The Woman Known For Racist Social Media Posts

The hiring of former field organizer Teresa UnRue was officially announced through an email that acting Secretary Phil Rosenfelt dispensed to Education Department employees this week. UnRue was blasted in the media over the summer when a series of offensive Facebook posts were exposed by the media.

Back in June, UnRue shared a post that read "We Need Islam Control, Not Gun Control." Two months later she circulated a meme that poked fun at Mexicans for their accent. They were among several Facebook postings that reflected an insensitivity towards minority voters. Included among them was a viral video of an African-American man eating chicken while mocking his own race for a number of children they have and for still lamenting over slavery. "Had me crack'n up!! Thank you! Please share this with people," UnRue captioned.

The Huffington Post unveiled that it had traced back to discover posts that were hostile towards Barack Obama during his presidency. One such message accused the former President of treason and called him a "terrorist." At the time, the promotion of such propaganda was not uncommon for the Tea Party types who would eventually comprise Trump's base. However, now that he has taken an oath to serve all Americans while occupying the nation's highest office, his continued association with, much less his appointment of such divisive figures to his cabinet, may present a challenge to his reputation going forward.

The memo which names UnRue a new member of the administration does not specify what her job would be in the department.

Versace Sued By Employees

A former employee at a Pleasanton, California Versace store has filed a lawsuit accusing the high-end retailer of discrimination, not only against him, but towards its Black customers.

The suit alleges that during his time as a clerk with the company, 23-year-old Christopher Sampiro was not afforded rest periods and was wrongfully terminated without having received payment for time worked. Sampiro also claims the store carried out a policy of having staff alert co-workers when a Black person entered the establishment by passing mention of it through a secret code.

Raising Minimum Wages Hurts The Small Business Owners

The Presidential Debate has started between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton and we will be posting as it is going. They kicked it off talking about growing the economy. Hillary said raise minimum wage and Donald said bring jobs back from overseas. We agree with both sides, and heres why.

Raising up the minimum wages makes it harder for small businesses to give out more jobs, and big corporation don't mind paying a fee for leaving to get cheaper wages and more production. As far as Donald Trump loosing previous businesses, you have to loose to gain, you have to crawl somewhere before you walk. Support our rise below.

If the minimum wage increases, small business owners will likely scale back the number of employees and raise prices to cover the extra cost. An increase would stifle small business growth for owners and employment opportunities for job-seekers.

ITT Technical Institute Shuts Down 130 Campuses

Nearly 40,000 students and most of the 8,000 employees from ITT Technical Institute campuses across 38 states faced bad news on Tuesday morning, [September 6] when ITT Educational Services Inc. announced that it is closing down each of its 130 locations, effective immediately.

News of the school's closure comes a month after the U.S. Department of Education ordered the for-profit operator to freeze enrollment of any new students who receive public dollars via federal aid. The company behind the institution had been under investigation by the Massachusetts Attorney General, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Securities and Exchange Commission, among a dozen other state and federal authorities accusing it of financial mismanagement.

ITT Tech was noted among for-profit schools, for incurring one of the largest pools of revenue, 80% of which came from Pell Grants and federal student loans. But it sinks with a for-profit college industry that has taken a hit in recent years, with the government cracking down on its recruitment tactics and heavily scrutinizing its funds. Such operators as DeVry Education Group and Apollo Education Group, have been forced to downsize as enrollment has dwindled, and the ability to secure financial backing has become increasingly difficult.

Vanilla Ice Rants Off

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) The rapper and reality TV personality can be seen yelling at a guy who told him that he should have been “watching the monitor, dude.” He screamed at the guy after yelling at two Delta employees. “Hey, I don’t need any information from you, man. Shut your f**kin mouth. I don’t give a f**k. Shut your mouth. I don’t need anything from you. You don’t work here. Shut up,” said Vanilla Ice.

He screamed at another employee before talking to the woman seen in the video, according to China K, the person who uploaded the video onto YouTube. China K claimed Ice cursed out the other employee before he walked away. The woman in the video was summoned after his initial outburst.

The rapper commented on the situation after the video was released, as he Tweeted, "Hahha- funniest thing about this video is the guy that was the smart ass, had a TMNT shirt on I told him he's not worthy. #Funny." He added, "How funny, vanilla ice has a meltdown. More like over caffeinated, and no sleep. Wrong actions but right point."

Student Busted Flashing Genitals

Red Mountain High School student Hunter Osborn, 19, faces a whopping 69 counts of indecent exposure after authorities say he flashed his genitals in the football team’s yearbook photo. The stiff punishment accounts for each person present at a photoshoot where Osborn let his penis hang out over the waistband of his football pants in the now-tarnished photo.

The blip of nudity went unnoticed for months — overshadowed by a sea of red uniforms until after the school printed and distributed the annuals to about 250 students. The Mesa school admittably failed to notice Osborn’s feat due to the “small size of the photograph” and published it in promotional material distributed at football games throughout the school year.

When they finally realized what Osborn had done, school employees contacted police and recalled the yearbook to “make a minor but critical edit for the inappropriate content,” according to a statement issued by Mesa Public Schools. “He wasn’t the editor that approved it or the teacher responsible for publishing it and distributing it to students,” Labban wrote. “The teacher responsible for the yearbook should be fired. Red Mountain High School is using him as a scapegoat instead of taking any responsibility.”

Groom Attacks Wife

Have you ever asked how far you would go for a shot of booty? A bride’s fairytale wedding day ended in a nightmare beating. Amy Dawson said her groom attacked her on their wedding night because he couldn’t help her out of her white gown.

But even before the wedding, the British couple’s relationship was rocky. When 22-year-old Dawson became pregnant while they were dating, 29-year-old Golightly became abusive, she said. Still, they wed in West Rainton, England, last year. That night, they retired to their room, where Golightly tried to help Dawson out of her dress. When he couldn’t get the gown off his bride, he threw her on the ground and started punching her, she said.

Mobster Shot To Death

Mobster Tonino Callocchia was shot to death yesterday as he dined at a restaurant in Riviere-des-Prairies, Montreal. He was 53. His murder is the latest to rock the Canadian city as two mafia factions are fighting a vicious war for control of the rackets.

The longtime mobster was enjoying a meal at Bistro XO+ (photo above) around 1:30 p.m. on Monday when, according to police, “one or several suspects went inside and fired shots at the victim inside the bistro. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by the doctor.”

The assassins, or assassin, wore ski masks to hide their faces, and hit Callocchia while surrounded by patrons and employees. After they shot their target down they fled the restaurant. Another job done, another name scratched off the list.

According to the Montreal Gazette, “His known ties to the Mafia date to the 1980s. In 1994, he was charged, and later convicted, in a money laundering case that linked him to Vincenzo “Jimmy” Di Maulo, the brother of Joseph Di Maulo, an influential Mafia boss who was killed, at age 70, in front of his home in Blainville on Nov. 4, 2012. That was a slaying police sources have theorized was a response to the many attacks on the Rizzuto organization in the years preceding it.”

After serving a prison sentence for his role in the murder of three Bonanno crime family capos, Rizzuto (right) was back in Montreal. He’d had a lot of time to think while behind bars and when he got out he went straight to work.

For those that thought the killing would end with the death - by natural causes - of Montreal mob boss Vito Rizzuto this hit serves as a reminder that the mafia is not one person. It is an entity with many heads, each with a long memory. After Rizzuto’s death of natural causes, his friends continued his crusade against traitors and enemies, among them Callocchia, who sided with the rebel faction.

Capital Records Laying Off Employees

Rumor are that +Capital Records may be having a big layoff. This strikes the music industry hard as the age of digital music comes into play. A source with knowledge of the situation tells Billboard that a dozen staffers were let go today (Nov. 6) as part of a restructuring at Capitol Music Group. The restructuring is part of a continued evaluation of the company under chairman Steve Barnett, which began in late 2012 with Barnett’s appointment to the top spot. Additional hires are expected in the coming weeks and months.

Overworked And Underpaid

In today's society, many Americans are overworked and underpaid. Now and days, you have to stand out among the competition. While many jobs are fading away, while more small companies emerge, the wages are getting lower and lower. The price to live after food, rent, and bills are weighing the economy down.

Many jobs cause employees to work too hard, too much, or too long. Are you stressed at work? You're not alone. A recent Gallup poll indicates that on-the-job pressure is the top reason for employee dissatisfaction in the work force.

Data on American time off, worker productivity, holiday, paid leave, sick time, hours worked per year, hours worked per week, & more that show how overworked we are. Many workers feel overworked or overwhelmed by how much work they have to do. Every employee feels overworked at one point or another, but what can you do about it when you’ve reached your breaking point and can’t afford to quit?

We have been trying to generated differnt sources of income to keep everything we have going. Thats including mortgage payments, bills, promotion, and more. You can support us by clicking the link listed below.

$15 Minimum Wage Raise For Seattle Wa

Seattle City Council‘s vote today on a historic plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour could change her life. Phelps, 22, earns $9.47 per hour working for a McDonald’s restaurant near downtown. She wants to move out of her mother’s South Seattle home, and she wants to go back to school. She says those things could happen if Council approves the nation’s highest minimum wage.

Not everyone jumped on board. Craig Dawson, CEO of Retail Lockbox in Seattle, was among those suggesting early on that small and minority businesses would be put at risk by the increase in personnel costs. Compromises were put forward, and a rancorous Council committee meeting last week resulted in some adjustments to the plan that appeared to pave the way for easy passage.

Washington already has the highest state minimum wage at $9.32 an hour, well above the federal minimum of $7.25. The Seattle compromise plan would phase in the higher, local minimum wage over three to seven years, depending on the size of the business and benefits they provide employees.

City officials estimate that about a quarter of workers earn less than $15 an hour. Full-time work at that rate translates to about $31,000 a year. The ordinance was drafted by an advisory group of labor, business and non-profit professionals. In a contentious meeting last week, a City Council committee agreed to delay implementation of the ordinance to next April instead of Jan. 1. They rejected amendments that would have sped up phase-ins and would have excluded tips from total compensation. The committee also approved a sub-minimum wage for teenagers.

Ray J Arrested

Singer Ray J was arrested Friday night after getting into several alleged confrontations at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The 33-year-old singer has been charged with vandalism, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.

Officers were originally called because a woman claimed Raj J had grabbed her butt at the hotel bar, Hoshino said. The incident was deemed an accident and officers suggested it’d be best if Norwood left.

Norwood agreed but got into an altercation on his way out with employees in the valet area, according to Hoshino. When Norwood refused to leave the hotel he was placed in a private citizens arrest for alleged trespassing.

Police say when they took Norwood into custody and placed him in a patrol car he kicked out a side window. They attempted to restrain his feet and he allegedly spat in an officer’s face. Norwood was booked for battery on a police officer, trespassing, vandalism and resisting arrest. TMZ reported he was being held on $20,000 bail and was released overnight.

Facebook Headquarters Evacuated

The headquarters of social media giant Facebook was temporarily flooded with officers and cordoned off Tuesday evening after a threat against the company was called in to authorities. The threat was originally called into the San Francisco Police Department.

The department transferred the call to Menlo Park officers, who went to the campus and closed off the entrance with tape. Officers searched the campus, while the company asked its employees to stay put before police could prove or disprove the threat.

Officers did not find anything at the campus, and Facebook eventually shuttled its employees home. The company, founded in 2004, has more than 6,000 employees. Menlo Park’s city council voted last week to allow the company to pay about $200,000 a year to the city to fund a full-time police officer who would be stationed near the new campus.

Bad Boy Records Closes

+Bad Boy Records has officialy closed its doors and moved to +Revoltt. This should come as no surprise Bad Boy Records apparently is closing its doors and moving to Revolt! In the 90s it was all about Bad Boy Records with The Notorious BIG, 112, Lil Kim, Total, Faith Evans, Craig Mack, Mase, Loon, G-Dep, Carl Thomas and many more, but those days are long gone and the golden era of hip hop has truly faded.

These days, Bad Boy Records has been less than impressive with lackluster artists and groups like Day 26, Danity Kane, Cassie, Diddy-Dirty Money and many more seen here in the artist graveyard or as Bad Boy would say, their Rooster. Bad Boy has always pumped out hits, but NOT like the 90s and many artists were thrown to the waste side after one or two albums.

Diddy has FIRED all his employees and sent the rest to the REVOLT. You may remember REVOLT is a new music network created by the mogul that is also rumored to be bumpy start and is still not in many cities yet. As for French Montana and Janelle Monae, they’ll be transferred over to Interscope Records.

150 More Jobs Added To Ohio

A $2.5-million expansion at Ridgeview Behavioral Hospital in Middlepoint, Ohio will nearly double the size of the facility and create an estimated 150 new jobs. The hospital will hold a groundbreaking for the 16,500-square-foot addition.

The 40-bed facility will have about 76 to 78 patient beds after the expansion. Ridgeview has a staff of 150 employees; with the expansion the hospital plans to expand this to 250 to 300. The hospital, which began seeing patients in May 2012, has tried to use local subcontractors and vendors for the construction as much as possible. Although the hospital was eligible for a tax abatement, it declined.

Ridgeview Hospital is a 40-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital that is committed to providing the highest quality of care to individuals dealing with mental health issues, or mental health issues with co-occurring chemical addictions. All three commissioners are enthusiastic about the project and believe an expansion of its size is promising in Van Wert County, said Van Wert County commissioners Chairman Todd Wolfrum, adding that Ridgeview is creating much needed, well-paying jobs for the residents of Van Wert County.

Bernie Madoff Cocaine Sex Parties

Former Bernie Madoff secretary Annette Bongiorno describe a love-triangle between Bernie Madoff and at least one of his employees. They went on to describe an office environment where “a number of Madoff Securities employees and customers – including expected witnesses, defendants and others – were engaged in romantic or sexual relationships,” with one another.

An earlier lawsuit began to paint a sordid picture of Madoff, who had a love of prostitutes and strippers. A court document from 2009 reads, “Madoff’s affinity for escorts, masseuses and attractive female employees was well known in the office culture, and certain feeders were allowed to participate in the conduct.”
