Drillz Millz (@DrillzMillz) - "Some Type Of Way" (Album)

Chicago Legend Drillz Millz drops his latest project, "Some Type of Way" Drillz Millz is an American trap artist/producer/songwriter from the Southside of Chicago. As a producer, he fuses sounds and beats that can only be categorized as "Hypnotic Illinoize"- an homage to his home state. As a songwriter, he serves his fans a "Chi" dose of reality and what his life consists of regularly. As an artist, he fearlessly delivers raw verses off the dome. Drillz Millz attracts attention for his insane bars on guest album appearances featuring his labelmates. The magic began when Drillz experimented with mixing trap beats and electronic rock sounds while he focused on producing music that made more sense to him as an artist. His unique approach to Hip-hop quickly led him to a reunion with rapper/producer Loot G, who invited him to be a part of 'Outstanding Members' for production/rap collaborations. The two instantly had chemistry, and the rest is history. This time, the Chicago legend's latest compilation is "Some Type of Way." The 7-track album is inspired and dedicated to his Brother, Demetrius Framer, better known as "Meat Dogg." The tracks "Fake Love, Steady Bussin, and 4 Corner Kitchen" have collectively amassed over 265,374 streams on Spotify. KINGDOM3 is an arrangement of tracks that showcases Dom 2 Timez life experiences though all his failures and success. One of most unique storytelling artist out right now.
Dom 2 Timez is not like any other ordinary artist. Best known for his storytelling ability, Dom is applying pressure this year in 2022. After 2 years of waiting for his third installment, KINGDOM3 is finally released.  KINGDOM3 has appearances from  SamaraCyn, Malachiae, and Da Only Mo following his latest EP Back & Better. With Dom’s next three months being filled with radio interviews, video shoots, and his private listening tour, Dom has still found time in his busy schedule to work of his highly anticipated upcoming album. Dom wanted to surprise his fans with a project that highlights his life through all the failures and success he's experienced throughout the years. People are already comparing Dom 2 Timez to the great J.Cole with his lyrical style and Kanye West with his creative mindset with producing tracks.
Dom 2 Timez has been riding a wave of momentum as of late. As the independent artist geared up for his KINGDOM3 PRIVATE LISTENING TOUR, Dom had hit 4 different states playing KINGDOM3 in 4 different priavte lsitening. The following private listenings were held in AZ, IN, OH, & GA. Not only has the rapper been busy behind the scenes, Dom has been featured in  Shoutout Arizona, produced "Bars 3" by Action Pack,  and was recently featured on HiphHopCanada. These are just a few of the new milestones Dom has added to his already impressive resumé. Dom 2 Timez shows no signs of slowing down and plans to keep the momentum going with KINGDOM3. One thing about Dom is he doesn't shy away from talking about not being apart of a major label or having a team around to help him. Instead he embraces the moments of not having the huge support or backing. He literally does everything from producing his own tracks, shooting/editing his videos, graphic designing his merchandise, booking his shows, and even developing his own website. KINGDOM3 is available on all streaming platforms such as SoundcloudApple MusicSpotify and anywhere else KINGDOM3 can be found. This project is just an album & not a Deluxe for Dom 2 Timez, so if you are a fan, you haven’t heard anything just yet. Be on the lookout in the following months for the Deluxe release on www.Dom2Timez.com

Big K.R.I.T. (@BIGKRIT) - "Digital Roses Don't Die" (Album)

Have you ever been in the kind of relationship that makes you want to sing? By the sounds of Digital Roses Don’t Die, revered Mississippi MC and producer Big K.R.I.T. has. And if he’s not in that relationship at the moment, he’s done his best to immortalize it across a 17-track follow-up to 2019’s K.R.I.T. IZ HERE. Save for maybe “It’s Over Now,” the whole of the project is about how special K.R.I.T. thinks a particular someone is. Love is the message, and he’s pushed his voice to the outer reaches of funky R&B crooning to deliver it. We don’t actually get a name for the object of his affection, but he details the phases of his infatuation, including crushing (“Just 4 You,” “Cum Out to Play”), courtship (“Southside of the Moon,” “Show U Right”), and full-blown lovesickness (“So Cool,” “Boring,” “More Than Roses”). Moments of actual rapping are few and far between here, but bars reveal themselves in the interludes, each of which contain spoken-word poetry. - via Apple Music

Casket D. (@CASKET_MGB) - "HEALER" (Album)

For his 3rd solo studio effort Casket D gifts us with "HEALER". A poignant concept album filled with honesty, inspiration and tutelage. Casket delivers his expertise of life over soulful instrumentals flooded with heavy drums. The production flows beautifully throughout. The features are precise. His lyrics are sharp and crisp, confidence apparent, deliberately vulnerable yet wise beyond years and determined. At just under an hour (54 minutes) of listening time "HEALER" makes a strong case for not only the best to come from Casket D thus far, but arguably the absolute best in Hip-Hop this year.
