Lil Wayne's Carter V Sets High Records

Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne was able to move an impressive amount of units with 480,000 equivalent album sales earned from Sept. 28 - Oct. 4. That tally marks the third biggest seven-day stretch for an album in 2018. The 433 million on-demand audio streams accrued are good enough for the second biggest streaming week of the year. The charting marks Tune's fourth No. 1 album following Tha Carter III, I Am Not a Human Being and Tha Carter IV.

There was really no doubt that Wayne would snatch the No. 1 spot. Fans have been waiting on C5 for nearly half a decade. Weezy came through with a hefty 23-song offering with guest appearances from XXXTentacion, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and more, and production from Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Mannie Fresh, Cool & Dre and others.
