#BehindTheMusic With Eminem And Elton John's Hit Single

When it comes to Eminem, what song is greater than 'Stan? '"Stan" has been called one of Eminem's best songs and is considered one of his signature songs. But do you know the true reason behind the song? Lets find out!

Rapper Eminem and pop legend Elton John have shared a close friendship since first coming together for a duet of Eminem's song "Stan" at the 2001 Grammys.

As many industry observers expected, news of Eminem’s Grammy honors (even before the duet announcement) triggered a storm of protest from activist groups such as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), which released a statement saying that it was ”appalled that John would share the stage with Eminem, whose words and actions promote hate and violence” against gays and lesbians.

Jennifer Lopez accused of copying Beyoncé

From the outfit to the hair to the chair dancing and lighting, Jennifer Lopez's American Music Awards performance Sunday night looked very familiar to some.

The singer performed a sexy duet Sunday night with male artist Maluma at the awards show and social media immediately started pointing out the similarities to Beyoncé's 2014 Grammys performance with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.

Lopez sported a black body suit with cutouts for "Pa' Ti" and "Lonely" much like Beyoncé did when she sang "Drunk In Love" at the Grammys.

R. Kelly Has Been Indicted

I can't believe it myself! R. Kelly was charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual abuse involving multiple victims in a Chicago court Friday after decades of rumors and allegations that the R&B star was abusing women and underage girls.

Kelly has denied allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls for decades. Neither Kelly’s legal representative nor the Cook County prosecutor's office immediately responded to Fox News’ request for comment on the charges.

Top 5 Best R. Kelly Songs

The singer, whose full name is Robert Kelly, is one of the top-selling recording artists of all time. He has won multiple Grammys, including for his hit song "I Believe I Can Fly." His arrest sets the stage for another #MeToo-era celebrity trial after Bill Cosby went to prison last year, as former Hollywood studio boss Harvey Weinstein is awaiting trial.

Kelly was charged a week after Michael Avenatti, the attorney whose clients have included porn star Stormy Daniels, said he recently gave Chicago prosecutors new video evidence of the singer having sex with an underage girl. It was not immediately clear if the charges were connected to that video.

Dame Dash Talks Jay-Z, Aaliyah And R. Kelly

In 2008, a jury acquitted Kelly of child pornography charges over a graphic video that prosecutors said showed him having sex with a girl as young as 13. He and the young woman allegedly depicted with him denied they were in the 27-minute video, even though the picture quality was good and witnesses testified it was them, and she did not take the stand. Kelly could have gotten 15 years in prison.

Kelly has been accused of holding women and girls against their will in Chicago, where he has a recording studio, and Georgia, where he has property.

Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg, said earlier this year that his client was the victim of a TV hit piece and that Kelly "never knowingly had sex with an underage woman, he never forced anyone to do anything, he never held anyone captive, he never abused anyone."

Despite accusations that span decades, the singer and songwriter who rose from poverty on Chicago's South Side has retained a sizable following. He has written numerous hits for himself and other artists, including Celine Dion, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga. His collaborators have included Jay-Z and Usher.

Kelly broke into the R&B scene in 1993 with his first solo album, "12 Play," which produced such popular sex-themed songs as "Bump N' Grind" and "Your Body's Callin'."

Months after those successes, the then-27-year-old Kelly faced allegations he married 15-year-old Aaliyah, the R&B star who later died in a plane crash in the Bahamas. Kelly was the lead songwriter and producer of Aaliyah's 1994 debut album.

Kelly and Aaliyah never confirmed the marriage, though Vibe magazine published a copy of the purported marriage license. Court documents later obtained by The Chicago Sun-Times showed Aaliyah admitted lying about her age on the license.

Jim DeRogatis, a longtime music critic for the Sun-Times, played a key role in drawing the attention of law enforcement to Kelly. In 2002, he received the sex tape in the mail that was central to Kelly's 2008 trial. He turned it over to prosecutors. In 2017, DeRogatis wrote a story for BuzzFeed about the allegations Kelly was holding women against their will in Georgia.

Beyonce's "Lemonade" Wins Album of the Decade

The Associated Press has named their Top 15 albums of the decade and Beyoncé’s 2016 opus Lemonade is number one. According to the international news agency’s music editor Mesfin Fekadu, the international global icon was riding the wave of success for much of the earlier part of the decade with numerous Grammy Awards.

At the beginning of this decade, Beyoncé was already the greatest singer of her generation. She won a record six Grammys in a single night, had women AND MEN “oh-oh-oh’ing” to the fun sound of “Single Ladies” and continued to be a beast of a performer.

The usually private Beyoncé bares her soul on the album, singing about a troubled relationship, black pride and motherhood in a brave way. Lyrically, she’s on point and honest over beats and sounds that range from rap to rock to country and pop. “Who the (expletive) do you think I am,” she brashly asks on “Don’t Hurt Yourself,” which co-stars Jack White. The answer: the greatest of all time.

You can listen or stream the album below!

Questionable Things Everyone Just Ignores About J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez's breakout role in 1997's Selena made her a bona fide superstar. The singer-actress' career has since withstood the test of time. But being in the public eye for so long can come with its own set of grievances, partly because Jennifer Lopez has made some controversial decisions.

Jennifer Lopez stunned viewers when she performed during the 2019 Grammy Awards. With the internet abuzz, some commenters were in disbelief that the music starlet was turning 50 that same year, while others focused on something else. Mainly, that the Latina singer was performing a Motown dance tribute.

Understand Whitney Houston And Dolly Parton Hit Song "I Will Always Love You"

Most fans of Whitney Houston today never knew she was connected to country music singer Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston will undoubtedly remain connected through their smash hit song “I Will Always Love You.”

"I Will Always Love You" was the second of five consecutive #1 Country hits that Parton had after establishing herself as a solo artist. Parton later recorded a second version of this song for the 1982 film The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, which she starred in along with Burt Reynolds. The second version not only became a #1 Country hit (like the first version), but also became a crossover hit, reaching #53 on the Hot 100.

When this song was chosen for the 1992 film The Bodyguard, it proved to be a huge benefit for both Parton and Whitney Houston. For Houston, it provided her signature song, showcasing her otherworldly talents as a singer. Her version became a worldwide success in pop music, earning huge royalties for both artists. Dolly Parton's country ballad was now familiar to audiences of pop, soul, and adult contemporary.
