#Throwback Mariah Carey - Fantasy #Remix Ft O.D.B.

Mariah Carey's catalog is the stuff pop divas-in-the-making can only dream of. The two came together in the most unlikely of ways.

Mariah Carey was a 25-year-old, squeaky clean diva-in-training who belted out a string of No. 1 singles about finding your inner hero, visions of love and being rescued by a “dreamlover.”

Written by Carey alongside producer Dave Hall, the remix re-tooled the song in a great way. Simply put, the Puffy-produced mix with O.D.B. and Mariah displayed an unlikely chemistry that worked like babies and pacifiers.

#Throwback #MusicVideo Nelly, Kelly Rowland - Dilemma

Featuring Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child, this song is about a girl who thinks about another guy even when she's with her boyfriend. Nelly and Kelly act this out in the video, but also in the song, as they sing to each other by name.

This was the first big release for Kelly Rowland away from her group, Destiny's Child. Nelly was an established star and hot on the charts, but Rowland was not widely known on her own. This was a good way to introduce her as a solo artist and get her ready for her first album.

The song depicts the declaration of forbidden love by a female lover in a committed relationship, and the predicament the male protagonist must face. Once Nellyville was released in the United States on June 25, 2002, radio programmers started playing "Dilemma". By July 2002, the track had reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 based on airplay alone.
