Cross Dressing Mafia Boss Arrested

Gionta was arrested by plain clothes policemen at the Sicilian port of Pozzallo as he tried to board a ferry for Malta using false papers. Agents found €1,000.- in his pockets. A man and two women who were accompanying Gionta were also placed under arrest. All four are now in a prison in Syracuse, Sicily. It is unknown whether Gionta was planning on staying in Malta or only using it as a short stop on his way to North Africa.

As a fugitive you have to be creative to remain a free man. Even when that means dressing up as a woman every now and then. Just ask 42-year-old Camorra boss Aldo Gionta. Gionta is the leader of the Torre Annunziata clan of Sant’Antonio Abate. A Naples clan that was founded by his father, Valentino Gionta (right), who is currently in prison under the 41-bis law, which is reserved for Italy's most dangerous gangsters. He was convicted of ordering the murder of journalist Giancarlo Siani.

Most of Valentino’s relatives were arrested in a huge anti-Mafia operation in November of 2008 targeting the Torre Annunziata clan in Naples. Around 80 clan members were charged with mafia association, murder, extortion, and drug trafficking. Among them was Aldo Gionta, then 36.

Italian prosecutors indicated that the clan made € 170,000 per day from trafficking drugs alone and that the Gionta clan is among Italy’s most prolific narcotics smugglers. Authorities seized € 80 million worth of properties consisting of 11 companies operating in the construction sector, sportswear, and wholesale seafood products, 63 apartments, cars, and personal items of significant value such as gold jewelry.

Locked up with nowhere to go, Gionta continued to be a wiseguy through and through. In various letters he sent while behind bars in the Opera prison in Milan, Gionta turned to his son Valentino, Jr., urging him to “learn to shoot with a Kalashnikov, then I'll tell you what to do.” And that his son had to “be smart, attentive to bugs. And not afford to do anything without my permission.”

While awaiting a verdict in his trial, Gionta, surprisingly enough, was allowed to go outside. A very lenient judge was sympathetic to Gionta’s pleas that he regretted his decisions in life. While Italy has cracked down on the Mafia it has left its various criminal organizations plenty of opportunities to get away with their age old business of racketeering and gangsterism. So, the judge gave Gionta a little bit more wiggle room.

It couldn’t have come as a huge surprise when Gionta (right) did not come in when he was ordered to. Italian authorities had yet another Mafia fugitive on their hands. And as one Bernardo Provenzano showed, those guys can play hide and seek like no one else.

Running from the police, Gionta wore wigs and dressed in women's clothing to avoid capture. An unusual move for an Italian Camorra boss. Yet it’s not something that hasn’t been done before. Infamous Dutch crime boss Stanley Hillis once fled the scene after a robbery by dressing up as a woman.

Pennsylvania Judge Sentenced To 28 Years

Mark Ciavarella Jr, a 61-year old former judge in Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison for literally selling young juveniles for cash. He was convicted of accepting money in exchange for incarcerating thousands of adults and children into a prison facility owned by a developer who was paying him under the table. The kickbacks amounted to more than $1 million.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has overturned some 4,000 convictions issued by him between 2003 and 2008, claiming he violated the constitutional rights of the juveniles – including the right to legal counsel and the right to intelligently enter a plea. Some of the juveniles he sentenced were as young as 10-years old.

Ciavarella was convicted of 12 counts, including racketeering, money laundering, mail fraud and tax evasion. He was also ordered to repay $1.2 million in restitution. His “kids for cash” program has revealed that corruption is indeed within the prison system, mostly driven by the growth in private prisons seeking profits by any means necessary.

Meek Mill Facing Prison Time

Meek Mill is going to court on Monday, November 6, to find out if he'll be disciplined for two recent arrests that could result in probation violations. The 30-year old Philadelphia rapper, born Robert Williams, was picked up at a St. Louis airport in March for an alleged fight. In August he was arrested in New York City, accused of reckless driving.

In February of 2016, Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley, sentenced Meek to 90 days house arrest and extended his probation by six years for leaving Philadelphia on several occasions without notifying his probation officer.

If Brinkley determines that the "House Party" hit maker has violated his probation again, she could impose a sentence of up to 20 months in prison, according to TMZ.

Mendeecees Freed

Star of +Love & Hip Hop +mendeecees harris has been freed from behind bars. As speculations swirled this season about the marital and paternity status of many cast members, viewers were perhaps most intrigued by one cast member whose voice was omnipresent but who went sight unseen during the entire season. Where was Mendeecees Harris? Why was he in prison? And when would he be released?

In January 2013 Mendeecees Harris was arrested and charged with narcotics conspiracy and money laundering. Specifically, Mr. Harris was charged with knowingly, willfully and unlawfully combining and conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine (Schedule I Substance) and 1 kilogram of heroin (Schedule II Substance). Such narcotics charges are punishable by a sentence of 10 years to life in prison, plus fines. While the laundering charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years, plus fines.

In conjunction with the documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the Court seized specific assets from Mr. Harris and his co-conspirators, including such valuables as a Hublot “King Power” in 18kt rose gold ($45,000) and Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date Chronometer in 18kt yellow gold ($40,000). All in all, federal authorities seized over $406,950 in jewelry. Authorities also seized countless sums from various safe deposit boxes (e.g. $488,900 in a Sovereign Bank safe deposit box, $300,200 in a Bank of America safe deposit box and $122,000 in a Chase safe deposit box).

During the recent reunion episode of Love and Hip-Hop New York, one notable cast member was missing from the raucous and name calling РMendeecees Harris. You may remember him as the fianc̩e of the multihyphenate cast member, Yandy Smith. Smith, a talent manager, was actually one of the creators of Love and Hip-Hop New York, in conjunction with her former boss, Mona Scott-Young.

Lil Boosie Official Release Date

Boosie was sent to prison on a probation violation and marijuana possession charges in 2009, and in 2011 his sentence was extended when he pleaded guilty for attempting to smuggle in narcotics. He had also been facing charges for the murder of Terry Boyd since 2009, but he was acquitted in 2012.

Rumors have been circulating for months that Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie, who has been incarcerated since 2009, would be returning home from prison soon. So far, however, an actual date has just been a matter of speculation. According to New OrleansNOLA.com, there’s now a date people can look forward to: August 18, 2014.

That’s the date on record with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, the publication reported. Based on a separate conversation with Pam Laborde, the agency’s communications director, NOLA.com added that Boosie will be under supervision until June 17, 2018. Congrads.. +LIL BOOSIE

Pimp C Ft Lil Wayne - 3 Way Freak

With partner Bun B, rapper Pimp C (born Chad Butler) formed UGK and helped put hardcore Houston, TX hip-hop in the spotlight, but he's also known for being at the center of a street-level campaign that sold nearly as many T-shirts as the "Yayo's Home" and "Frankie Say Relax" phenomena. UGK's rise began in 1988, and with a slow and steady series of albums and guest appearances, they became one of the most respected crews from Texas.

This all came to a halt in January 2002 when the rapper was sentenced to eight years in prison after violating probation by ignoring the community service sentence he had received from an earlier aggravated gun assault charge. Bun B carried on and spread the "Free Pimp C" message wherever he could. The campaign spawned thousands of unlicensed "Free Pimp C" T-shirts. In early 2005, while he was still on lockdown, Pimp C's solo debut, Sweet James Jones Stories, appeared, and it didn't take fans long to figure out that even if the beats were new, at least a quarter of the album was put together from previously released vocal tracks. At the end of the year, right before he reached the halfway mark of his sentence, Pimp C was released from prison.

61-Year-Old Man Arrest With 514lbs Of Marijuana

It sucks to say, but I believe I have friend who live the same lifestyle..lol. Police in Missouri recently arrested a 61-year-old man after a traffic stop and subsequent suspicious behavior on his behalf led to police searching his Chevy Suburban. Ricky Allan Martin was reportedly heading northbound on Interstate 29 when the highway patrol flagged him down. The officer requested to search Martin's vehicle which he said was rented in the "Nevada-California" area. Police grew further suspicious after his inability to provide the documentation proving when and where the vehicle was rented.

What officers found was 514 pounds of vacuum-sealed bricks of marijuana all found in the backseat of the vehicle. The 61-year-old was arrested and charged with first-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Martin, who was on parole after spending 13-years in prison on a robbery charge was immediately sent back to prison for violating the terms of his parole.

Meek Mill Sentenced To 2-4 Years In Prison

The 30-year old rapper, born Robert Williams, appeared before Brinkley in a Philadelphia courtroom, where she imposed a 2-4 year prison sentence. Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley, came down hard on Meek Mill Monday, November 6, after determining he violated his probation by getting arrested twice earlier this year.

The decision came down following Meek's March arrest in St. Louis for an alleged fight at an airport, and an August arrest in New York City, where he was accused of reckless driving. Both cases were later dropped, but Brinkley still decided that the "House Party" hit maker violated his probation, stemming from a 2009 drug and gun conviction.

R. Kelly Has Been Indicted

I can't believe it myself! R. Kelly was charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual abuse involving multiple victims in a Chicago court Friday after decades of rumors and allegations that the R&B star was abusing women and underage girls.

Kelly has denied allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls for decades. Neither Kelly’s legal representative nor the Cook County prosecutor's office immediately responded to Fox News’ request for comment on the charges.
