How sick is this? A deranged dad chucked his 2-year-old child off a second-story Florida motel balcony early Tuesday after he became “frustrated” with his little boy. Both survived the fall at the Budget Inn in Kissimmee and the disturbed dad, Juan Pablo Maradiaga, 41, now faces an attempted murder charge.
Cops say surveillance video shows the enraged Maradiaga throw the little boy 25 feet out over the parking lot from second-story balcony 12 feet above the ground. Seconds later, the unhinged father jumped as well. The young boy’s face was covered in blood when cops and paramedics arrived, while Maradiaga had a broken leg, with part of the bone sticking out of his skin.
Both were flown to nearby hospitals and the tot suffered a fractured right arm, a fractured right orbital bone in his face, abrasions on his stomach and a bump on his head. The affidavit reports that Maradiaga, who had been questioned about possible domestic violence three times in 2010, smelled of alcohol.
