Macaulay Culkin Speaks Out About Michael Jackson

The Home Alone star maintained a close friendship with the music legend from the early 90s, and spoke at Jackson’s trial on charges of child molestation, calling the allegations against the star ‘absolutely ridiculous’.

And nearly ten years after Michael’s death, Macaulay has shared an insight into his friendship with the star, who was 22 years older than him.

‘He reached out to me because a lot of things were happening, big and fast with me and I think he identified with that. At the end of the day, it’s almost easy to say it was weird or whatever but it wasn’t because it made sense. At the end of the day, we were friends.’

Macaulay – who shot to fame in 1990 when he played Kevin McAllister in Home Alone – continued: ‘I was a peerless person. Nobody else in my Catholic school had even this much idea of what I was going through and he was the kind of person who’d been through the exact same frickin’ thing and wanted to make sure I wasn’t alone.’ Culkin told Rosenbaum that he would often prank call people with MJ, saying: ‘He was fucking hilarious. He was charming, fucking funny, silly.’

What do you think about this? I know my opinion doesn't matter, but still it's a little too far for a grown man and a child. The former child star appeared in Jackson’s video for Black or White in 1991, and went on to support the singer in his trial in 2005 where Jackson was charged with molesting a 13-year old boy.
