Best Margarita Recipes
Do you want it frozen or on the rocks? Salt or sugar rim? Fruit-flavored or classic? While purists will argue that there's only one true way to drink one, we believe that part of the fun of the drink is the variety.
Margaritas are deceptively simple — tequila, lime, and some orange liqueur — but there are about as many varieties as there are reasons to drink one. Maybe sometimes you want a frozen blueberry margarita with a salt rim, other days, you go classic. And some days, you just want it all.

Strawberry and basil are a classic summer combo for a reason. Do yourself a favor and blend a batch of these up on a warm day, find a rooftop, and kick your feet up.
In a blender, combine the avocado, crushed ice, agave nectar, tequila, triple sec and cilantro sprigs; blend until smooth. Pour the margarita into the prepared glasses. Garnish the rims of the glasses with lime wedges.
In a blender, puree the watermelon and sugar until smooth. Pour the puree through a fine mesh strainer. Transfer the liquid to a pitcher and add the lime juice, tequila and 4 ounces of the Triple Sec. Stir to combine.

The World Most Luxurious Hotel
Stay at Burj Al Arab and explore more than a hotel. Burj Al Arab is one of the luxury hotels of the world and the famous tourist landmarks in Dubai with underwater aquarium restaurant. It is the fourth tallest hotel in the world.
The Burj Al Arab from afar looks as if it’s about to sail into the Arabian Sea on a windy day. The Burj Al Arab calls itself the "World's Most Luxurious Hotel"—and for good reason. In its relatively short tenure on the Dubai coastline this legendary and symbolic hotel has attracted international attention.

The Most Rat-Infested Home Video
1 in 9 privately-rented homes in England has problems with rats, mice or cockroaches - according to housing charity Shelter. They asked 3,700 tenants about their living conditions and almost half said they had endured mould, damp or electrical hazards in the past year.
Shelter wants the government to do more to protect renters from rogue landlords. Anna Adams went to north east London to visit Ruth Edmans who said she had problems with rats, dangerous sockets and other issues. Her landlord told us he had been unable to carry out work while tenants were there and he was working with the council to start remedial works.

The Largest Spiral Escalator Ever Video
This shopping mall has to be amazing. Architects of the world, give up now: The world’s largest spiral escalator has already been built in this Shanghai shopping mall. Reaching seven stories and resembling a shiny golden drill the size of a skyscraper, the escalators are a matching pair of two spiral staircases with a total of 12 curved escalator pieces. The two were designed and built by Mitsubishi Electric of Japan. Actually, if you dig around about the (very few) spiral escalators in the world, you’ll find that Mitsubishi makes them all.
There’s a reason for this niche market approach: Spiral escalators are absolutely terrifying to design, which probably makes sense if you remember your lessons from physics class. You see, when escalators try to move in a circular pattern, horizontal speed varies across the width of the escalator from the inner side to the outer side. You can’t have one side of the escalator moving a different rate from the other side, not if you want it to stay in one piece.

Scientists Discover Another Earth
NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope recently discovered an Earth-like planet orbiting a nearby star within the habitable zone of our galaxy. Kepler-186f is approximately 500 light-years from Earth in the Cygnus constellation.
The habitable zone, also known as the Goldilocks zone, is the region around a star within which planetary-mass objects with sufficient atmospheric pressure can support liquid water at their surfaces. While it has been estimated that there are at least 40 billion Earth-sized planets orbiting in our Milky Way Galaxy, this particular discovery is labeled the first Earth-sized planet to be found in the habitable zone of another star.

A Place For Pedestrians
Chongqing is one of China’s biggest and fastest growing cities with a population of around 11 million people. In recent years, pedestrianised streets have been turned into motorways in the Chinese metropolis Chongqing. Now the city council is returning the streets to pedestrians and cyclists, and has teamed up with a Danish urban planner.
Chongqing has developed in the same way as hundreds of other Chinese metropolises: skyscrapers shoot up everywhere, while old buildings are demolished. Cars have taken over with multi-lane motorways, while pedestrians and cyclists have been displaced.
But now the citizens of Chongqing are about to reclaim their streets. Chongqing city council has teamed up with the Danish urban research and design consulting firm Gehl Architects, which pecialises in pedestrianised streets and pedestrian-friendly urban spaces.
The objective is to create an interconnected pedestrian network through central Chongqing, which like Manhattan in New York, consists of a peninsula between two rivers. This can be achieved by making urban routes recognisable and easy to navigate, for example by using uniform paving, good lighting and signposting, and setting up benches and similar urban furniture.
Denmark has long had a liking for pedestrian-friendly city spaces. 50 years ago, one of the world’s first carfree pedestrianised streets, Strøget, was established in the capital city Copenhagen. At 1.1 kilometres in length, it remains one of Europe’s longest pedestrianised streets.
The same backlash against the domination of the car is being seen in China. Urban planners, mayors and citizens are all insisting on better conditions for pedestrians in cities. Kristian Villadsen comments that the same themes which have developed in the West are also emerging in China today, i.e. to create attractive, vibrant, safe, sustainable and healthy cities:
“In China, people are very good at using public transport, but if public transport is seen only as a means of transporting the greatest possible number of people from A to B and it is forgotten that people don’t live at the station but also have to get there, it won’t function. Public transport then becomes solely for those who don’t have a car”.

Top 3 Pizza Restaurants In Charlotte, NC
Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the greatest places to eat pizza. The Wrap-Up Magazine has released the top the pizza restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina. First up was Tony's pizza.
In the great New York style vs. everything else argument, this is a place that you can use as a great argument in favor of the thin, floppy New York pizza.
The CLT location of Tony's is just one of those old school, sit-and-have-some-love kinds of pizza parlors that are sadly becoming a thing of the past. The pizza, garlic bread and anything else you have the privilege of trying will just taste like smiles.
Second on the list is Riccio’s pizza villa. While the rest of the Italian menu is bang-up and great, you're going to want all of their garlic knots. Just the entire lot of it -- back the truck on up to the table. The pizza itself holds great company as some of the best around. Riccio’s is why you go out of your way for independent and local business.
Last but sure not least, is Luigi's Pizza restaurant. Places like this are what the world needs more of. Walk in, say "gimmie two slices and a beer" and bing, pow, boom -- there you go.
They're not messing around, just giving you the serious New York style pizza that you shouldn't live another day without. The friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and super-reasonable prices are all great justification for having every dinner for the rest of your life here.
