Who Are The Worst Rappers of All Time?

 


The "Greatest Rapper of All Time" title is one of the most prestigious monikers in the history of hip hop; it's also one of the most debated. In terms of innovation, there's no denying the importance of Rakim. 


When it comes to achieving commercial success during a pivotal time in the genre's infancy during the 1980s, names such as LL Cool and Run DMC are also mentioned among the best ever. When it comes to wordplay and storytelling, a strong argument can be made for emcees like Biggie, Big L, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. On the flip side, if being a generation-defining artist who makes classic album after classic album was a part of the criteria, then rappers such as 2Pac, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne also could lay claim to the title as well. But what about the opposite side of the spectrum? Who's the worst rapper of all time? And furthermore, what's the criteria?

Snoop Dogg continues to make history as a timeless figure in Hip Hop even nearly 30 years following the release of his debut album, Doggystyle.


According to Billboard, the rap deity joined some rare company this week when Snoop became only the third artist to earn a Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 spot in each of the decades from the 1990s through the 2020s.

How much is Master P worth?

 


While most of Master P's work in the music industry has been behind the scenes in recent years, he's often considered one of the richest rappers, surpassing even Snoop Dogg in his reported net worth.


To understand how Master P became so wealthy, you have to look at his long career, beyond what he's done with music. He founded his first record label, No Limit Records, in 1991, signing big names like Snoop Dogg and Mystikal.


His music group, TRU, then took off that decade, releasing his own music outside of TRU and continuing work for his record label. In that same 10-year span, he also played for two professional basketball teams.

Master P and Baron Davis are in talks to buy shoe brand Reebok

 


The rapper Master P and former NBA All-Star Baron Davis have jointly entered into negotiations with parent company Adidas to acquire the once-mighty shoe brand Reebok, which is reportedly on sale for some $2.4billion.


Master P is the stage name of Percy Robert Miller, a 53-year-old rapper, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur whose net worth is said to be valued at $200million.


Davis, 41, is a retired former professional basketball player who played 15 seasons for various teams, including Charlotte, New Orleans, Golden State, the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland, and New York.

Lima, Ohio music producer and artist Gansta Marcus has listed his top five favorite artist of all time.

'These are not just my favorite rappers just because of the music they make, but also how there fans stay loyal. I am apart of various Facebook groups, so I can see what's going on inside the minds of music lovers.'

'Not only that, I am a PR for the website Wrap-Up Magazine. So when I create articles for these musicians, I can see one on one which artist has the most engagement and connection to fans.'

When asked who would be considered as his favorite rappers of all time, Gansta Marcus replied: 'There has been many artist over the decade who have come and gone. But none have stood out like Jay-Z, Eminem, Master P, Wu Tang and Nas for various odd reasons.'

Why Did No Limit Records Breakup?


In 2004, the reorganized label had moved to Koch Records for distribution. From 2004 to 2005, The New No Limit Records issued new albums by Master P, Silkk the Shocker, C-Murder, Lil' Romeo and the reformed TRU.

These are just a few events that happened during the rise of No Limit Records. Percy “Master P” Miller had one of the most historic runs in Hip-Hop with his No Limit Records enterprise. Beginning in the early 1990s.

In 1999, Kane & Abel left from No Limit Records and started their own label entitled, Most Wanted Empire, later securing a new label deal with Elektra Records. On September 21, 1999, Kane & Abel released their fourth album, Rise to Power.

Inside Master P Lavish Lifestyle


Master P was born Percy Robert Miller on April 29, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Miller's early life was quickly disrupted by divorce, so he was raised by a single father and experienced poverty alongside four siblings. He lived in the Calliope Projects throughout his childhood. Memories of the challenges he faced in the projects eventually became catalysts for his artistic success. 

When he was 19, Miller married Sonya C and had nine children with her: Lil Romeo, Cymphonique, Tytyana, Italy, Veno, Young V, Hercy, Mercy and Inty. Lil Romeo, Cymphonique and Veno have worked in the entertainment industry.

"Woof" is a song by American rapper Snoop Dogg featuring Fiend and Mystikal. was released on October 26, 1998 as the second and final single of his third studio album Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told, with the record labels No Limit Records and Priority Records. The song was produced by Craig B and Master P.
