Danny Delavie (@DannyDelavie) - "Backup"

Danny Delavie is an Alternative Rock/hip-hop artist based out of Brooklyn New York. Drawing influences from bands like Linkin Park, and artists like Post Malone; Delavie was inspired to challenge the status quo and labels of genre in both his song writing and his production, not allowing limitations to be put on his sound. Starting his career at 22 years old, he’s proven to have great potential in his accomplishments thus far, selling out NYC venues such as Webster Hall, and executing an international tour in New Zealand. His love for various sounds in music production eventually stemmed from listening to bands such as Rage Against The Machines & Linkin Park. As a result, these bands inspired him to cross blend the genres of HipHop and Rock in his own music. These influences have shaped Delavie’s sound overall as an artist, which can be heard in his lyrical execution, his choice of song structure, and in his production as well. On his latest single “Backup”, Danny sonically conveys his frustration with negative relationship energy. With production by New Jersey based producer, Jace Limb, and co production by Delavie himself, “Backup” brings a very rare HipHop/Modern Pop vibe, with a raw energy that constantly jumps in and out of breakdowns, and sharp paces as he cuts from verse to verse, really painting a picture with his words and emotion. Seamlessly compacting all of his versatility as an artist into one song, “Backup” really shows us why Delavie is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to creating quality music with unique execution, and that is riddled with emotion.

P. Gutter Feat Fred The Godson and Grafh - Coronation

On April 23rd 2020, Hip Hop lost one of the most superior lyricists to ever pick up the pen. Frederick Thomas aka “Fred The Godson” passed away from health complications due to Covid-19. He was well known and respected in the hiphop community for his high caliber writing abilities and legendary freestyles. Just days before Fred was hospitalized for Covid-19 symptoms he recorded his verse for “Coronation” This song also features Queens ,NY rapper “Grafh” and was produced by Vinny Idol, who are both hip hop legends in their own right. Vinny Idol and Grafh were both working on projects with Fred The Godson that unfortunately were not able to be completed. This was the 1st time that P.Gutter had collaborated with the trio. He had just started building a working relationship with Fred and had know idea that their time together would be cut short. At the end of the song there is a monologue by Fred The Godson that was added to the track as a way to pay tribute to the Bronx MC. He will forever be considered hip hop royalty so it is fitting that the song is titled “Coronation”

Troy Remedy - Next to You

Troy Remedy Shows Elegance With Soulful Single “Next To You”

For Troy Remedy, to live is to endure. Life makes for an uphill climb. One must claw and scrape to gain even a morsel of advantage. When in need of solace, Troy Remedy turns to music. “Music has always been an element to some of the things that have happened around me,” said Troy Remedy. “When you’re in a bad spot, in a bind, mentally stuck or trying to find your way through the maze. music has always been there.”

Troy’s fresh lyrical delivery and organic production hearkens back to the days of old but with a bold new twist. His songs burrow down into the heart, revealing concealed pain and sorrow. “My professors taught me the method,” said Troy. “I took the lessons that they taught me and I had to show my own version of it. And in my own style. I take great pride in the production side of things.”

JU$TIN (@JDTMediaGRP) - "Dead Rappers Get Better Promotion"

In time for Halloween, JDT Media GRP's own JU$TIN returns with a haunting new single called "Dead Rappers Get Better Promotion." The Music Mike produced single explores the subject of who really wins and loses when a rapper is killed and how the media sensationalizes these tragic losses for click bait, while record labels benefit from a spike in record sales due to the murder of one of their artists. Which is a very relevant topic with the recent deaths of several influential artists in the HipHop community due to gun violence. "Dead Rappers Get Better Promotion" is the warm-up single leading up to the Veteran's Day release of "JDT SZN 2" the follow-up to the NY/LA artist's "JDT SZN" project that he released this past September.

What Would A Battle Between DMX And Jay-Z Be Like?

Before DMX and Jay Z became international rap titans, they competed in a classic hip-hop war. Even with all that feuding in the past, Hov and X have collaborated on a bunch of songs, including "It's Murda" and "Blackout." They even almost formed a group with Ja Rule.

In 1999, Jay Z and DMX embarked (and majorly cashed in) on the Hard Knock Life Tour. Although Jay Z’s album gave the tour its name, the lineup was a joint headliner of the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder and DMX.

Captured in the documentary film Backstage, Jay Z and DMX had vastly different demeanors on wax, on stage, and as celebrities. While both were pillars of Rap-made-right and suddenly sex symbols, they only overlapped in skill and love of the art.
