Mexican Cartel Dumps 10 Corpses Outside of the Governor's Office

With his sons on the run from the Mexican government and the U.S. federal government, El Chapo's drug trafficking empire appears to be up for grabs. The stakes are highest in the Northern region of Mexico because of its proximity to the United States. Thus, the governing bodies from the two neighboring countries have worked together very closely ever since Mexico declared its war on the drug cartels back in 2006.

The joint attempt to topple America's number one supplier of cocaine and heroin has been met with serious resistance in the past. A drug cartel in Northern Mexico recently made a bold statement to the governor of Zacatecas that they will not go quietly into the night.

According to reports, the cartel abandoned a Mazda SUV with ten corpses right in front of the governor David Monreal's office in Zacatecas. A city where four off-duty officers were murdered three months ago. The body count in the abandoned SUV included eight men and two women. The autopsy suggests that they all died of asphyxiation by strangulation. Since then, two arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
