R. Kelly New Album Is Complete

R. Kelly has been surrounded in controversy since the New Year began. According to Billboard, the singer has a new album that's already been recorded and he's looking for a distributor to release it.

Expect a new album from R. Kelly in the near future, whether you like it or not. The singer's plotting on releasing a new album that's already been completed.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that he and Sony's RCA Records parted ways. However, he did manage to score a win in his deal. The singer reportedly reclaimed the ownership of his unreleased music including the new album he plans on releasing once he finds a distributor.

The announcement of RCA's split from R. Kelly came two weeks after the six-part docu-series aired earlier this month that detailed several allegations of misconduct over the years.

Kellz has maintained his innocence but more women have stepped forward with allegations against him. Most recently, his ex-girlfriend came out accusing the singer of throwing her into another wall for allegedly looking at another man.

Filmed and directed by Collective Films LLC, Pricy takes his talents to San Francisco to bring his single to life. With the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, Pricy delivers quotable bars from start to finish over the self-produced soulful beat. Doubling back for his second album of 2022, Pricy previews his new album "9:19 pm" after dropping his debut project "No Game, No Glory" this past February. 

Pricy shows his ear for samples and eclectic taste for music on his new album, chopping up songs from his childhood and adolescent years and giving them a new 2022 spin. Rumors are that Lima, Ohio rapper Nieman Marcus (Gansta Marcus) is in the making of a new digital album and mix-tape. This comes after several new releases remixing artist songs such as +50 Cent +DeJ Loaf +RICK ROSS and more.

In his own words "I will be using The Wrap-Up Magazine to host the new album. Catapult Distribution will be the source of the release. DJ Sippitakeover will be the main host with various colabs from new and old artist I have been working with."

Competition has always played a big role in hip hop. Battle rhymes, diss songs, trying to outshine someone on his own song, it’s all in the spirit of competition.

But in the mid-90s, the competition in New York was especially heavy. Let’s think about the rappers were coming up at that time – you had Nas and Big both releasing landmark debuts in ’94, Mobb Deep damn bringing all of Queensbridge wherever they went, Raekwon with The Purple Tape and the rest of Wu-Tang by his side. Most of the rappers on our greatest of all time list came on the ’90s East Coast.
