Name A Rock Band That Inspired You The Most

I know it may be hard to limit your answer to one rock & roll musician, but the Wrap-Up Magazine want to know which rock band have inspired you the most throughout the years?

Certain trends emerge as you explore how rock's 100 biggest bands got their names. From AC/DC to ZZ Top, many rock bands have made it to the top of the charts while some didn't. Rock music also drew strongly from a number of other genres such as electric blues and folk, and incorporated influences from jazz, classical and other musical styles.

Rock music's long, storied past has made it a versatile style of music beloved by many. It has elicited calls of action for peace, been blamed for violence, and, most of all, entertained the people of the world since its inception.

A blend of African American and White musical traditions, Rock and Roll challenged existing social norms including the segregation of the races. Because rhythm and blues musicians were African-American and the music was considered suggestive, it was not generally accepted by white audiences.

The most widely held belief is that the first rock'n'roll single was 1951's Rocket 88, written by Ike Turner, sung by Jackie Brenston, and recorded by Sam Phillips, who later went on to found Sun records and discover Elvis Presley.

So what rock band has inspired you through music? How did they have a impact on your life? How many times have you  replayed the same song for comfort? Leave you comments below or on any of our social media sites.

Viewers and readers of Fans Favorites chose Aerosmith's "Dream On" as America's most beloved inspirational song of all time.
