R. Kelly Has Been Indicted

I can't believe it myself! R. Kelly was charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual abuse involving multiple victims in a Chicago court Friday after decades of rumors and allegations that the R&B star was abusing women and underage girls.

Kelly has denied allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls for decades. Neither Kelly’s legal representative nor the Cook County prosecutor's office immediately responded to Fox News’ request for comment on the charges.

Kelly was kicked off the Best of Both Worlds Tour, his joint outing with Jay-Z, after a dispute between the two performers at New York's Madison Square Garden. During his performance, R. Kelly abruptly left the stage, claiming he saw two people in the audience with guns.

R. Kelly filed a $75 million lawsuit against Jay-Z and his Marcy Projects production company, accusing the rapper of “sabotaging” the pair's abruptly canceled Best of Both Worlds Tour.

Dame reacted to being asked if he thinks R. Kelly should be in jail, and Dame explained, "I think he’s where he belongs. I know Aaliyah, so I know what he did. I can’t be objective about that. You know what I’m saying? But he definitely seemed like he needed some help."

12 Victims Have Came Forward In R. Kelly Case

Chicago’s top prosecutor, has received 12 responses since she openly called for women who have sexual-misconduct claims against R. Kelly to come forward with their stories. The singer has been under renewed criticism since the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly” aired early this month.

Though R. Kelly’s defendant Steve Greenberg told the Chicago Sun Times that he felt the “lead prosecutor should be silent until there’s evidence.” As a result, 12 people have come forward with stories against the singer, two of whom claim they lost contact with relatives who were previously involved with Kelly.
