Tyler Perry Studios For Sale

The move is a big sign that Perry is close to closing on a large portion of Fort McPherson, which he plans to turn into a large new movie studio. “This deal is getting ready to fall apart because of the time it’s taken to get done,” Reed told the city council April 20. “We are at a moment when we need to close.”

Atlanta City Council approved a deal that would allow Mayor Kasim Reed to extend a $13 million line of credit required by the U.S. Army to clean up 22 acres of contaminated brownfields on the site, which will be necessary in order to turn 330 acres of Fort McPherson’s 488 acres into sound stages.

Why Prejudice Still Lives

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) I am a African American who was born in Mississippi. I have encountered various types of racism. One thing I have learned is that it's all in how you were raised. I get criticized because I am married to a white woman and have mixed children.

I have come to find out that there are more blacks prejudice than whites. For some reason, blacks believe that whites owe them something for bringing them here! But I say Thank You! Without the white man bringing our ancestors to America, I would not be able to own my own house website, or business.

When people talk about cops killing blacks, I turn the other cheek. Due to the fact that I feel cops are afraid of blacks just as blacks are afraid of cops. We are almost in a civil war, not because of whats going on, but how the media portrays it. Why is it than when a black person get shot by a cop it's blasted all over the media? But when the same thing happens to a white person, you hear nothing.

I'm not taking any sides, just giving my 2 cents on the matter.
