Lil Wayne, whose list is quite a doozy, containing both the expected picks and some left-field surprises that actually make sense when you consider his own unique approach to the art of rap. Wayne gave his answer in a special edition of What’s Wright? With Nick Wright, a podcast version of the Fox Sports personality’s popular show.
Almost as well known for his affinity for hip-hop as Wayne is for his sports referencing raps, Wright offers his own list (a pretty humdrum collection including the usual picks: Jay-Z, Tupac, Wayne himself, Kanye West, and T.I.), which Wayne says he respects. Then Wayne starts off his own list with a pick that far too few people include for my taste, Missy Elliott. Vindication!
Jennifer Lopez and Maluma have shared the soundtrack for their upcoming romantic comedy Marry Me, via Sony Latin Music and Arista Records.
Audri Nix has released her new single “No Siento Na.” Audri recently starred in the YouTube series Bravas, which premiered in October and released back-to-back singles “Lo Peor De Ti” and “Alejate.”
There calling him the leader of Wu-Tang Clan. RZA, or Bobby, as he is known to close friends and colleagues, had a particular way of putting beats to razer-sharp lyrics that made you feel part of a song’s creative process. Fans feel RZA’s music, both from Wu-Tang and his solo and collaborative efforts, on a cellular level.
An urban-bred intellectual who expresses through a mic or camera lens, RZA is considered prophetic to his community and perhaps a unicorn to mainstream culture. With a penchant for Eastern philosophy as is evident in the name Wu-Tang Clan and lyrical nods to Shaolin Kung Fu, RZA shared, “One thing I’m looking forward to doing in the near future… I’ve never been to India, and I have to check that one off,” referring to the top item on his bucket list. I recommended he connect with Indian author and yogi, Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, when he makes the trip. RZA is so well-read and well-versed, it felt novel giving him someone and something beyond his scope to Google.
Directed by RZA of Wu Tang, the movie is set after Hurricane Katrina, four boyhood friends out of options reluctantly accept an offer to pull off a dangerous heist in the heart of New Orleans. The film was released on August 21, 2020, by Well Go USA Entertainment, receiving mixed reviews from critics.
In December 2017, it was announced Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes, T.I., Eiza González, Demetrius Shipp Jr. Shameik Moore, Joel David Moore, Kat Graham, Rob Morgan, Keean Johnson, Denzel Whitaker, Isaiah Washington and Sam Daly had joined the cast of the film, with RZA directing.
"I think all of us during the quarantine were a little bit afraid of the kids just sitting in front of their electronics all day," Jennifer Lopez told CBS.
The singer performed a sexy duet Sunday night with male artist Maluma at the awards show and social media immediately started pointing out the similarities to Beyoncé's 2014 Grammys performance with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.
Lopez sported a black body suit with cutouts for "Pa' Ti" and "Lonely" much like Beyoncé did when she sang "Drunk In Love" at the Grammys.
Busta Rhymes has named the likes of Jay-Z and Eminem as potential Verzuz opponents. During a new interview with Complex, Busta was pressed on who he would like to face in the Verzus ring, with T.I. having previously declined a battle against the rapper.
“I would love to spar against anybody,” Busta replied. “As long as their catalogue is a powerful catalogue because I don’t want to do a corny Verzuz.
“I don’t wanna do no Verzuz with anybody whose catalogue isn’t crazy. And I would love to do a Verzuz with somebody that I’m a fan of because I’m only trying to compete with somebody that brings the best out of me.”
Jennifer Lopez doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon — and her enduring power and success have earned her yet another incredible honor.
The multi-hyphenate is being presented with WSJ. Magazine's Innovators Award for pop culture innovator of the year, PEOPLE can exclusively confirm. The honor will be given to Lopez by Columbian singer Maluma, 26, virtually on Wednesday night as WSJ. Magazine celebrates 10 years of innovation.
"Until the world is 100 percent perfect and completely fixed I will never be done," Lopez says in a clip from her acceptance video, which will be livestreamed.
What do Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez have in common? I mean, aside from being legendary music, dance, and style icons, they also happen to both love the same highlighter: Iconic London's Illuminator Liquid Highlight. That's right, the same $40 highlighter is responsible for some of the most glowing skin in the game.
Beyoncé is notoriously private, but over the years she has let slip some real gems about her beauty routine, like details on the $10 mascara she wore during her legendary Beychella performance, and the secret to her “Teflon face” that lasts through three-hour concerts. And earlier this fall, it was revealed that her makeup artist Rokael Lizama used Iconic London's highlighter for her candlelit glow in the Black Is King visual album.
That news was enough to make us want to get our hands on it immediately, but that desire was only intensified when J.Lo was recently spotted in the same highlighter in her new music video for “Pa Ti.” In addition to its superstar stamp of approval, the illuminator's versatility is another selling point that had us dying to try it.
Jennifer Lopez's Pa Ti + Lonely official music videos have been released and we want to know what fans have to say about them. Pa' Ti" and "Lonely are two songs recorded by American singer Jennifer Lopez and Colombian singer Maluma.
The clip opens with “Pa’ Ti.” In the visual, Lopez is a billionaire who’s living the lavish life, while Maluma serves as her bodyguard, as they sing in Spanish over seductive song vibes. Lopez luxuriates in her mansion, while Maluma stares into an empty refrigerator. Turns out, the pair are also lovers and the plot thickens when it’s revealed that she is under investigation for shady business dealings. Despite Maluma’s seemingly caring, watchful eye over her at work, and later as they share intimate moments in her mansion and on a roof, he’s working undercover.
