A Colorado jury awarded a 78-year-old woman, Ruby Johnson, $3.76 million after a SWAT team mistakenly raided her house while searching for a stolen truck containing weapons and an iPhone. The SWAT team surrounded Johnson's house, expecting a dangerous suspect, but found the elderly woman who had just finished a shower. Despite her cooperation, the SWAT team extensively searched her house, only to realize later they had the wrong address.
The SWAT team's actions were prompted by the Find My Phone app, which inaccurately pinged near Johnson's home.
