Gucci Mane’s third single of 2023 is here, which is “Pissy.” This record also includes two huge features from Roddy Ricch and Nardo Wick. Gucci initially announced Pissy on Thursday, as he hinted that it may have vibes reminiscent of his 2009 “Lemonade” single.
This comes after Gucci released his “06 Gucci” single featuring DaBaby and 21 Savage a month ago, as well as his “King Snipe” single featuring Kodak Black, in January.
Young Dolph’s legacy continues in the late rapper’s new music video, “Love For The Streets”. Accompanied with archive footage of Dolph, the clip features an array of cars doing tricks, fans showing love for their beloved throughout the city of Memphis.
Lil Wayne, whose list is quite a doozy, containing both the expected picks and some left-field surprises that actually make sense when you consider his own unique approach to the art of rap. Wayne gave his answer in a special edition of What’s Wright? With Nick Wright, a podcast version of the Fox Sports personality’s popular show.
Almost as well known for his affinity for hip-hop as Wayne is for his sports referencing raps, Wright offers his own list (a pretty humdrum collection including the usual picks: Jay-Z, Tupac, Wayne himself, Kanye West, and T.I.), which Wayne says he respects. Then Wayne starts off his own list with a pick that far too few people include for my taste, Missy Elliott. Vindication!
Gucci Mane just jump off the porch with this new release "Long Live Dolph." The new album "So Icy Christmas" is Out Now!
It's getting hard to make a case against Gucci Mane's New 1017 being one of the hardest rosters in the South at the moment. Despite the setbacks that the incarcerations of Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano have presented, Gucci's ear is taking no breaks and he's packing out the lineup with a solid group of names in the meantime.
Kanye West’s second Donda listening party on August 5 has broken the record for the most-watched Apple Music event in history. The listening session, which saw Yeezy debut a slew of new songs before he ascended to the Heavens and almost, touched the sky was streamed by 5.4 million viewers.
Gucci Mane has been reconstructing the 1017 roster ever since he was released from prison. The rapper had Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Asian Doll, and Lil Wop on the roster at one point in time before each artist went their own ways. These days, the 1017 imprint houses some of the hottest rappers in the game such as Pooh Shiesty and the now-incarcerated Foogiano. The latest rapper to sign to the label is Mississippi’s BigWalkDog who Gucci Mane introduced.
The singer has tapped Gucci Mane to front Icy Park, the latest drop in her adidas x Ivy Park collection. The size-inclusive line features apparel, footwear, and accessories that combine “alpine-inspired elements with classic streetwear references,” according to WWD.
In the teaser video, Gucci keeps his face hidden while donning a wintery wardrobe including robe, metallic puffer jacket, and plenty of ice. The East Atlanta Santa also shows off his all-white Ivy Park drip and new Super Sleek Boot in a photo from the campaign. Bey continues the all-white theme while seated on a ski lift in her promo image.
During the episode, the Queen revealed why she has yet to collaborate with King Kendrick. “The reason why I haven't collaborated with Kendrick Lamar yet is because he don't want to get washed,” joked Nicki.
She went on to express her admiration for the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper. “I’m a big fan of him and his talent and I’m looking forward to collaborating with him one day hopefully because he’s animated and I like the animation. And also, he just respects the craft of rap and at this time right now…” she laughed before trailing off.
In 2005, Gucci and Jeezy joined forces on two tracks, “Black Tees” and “So Icy,” both produced by then up-and-coming beatsmith Zaytoven. “Icy” caught fire almost instantly in rap circles and Gucci Mane pushed it as his lead single from his debut LP, Traphouse.
Gucci Mane Charged with the murder of a Jeezy associate While Gucci was visiting a female friend on May 10, four men broke into the house and began assaulting him. Days later, Gucci turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was charged with the murder of Pookie Loc.
