clifford has also sued Trump over a non-disclosure agreement. The judge has not dismissed that case.

Daniels's attorney Michael Avenatti said in a tweet after the latest ruling that his client planned to appeal and will likely never have to pay a dime.

"If Stormy has to pay $300k to Trump in the defamation case (which will never hold up on appeal) and Trump has to pay Stormy $1,500,000 in the NDA case (net $1,200,000 to Stormy), how is this a Trump win?"
