What Happened To R Kelly?

Back in the 90s, R Kelly was known as the king of R&B. He revived a dying genre with his monstrous hits like Bump n Grind, I Believe I Can Fly, and Ignition. Kelly was not only a singer he had a cultural impact, he made R&B mainstream.

Kelly has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, making him the most successful male R&B artist of the 1990s and one of the best-selling musical acts in the world. In 2010, Billboard magazine named Kelly the most successful R&B artist in history and listed him as a Top R&B/Hip Hop Artist between 1985 and 2010.

He was once known as an icon, one of the most successful artists but then something happened and he fell hard from that pedestal. Since the 1990s, there has been misconduct, often with underage girls. He has faced numerous civil lawsuits and has been charged by criminal courts in Chicago, New York, Illinois and Minnesota.
