Why It's Ok To Fall In Love Again

 


Letting go is hard because it means that you need to free yourself from some aspects of your past. Things that have become a part of yourself – of what makes you who you are today. Most people understand this as getting rid of that 'thing' resulting to a change in who you are. You can find letting go to be scary.


The good news is that it is totally possible to fall in love again after a heart break. The best way to enter a new relationship is as a happy and healthy version of yourself.


If you've experienced a bad break-up, even though you may feel lonely, you are not alone. Also, as difficult as it may feel right now, it is possible to fall in love again. Taking the time to heal from this experience and learning to express your thoughts and feelings will help as you recover from this loss.


Despite what you may believe, losing a soul mate will actually awaken your soul. It will leave you with the insight necessary to learn what you want out of your next relationship, with what you're willing to put up and with what you'll never deal again.


In romantic relationships, burnout occurs when one person or both are giving too much to the relationship, but get little or nothing in return. This type of burnout is often accompanied by feelings of exhaustion, feeling like something is missing, and increased pessimism in your relationship.


To be clear, it's perfectly normal to crave another relationship when you're heartbroken. A lot of it is actually a bit beyond your control, and has to do with neuroscience and chemicals released by the brain.


It's definitely possible to have strong feelings for multiple people. In fact, there's nothing unusual about being attracted to more than one person or wanting to act on that attraction. Depending on what type of relationship you're in, this just might not be possible.


How do you stop having feelings for someone you can't have? The best way to stop loving someone you can't have is to distance yourself from them. Mute them or block them on social media, and take some time and space away from them in every regard. In fact, in some situations, you may never need to talk to them again.
