The artistic venture uses her 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift as both a soundtrack and inspiration for a new story, and as countless fans of the singer-songwriter rushed to watch what she’d come up with this time around, the tracks from the full-length benefit immensely on at least one Billboard chart this frame.

Beyoncé rules this week’s World Digital Song Sales ranking with the tracks from her latest project, which all return to the roster thanks to impressive sales during the past tracking frame, with a number of tunes hitting new high points on the list.

A week after she announced that Taylor would be featured on the cover of September’s issue of O Magazine, it has been revealed that Winfrey is also taking out billboards around Louisville, Kentucky, urging residents to “demand that the police involved in the killing of Breonna Taylor be arrested and charged,” the sign reads. Also included is a link to UntilFreedom.com, a social justice advocacy group that has focused efforts on Taylor’s case.

“If you turn a blind eye to racism, you become an accomplice to it,” reads a quote from Winfrey, 66, on the billboard.

Bill Cosby Files New Appeal In Pennsylvania

In court docs filed on Tuesday, his attorney argues that his trial was not fair because it allowed five accusers to give “decades-old” testimony that prejudiced the jury against him. They also argue it was “unfair” to have included a deposition he gave in an old civil suit “regarding [Cosby’s] use of quaaludes and his sexual behavior” because the disgraced comic believed the testimony was essentially immune from prosecution.

Will Smith has signed on as executive producer for a dramatic reboot of his ’90s sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air.” Morgan Cooper will co-write and direct the project, after he created a 2019 trailer for the concept that went viral and caught Smith’s eye.

Well, given Hollywood’s current penchant for giving everything a “dark” and “gritty” backstory, it would probably look quite a bit like this superbly made fan film by director Morgan Cooper. Simply titled Bel-Air, it gives Will Smith’s young “Will” a considerably more dire origin story while keeping all of the major Fresh Prince beats intact.

South Central is a 1992 American crime-drama film. It was one of the greatest hood movies made during my time. The movie is based on Crips in south central L.A. It was written and directed by Steve Anderson, who has served time, and whose view of prison life has a particular authenticity.

Movie Plot:

During a 10-year sentence for murdering the leader of a rival South Central Los Angeles gang, Bobby Johnson (Glenn Plummer) finds religion and rehabilitation with the help of Muslim inmate Ali. Upon his release, Bobby returns home to find that his young son, Jimmie (Christian Coleman), has joined the Deuces, his old crew. Tensions rise as Bobby struggles to convince Jimmie to leave the gang that was his only family during the painful years his absent father spent behind bars.
