Young Thug Charged With Multiple Felonies

Young Thug has been charged with eight felonies stemming from an arrest in Brookhaven, Georgia almost exactly a year ago. The news, first reported by TMZ today (Sept. 6), citing court documents viewed by XXL, show that Thug has been hit with some serious charges stemming from a drug and weapons arrest last September.

DeKalb County court records show that Thugger is facing charges of possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and weed. He's also charged with two counts of codeine possession and possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam (Xanax) and a firearm.

Young Thug Arrested for Gun Possession

Police pulled Thugger over on Sept. 26, 2017 because the front windows of his car were illegally tinted. They then reportedly discovered 2.5 ounces of marijuana (a felony weight), a bevy of other drugs and $50,000 in cash.

Thug is due in court for his arraignment for the eight felonies on Oct. 9.

This certainly isn't the Atlanta rapper's first run-in with the law. He was recently arrested at  Dave & Busters in Los Angeles during the listening party for his most recent project, Slime Language. Despite the arrest, the compilation mixtape still debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

Ty Dolla $ign ran into some legal trouble in Atlanta this afternoon (Sept. 5) after he was handcuffed and taken away by police, who searched what appeared to be his tour bus for drugs.

It's unclear at this point if he was actually arrested or just detained but weed laws in Georgia are notoriously strict. Video from the incident acquired by TMZ shows a handful of police officers going through Dolla's limousine van. At one point, a drug dog begins barking aggressively. A police officer can be heard telling Ty and his associates that he spotted some marijuana in the backseat of the car and asks if anyone wants to own up to it. They all remain silent.

Ty Dolla $ign and another individual can be seen later in handcuffs as they're escorted to a police car. The Beach House 3 crooner was in Atlanta to perform with G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert and YBN Nahmir on the Endless Summer Tour. It remains to be seen if he'll make the show tonight.

Atlanta rapper Ralo‘s apartment was raided by the FBI on Thursday for reasons that are not yet being publicly released. Ralo was not home at the time of the raid, because he was in jail in Dekalb County for a criminal conspiracy charge.

DMX Placed On House Arrest

TMZ reports that the multi-platinum rapper, real name Earl Simmons, got an earful when he showed up for his bond hearing on Friday, August 11, 30 minutes late. DMX is out on bond in his tax evasion case, but isn't making it easy for the judge not to throw him in jail.

He's allegedly failed four drug tests for cocaine and marijuana. In addition, X violated another condition of his bond by leaving New York City to take care of some family matters in St. Louis, without getting court permission first.

DMX is currently facing 14 counts of evading more than $1 million in federal taxes. If convicted he could be sentenced to 44 years in federal prison.

Kanye West Sues Lloyds Of London For $10 Million

Kanye West is looking to recoup money lost when he had to cancel dates on his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour. The rapper's company, Very Good Touring, has filed a $9.8 million lawsuit against Lloyds of London for failing to cover the funds lost on the crossed out dates.

TMZ reports that VTG claims in court documents that it had an insurance policy with Lloyds to cover cancellation or non-appearance fees. They blame West's alleged marijuana use for the cancelled dates. Very Good Touring says Lloyds has no proof to back up their accusation and is just looking for "any ostensible excuse no matter how fanciful" to deny payment on the policy.

Rich Homie Quan Arrested

Quan and five members of his entourage were arrested Saturday, May 27, in Wadley, Georgia, after being pulled over at a police checkpoint. Police allegedly found a stolen gun, weed and pills they suspected were ecstasy.

TMZ reports that the 27-year old rapper, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, will not being facing weapons charges, but has been charged with felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute. The drugs being marijuana. It's not clear how much weed was found during the bust.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Chief Keef

TMZ reports that the Chicago rapper, born Keith Cozart, failed to show up in court to be arraigned for his DUI and weed possession case, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest. The "I Don't Like" hit maker was busted last month by the Miami Beach Police, during a traffic stop. Cops claim he was stopped because they allegedly witnessed a weed deal between a passenger in Keef's vehicle and another car.

During a subsequent search, marijuana was found in the second vehicle. Keef allegedly told officers, "It's okay. When you find weed in my urine I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card." Keef was charged with felony DUI after failing a field sobriety test.

Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci has been arrested! According to reports, police tried to pull him over while he was driving in downtown Atlanta but YFN Lucci allegedly didn't comply at first. YFN Lucci spent a bit of time in police custody on Saturday, April 1. In fact, the ATL rapper's arrest is said to have involved drama. YFN Lucci drops his new EP Long Live Nut tomorrow.

Additionally, it has been reported that authorities found three weapons, while also noting that the car smelled like marijuana, even though no substance was found in the vehicle. Interestingly enough, the rapper was later released and flew on a private jet just in time to make his show in Ocala, Florida around 2AM.

60 Ounces Of Weed Donated To Goodwill

Employees at a Washington Goodwill center were sorting through donations earlier this week when they came upon a cooler containing 60 ounces of marijuana.

Goodwill workers often attest to discovering odds and ends, at times recovering cash left in the pockets of pants and bags, but rarely is anything found in such abundance as was on Monday [March 13], in Monroe. "This is a reminder to check your purse, pockets, or cooler to make sure you're donating the items you mean to," Goodwill spokesperson Katherine Boury said following the incident.

Recreational marijuana is legal in marijuana, but can only be carried in one-ounce quantities, by persons over 21 years old. Thus, whoever left the five large bags containing the drug would have stood to be prosecuted if they were busted with it in their possession. According to authorities who've attempted to track the cooler's owner down, many have suggested that the donation might have been theirs, but none have come forward with the admission. "There are many people on social media claiming it's theirs, but we have yet to have one walk through the door," said Debbie Willis of the Monroe Police Department.

Paul Wall And Baby Bash Facing Prison Time

After their arrest last week, Paul Wall and Baby Bash faced a judge in court on Tuesday (December 27) about felony drug charges. The two entertainers were arrested in a drug bust at a smoke shop that was advertised on Instagram. According to KENS5, two officers paid to get into the event and saw large amounts of THC wax, marijuana, and pills.

While Paul was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance with internet to deliver, it has since been changed to engaging in an organized crime with possession for intent to deliver THC. Both Paul Wall and Baby Bash will have to submit to random drug tests as part of their bond.

If Paul Wall and Baby Bash are convicted on first degree felony drug charges, they could face a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of life.

Say something if negotiations aren't going the way you like. How often do you express to your partner exactly what you want or why you want it? When was the last time you shared with your partner how you feel when you get the thing you need? Well, how can you expect to get what it is you want if you don’t ask for it? How can you even expect to receive the things you say you want if you are not physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually present within the relationship to receive them?

Now, there are times when you must remove yourself from a relationship. However, this is not what I am talking about. I am talking about when you remove yourself by taking your mind, your body, your heart, your soul out of where you are being loved because you are not getting what you have not asked for. Removing yourself in that way is not only self-destructive, but you can ensure you will never get the very thing you say you want. Is it because you may not believe you deserve those things you long to ask for?

Young Dro Arrested

A visit to Georgia Southern University didn't go as planned for Bankhead rapper Young Dro over the weekend, with reports confirming that he was arrested on campus. Dro, whose name is D'Juan Montrel Hart, was reportedly booked into Bulloch County jail on weapons charges, on Sunday, [August 28].

Details on the circumstances leading up to the "Shoulder Lean" rappers arrest have yet to surface, but what is known is that he was charged with carrying a weapon in a school safety zone, possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule V controlled substance. Due to his criminal record, Dro was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Young Dro was present on the GSU campus as an invited guest, as he was scheduled to perform at the Statesboro Summer Jam, held at Georgia Southern's Performing Arts Center.
