How Jay-Z created a hip-hop path to luxury

This past Monday, rapper Jay-Z unveiled a deal with LVMH to expand his Armand de Brignac champagne globally. The next day, Oatly, the Swedish vegan-milk group in which he has invested, took its first step towards a $10bn initial public offering.

Jay-Z has further tasks to occupy him, apart from his own music. He still heads Roc Nation, a music and sports talent agency that includes Rihanna among its clients. He is also “chief visionary officer” of a special-purpose company backed by Roc Nation that acquired two Californian cannabis groups in November. And so on.

This year is the 25th anniversary of Jay-Z’s first album Reasonable Doubt, released on his own Roc-A-Fella Records label. Some have lasted and some not, but Jay-Z was ahead of his time in business in a way that is only now clear. “Put me anywhere on God’s green Earth, I triple my worth,” he once rapped. The deal with LVMH, under which the world’s leading luxury group has taken 50 per cent of Armand de Brignac — the “Ace of Spades” champagne praised in his lyrics — is proof of that.

Jennifer Lopez tops Google’s list

Jennifer Lopez, is the top searched Golden Globes red carpet star since 2010, according to a new report from Google examining trending searches related to the awards show over the past decade.

J.Lo has attended the awards show five times since 2010; her look from the 2015 ceremony, a silver beaded caftan-style gown by Zuhair Murad, emerged as that year’s top searched fashion moment.

Other highlights from the “Hustlers” star’s fashion reign at the Globes include her sexy sheer lace look from 2013 (also by Murad), her sunny yellow Giambattista Valli Couture cape gown from 2016 and her bow-tied Valentino Haute Couture dress from 2020, which sparked comparisons to Christmas presents.

#FreeRkelly We Miss You R. Kelly! #SupportRKelly #Throwback #MusicVideo "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time"

Members of the Wrap Up Magazine want all fans and viewers to know that they are supporters of R. Kelly's music. Until he is convicted and evidence is shown, I say #FreeRKelly.

"If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time" is a song by R. Kelly, released as the fifth single from his 1998 album, R. The song is a sweeping ballad about a man wishing he could go back in time and repair his relationship with his girlfriend. The song was a top 10 hit on the pop charts of several countries, while in the United States it finished just outside the top 10, peaking at number 12.

Mitchell Charles Johnson, better known by his stage name Paperboy, is an American rapper. He is best known for his single "Ditty." It is the opening track on the album and was issued as the album's lead single.

"Ditty" is a song by American rapper Paperboy from his debut studio album The Nine Yards. When Mitchell “Paperboy” Johnson thought of the concept for “Ditty,” he couldn't have possibly imagined it becoming the seminal hit that it did.
